i saw the FAQ's and saw that the pegs for the head are still in the head but when i did a head switch both heads were pegless..does this effect anything?

if there is a peg between the head and the neck you are fine, it doesnt matter whether it comes out with the head or stays in the neck.

thanks..please lock EDIT!! i was also wondering how to get tatoos off of figures...i've noticed that the newer figures have a lighter type of tattoo. the one i'm wondering about is an early rey mysterio from adrenaline...any tips?

To get tattoos off use nail polish remover or paint thinner.

Acetone works well to remove paint from figures. Use it sparingly, though. It can melt plastic, and it is very flammable.

I've also found spray on acrylic sealer, if you have it, works well. Just spray it directly on the area -- you'll actually see it start to work and blur a bit. WIPE QUICKLY, or you'll just end up...sealing it. It will get sticky. I recommend having your cloth or paper towel slightly damp. And depending on the size or darkness of the tattoo, you may need to repeat the process. It's worked well for me, just make sure you're not rubbing up against things you don't want to take off, like gloves. The sealer will start to take that off as well.
