Anyone else just absolutely love the hell out of these? Some of them have held up extremely well, and I still don't think they've ever produced shows as good as the Spider-Man and especially X-Men ones, even though I did enjoy Wolverine and the X-Men.
I still need to see the Silver Surfer, Iron Man and Hulk shows (I have IM on DVD ready to watch and I've seen Hulk before but it's been years). I watched through the F4 one for the first time a while back and thought it was surprisingly really good, especially the second season.
I've also thought it was really cool how they nearly all crossed over at some point. It's a shame that the Secret Wars episodes of Spiderman only used Storm, instead of all the X-Men as they were originally going to.
But the less said about their Avengers show, the better.

The X-Men was an institution for my brother and I, I have some on DVD and some still hold up, some not so much...but what I loved with these cartoons (and especially some others from the '90s) was the multi-faceted focus of them; you could view the shows as pure good vs evil, but others introduced things that were a reflection on society and that's what made my brother and I shift toward Marvel heavily instead of DC...
Things like the Friends of Humanity that mirrored things that would probably go over other kids' heads like hate crimes and discrimination really got me hooked...the Spiderman: Animated Series was compulsive viewing for us too, but we didn't get to see much of the Iron Man animated series...
Good stuff @cabbageconkers, that brought me back to a good time; watching cartoons before school and loving every second of it...

I'm legit furious that the X-Men and Spider-Man Animated Series have been removed from Netflix. I loved both of those and, I know its not Marvel, but I loved the Batman one. Also, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles.

They were really good. A notch below Batman the Animated Series but very good.
However I think Justice League and Justice League Unlimited is the best Superhero cartoon of all-time.

I have every episode of X-Men on 6 DVDs. I watch a couple episodes of either X-Men or the original TMNT series a few nights a week. It's also my Saturday morning thing. I don't watch any new cartoons beyond the new Ninja Turtle show but I do love the older shows that were staples of my childhood, He-Man, Ghostbusters, Batman, Spider-man, DuckTales.
I love X-Men so much. Genuinely one of my favorite shows ever and I think it still holds up extremely well. Also, the X-Men comics from Pizza Hut were the first comics I ever read, and what really got me into being a comic book reader to this day.

Was it just me, or did it feel like the Morph storyline in X-Men went on for my entire childhood?

This was how I was exposed to XMen . My aunt has some VHS tapes of the show and I used to watch them a lot.

Dammit. This thread makes me want to go back and watch that '92 X-Men series, but it's not available for streaming on Netflix or Hulu.

The final season is like a completely different cartoon.

Although the budget was cut at the start of Season 5, Chris Potter didn't voice Gambit at all in that season. Gambit didn't speak until the final few episodes when he had a new voice actor. Some of the S5 episodes are actually really good though, especially the Phalanx ones. The Spidey and X-Men shows were cancelled because they were too popular (honestly not joking). I hate how on the DVD it's described as having "all new animation".

That's crazy about Gambit!
My favorite episodes were the Magneto/Professor in the Savage Land!

X-Men and Spiderman were a staple of my youth. Didn't Power Rangers come on like right before or after X-Men?
X-men was so good because it was so much like the comics. Visually it looked like the comics that were out on newstands........and they packed in a ton of characters.
I loved that their were huge multipart episodes...just like a comic arc

X-Men and Spider-Man were two great shows. Didnt see much of the others but I loved the animation on both of them shows. Much better that todays cartoons although the reboot of Thundercats was really good even though it didnt last. I had a big MOC collection from the original Thundercats that i made a small fortune on when i sold them on eBay a few years back.

Fox didn't like that Marvel controlled their most popular and successful animated shows, so Spiderman and X-Men were both cancelled for that reason alone. I think they kept Hulk going for a while, but it wasn't as popular as the x/s shows so it was cancelled for that reason. X-Men and Spider-Man were two great shows. lets be honest. The Fox Xmen cartoon was great because it got the sexual tension between Cyclops/Jean/Wolverine......and Rogue/Gambit correct

Not the first time I've heard of shows being too popular. Young Justice was cancelled for having a strong female viewership.
I liked 90's Marvel cartoons. I wish they would cut out these Disney XD shows and make some new good ones. I was so excited to hear they were doing Ultimate Spider-Man and then the show....yeah....was nothing like it.
