United were horrendous. I have no idea how Michael Keane has made it at United, played him a few times at school level and he wasn't that good at all, his brother was unreal though.

That was absolutely disgusting from United last night. Van Gaal can't have expected the squad to be this bad.
Very glad we didn't sign Michael Keane based on last night!

3-5-2 is VERY hard to put up. Juve plays with 2 really defensive wingers. Even Holland in the world cup used 2 full backs on the wings. If Van Gall wants to keep this formation he will have a one hell of a challenge.

Good performance from Liverpool yesterday. A few shaky moments but looked better defensively. Manquillo and Moreno were impressive at full back, Moreno's goal was fantastic. Balotelli loked good as well, I was impressed with his defensive work.

Wary of Leicester but hoping for another strong performance. City-Chelsea should be interesting - I think City will win, especially if Pelligrini comes to his senses and drops Yaya.
I swear, Yaya is impervious to criticism (or was before this week). He's a great player but would drop like anyone does, yet would never get criticised for it. By comparison David Silva, who is even better than Yaya on his day, get attacked every time he has a drop in form. Kompany used to get protected too, whilst Demichelis gets more than he deserves. Seems to happen more with City than other clubs and I dunno why - nothing to do with the club as its the journalists that report on it, but just odd imo.

Don't think United will have it as easy as they did last week, personally I'm thinking a draw. If there is a winner though, it'll be Man Utd. Ditto for City/Chelsea. Probably a draw but I don't see Mourinho pulling one over on them again. Man City to win if there is one.
As for us.....where to start. We can't score enough goals, and on the rare game we do, we concede too many. We're incapable of holding onto a lead. Ideally I'd love Alan Irvine to do a great job but it just doesn't seem likely. If we're still winless come October, I think it's time to cut our losses (shouldn't have appointed him in the first place) and do whatever it takes to get Pulis in.

We should give you a lot more of a challenge than QPR did, but I'm still expecting a United win.
Nigel's team selection should be interesting. We've been starting with Dean Hammon and Andy King in midfield due to injury, but with Drinkwater and James back and Cambiasso doing well off the bench against Stoke any of them could be in for a recall. Hopefully our array of players with United links (Drinkwater, James, Schlupp (trial), De Laet, Kasper all likely to feature - possibly Danny Simpson) will feel they have something to prove and will really be on top of their game. If United play as well as they can we don't stand a chance, I'm glad they smashed QPR and hoping they'll be a little bit complacent.
Looking forward to seeing how QPR/Stoke, Newcastle/Hull, Burnley/Sunderland go tomorrow. Got a feeling that any of those six sides could be in for a tough season (not as sold on Hull or Stoke as most people seem to be).

I called it. Well jokingly. I said with Rooney, Rvp and Falcoa it was going to be a goal fest because Evans and Blackett are at the back.
