Credit to robert69 for the original concept. Alright, this will be a tournament for video game characters only. Nominate whoever you like until we have 128. We're not sick of these yet...right? You may nominate up to 8 characters. Sonic the Hedgehog He is one of the most iconic video game characters of all time and has had some of the greatest games ever made. Even if you don't like Sonic you can't deny his impact on the video game world. This was a fun tournament to do. I may do it again in the future now that I've learned some things, but not for some time now. |

I am basing my decisions off of how deep the characters are and/or if they are well written. I decided against doing personal favorites (although some of these characters are). I decided to throw M'aiq in with them since he's only included as a way for Bethesda to troll the players over features left out. His lies are hilarious.

Really 47 and Croft you've got to at least put in consideration in a thing like this. They're definitely in the class of famous characters in the video game universe.

Going with an all out Fighter theme here these are mostly standouts from their respective game ( and my personal favorites ), with the recent resurgence in fighting games since 2008 I feel it's a necessary addition to the tournament, I will change the list though if you find it limiting.

Some will be hard because it is player based, mostly talking about RPGs so how would they be included? A lot of RPGs like that do have default names for the main character like Max in Shining Force. I...think that's what you meant anyway. It just comes down to whoever is nominated first. I think I will do it up to 128 assuming it gets a lot of interest though. |
