I have a rather large and growing collection of Jakks Classic Superstar figures. I know most collectors have moved on but I still enjoy adding the figures I missed during the initial releases. I keep running into the same problem though, a lot of my figures have loose knees and ankles (which is a constant pain because I display my figures loose and when one goes down the rest tend to follow).
I have tried putting a dab of super glue in the joint and slowly rotating it as it dries, but I end up with loose joints with globs of glue on the outside.
If anyone has any other tips I'd love to hear em!

Going from freezing to boiling that fast doesn't cause any damage to the plastic?

I always hated when this happened. It was worse when the waist would turn into a ing windmill though.

This is why I dislike buying loose figures online. Never have that problem with any figure I've bought in the package. The hot/cold treatment won't really do much except return it to it's normal pre soak condition once the temp goes up. Maybe if you boiled it and actually tried to reshape it. Otherwise it won't really do much.
