Why do they release these names incrementally? Are they sitting at a table with a list of names, deciding who gets fired right then? I'm sure they're calling guys one by one to tell them the bad news.... Happy Father's Day, you're fired.... BTW, be a good Father! I bet they've got Barrett doing it. 'Hello, Evan it's Wade. These are (mostly) all good choices, dead weight, poor gimmicks.
The only two I'm iffy on are Drew McIntyre. I don't know much about him in singles competition, but with 3MB I was not impressed at all.
Teddy Long, this is only iffy because I grew up on late 80s/early 90s WCW, so he has nostalgia for me, but nothing more.
They still have a hand-full left to properly cut more dead weight.

ok here's my thoughts on this...
first off, i thought WWE wasn't "releasing" talent anymore? possible that all these guys had contracts that expired today?
secondly, i absolutely cannot fathom why they would cut Drew & Jinder considering 3MB was a regular act featured on TV weekly at this point.
I'm sooooo incredibly pissed off at this, because I genuinely enjoyed those 3 and felt they were utterly CRAPPED on for NO REASON. They could have been a real fun mid-card act, instead they were reduced to utter rubbish and it just sucks.
Sad to see Teddy go, He really was a staple of Smackdown for so long. Maybe he wanted to retire?
Tatsu? no surprise
Hawkins? no surprise
Brodus Clay? WOW, I mean this guy was a HUGE act for over a year. They split the team, with no reason or explanation. I just don't get it.
I'm sure all those guys will land on their feet, TNA will probably grab Clay and make him into another Samoa Joe type.
Evan Bourne was no surprise since he had multiple wellness violations, and hadn't been used in 2 years. his contract must have been up.
in the end im totally shocked and quite pissed off they dumped 2 of 3MB.
the rest? meh, just opens up more space on my figure roster shelf
