I used the testing paint for models 1 week ago on a figure, and it is still wet. Does anyone know why?

Use acrylic paint and if you mean testors paint then something's wrong

There are 2 types of testors paint, acrylic and enamel, sounds like you used the enamel. It stays gummy and doesn't set up. Acrylic is the way to go.
