The C's have had two good picks so far. Marcus Smart is a guy that is going to compete, he's strong and that shot will come. James Young was a good pickup for them. My Suns have had some good pickups with T.J. Warren and Tyler Ennis. Would love for Shabazz Napier fall to us 27.

So much for that. Napier going to the Heat via trade with Hornets.

Wouldn't be an NBA draft without the Raps taking a Euro nobody.

Some of the Euro guys turn out to be decent contributors. Early Peja, Hedo (before the injuries) and Dirk lead the post Jordan European players. My personal favorite Euro players were Arvidas Sabonis, Detlef Schrempt and the late Drazen Petrovic. That dude would've been a star had he not been killed in I believe a car crash.
My Suns drafted a Euro shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic. May have to wait on him to finish his European commitments, but he could end up being a contributor.

I didn't mean nobody as in a player with no skills, just a player that wasn't on many team's radars. Not hating on European players by any means but the Raptors ALWAYS take them, haha.

As far as what I read, they've taken the second most European players in history behind the Spurs.

Lowry to the heat sounds good. I love Napier and thinks he will help the team. I moved to Florida at a young age and am a big magic fan and heat fan. I hate Lebron. He made our fanbase a bunch of annoying bandwagoners. I can't even go to a heat game anymore without being near annoying fans so I go to magic games.

Wouldn't be an NBA draft without the Raps taking a Euro nobody. "He's like the Brazilian Kevin Durant!" Anyways I don't mind it, maybe they're trying to secure some cap-room for free-agency? Who knows Cabocio may just be the Brazilian Kevin Durant.

Don't know how to feel about the sixer's picks. I'll give you an update in 3 years.

Who knows Cabocio may just be the Brazilian Kevin Durant. Might be it. They can't afford to lose Lowry. I just don't know what their state is right now. Are they trying to load up to win now or build for the future? Drafting Cabocio suggests the latter but I feel like talent wise, they're a few pieces away from contending, especially in the weak East. Passing on Ennis & Napier suggests that they believe they have a good chance of retaining Lowry. We'll see how the free agency unfolds.

Wouldn't be an NBA draft without the Raps taking a Euro nobody. My guess is that you're talking about taking Bargnani number 1 in 2006.

Bosh and Wade opt out.
In more breaking news, the Miami Heat will rival the Houston Astros in attendance next season.
Keep in mind the Astros had a game where about 200 people showed up. Haha.

They probably opted out for a new contract so they can take a pay cut and get better players out on their team. But, if they do go their separate ways then RIP Miami Fanbase haha.

Honestly, I think Miami is gonna restructure the contracts to bring in free agents like Lowry or Melo. Otherwise, it would've been very stupid for Wade & Bosh to opt out because they're not getting that type of money anywhere else.

The Larry Bird rule will allow them to offer Melo a max contract and resign the other three. Legally putting them over the cap.

Not quite... the Heat would have to renounce the players' rights (eliminating the cap holds) before signing Melo outright. Only way all four guys can sign there is if they all take discounts.

You had to be blind if you didnt see all 4 guys from Miami opting out.
The move frees up 55 million in cap space, they can bring all 4 back and still sign other guys.
