BDW As Good As It Gets 6/16/14

Hey now! Brilliant show! It was crazy right from the word go, your new camera makes a world of difference. Looking forward to more BDW!

I honestly don't get what's so hard to understand. Certain elements are serious and certain elements are supposed to be funny. If Raven didn't no sell the car shot then he would've laid on the ground for the rest of the night. Pics are almost perfect for me, however until I learn how to turn off autoflash a couple shots are gonna be blurry.

Disclaimer: Please take these criticisms as areas to improve on. So I checked the show out yesterday and I must say it was not good. On the positive, again, I think your strength are telling stories and adding a little substance to the show and a good bit of your pictures are nice and clear but outside of that everything needs work.


1.  Let's start with the obvious blurriness of the camera shots. Your promo pic in the discussion thread made it appear the pics were gonna be pretty crisp, and some of them were..but then we get shots like this:





Now, in fairness, you have shots like this here spread throughout which is an improvement, but try to make these more of the norm. If you're not using a tripod to stabilize the camera, I highly suggest you get one:

Also, too often, the poses are quite stiff, like these:




I honestly wouldnt be able to figure out what's going on based on these pictures. Unfortunately, most of the posing in this show is similar to this. Even when guys are going for pins. I understand working with TTL/Basics sorta hinders your range of posing, but honestly a moved knee, or waist twist here or there would provide more realism.

3. Moreover, your transitions through the moveset. It's been suggested that in my highlight format that the flow is lost, which i can see from that perspective now. With you not doing highlights, it's really noticeable in some of your shots. What I mean is there's a missing shot in between like when Fandango was on top of the van then in the next shot he's sitting on top of the guy on the ground. One or two transitional pics would probably help with the desired sequencing. However, it's not necessary to do a shot by shot incremental picture. This isn't an animation, but there should be suitable visual representation of the complete move.

4.  Resize your pictures.  602 x 360 is what the above pics were resized to.  Big pics take the show forever to load.

5.  Your arena.  I've stated this before.  If it's something you're working on fixing then fine, but just adding some background, getting rid of the VHS tapes, putting up a decent entranceway, would really make things look good.

As I said earlier, please take these criticism as interest in seeing your fed improve and not as disparaging remarks.  Others may feel differently about your fed, but this is just my opinion, so take it as such.  I think we all try to work together to help each other out here, and that's why I'm taking the time to do this. That said, it's your fed, and ultimately, the changes you choose to make are up to you. You invest alot of time and money into your fed, so why not make it as good as it gets ...see what I did there? This show was ok for what your fed is. I thought your show's picture quality would be bumping after you posted your preview pic but throughout the show it seemed like you don't know how to focus the camera  because the picture quality got bad for a series of photos but then got clear for a picture or two. Posing was really stiff and took away from the show. Try to bend the joints more and you can always ask me for help with posing if you need it. Also maybe try to add an extra picture into a sequence. Ok show Brick.
- The JTG opening was funny. What type of box is that for the entrance. Dang that TTL SCSA head looks evil ... The new Job Squad is Just In Credible ( ) I like how Ryback is in your fed. You made a super cena? Nice squash match
-RVD and Pillman promo's were intriguing
-The Job Squad Flock stuff was fun...
-Funk vs. Jack was ok.
-The main event was ruined by too many blurry pictures and bad poses but the end was good.
Try hard to improve on pic quality Brick. Ok show.    
 

Lynn vs. Jericho was a cool match. it's just that the pic quality took away from the viewing experience a lot. 

Decided to read this on my mobile, got as far as Ryan's debut an then it crashed Chrome on my Iphone 4S. Take that as you will, lol.

Try viewing it in IE. Doesn't crash for me and my laptop sucks

I'll make sure the pics are smaller from now on. Interesting as they're quite small because they're 2 options away from being the smallest pics you can take with my Canon camera
