TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV October 22nd, 2005 The iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, FL Kicking off the final top for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling before Bound for Glory on Pay-Per-View was the arrival of the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels. He stepped into the ring, saying that ever since Unbreakable the month prior, the wrestling world has been buzzing over the Triple Threat match for the X-Division Championship. "People are talking about how AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and, especially, the 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels are the future of the industry. What no one is talking about, however, is the fact that at Unbreakable, the world witnessed the biggest travesty in TNA history when my reign as the longest standing X-Division Champion of all-time came to an end. However, there is nothing to worry about. Tomorrow night at Bound for Glory, the wrongs will be righted when I win my second Ultimate-X match in a row and regain the X-Division Championship that rightfully belongs to me," said Daniels before he was interrupted by the entrance music of Samoa Joe. The 'Samoan Submission Machine' stepped into the ring as the iMPACT! Zone rampantly chanted, "Joe's gonna kill you!" Joe told Daniels that he needs to get over the fact that he is no longer the X-Division Champion because the fact of the matter is that he won't be regaining it any time soon. "You can go on and on about how you were the longest reigning X-Division Champion in TNA history. AJ Styles can talk about how he's the face of the company, but none of that matters. What does matter is that at Bound for Glory, the 'Samoan Submission Machine' finally becomes X-Division Champion and dominates the competition," said Joe. "Listen, Joe, I think you need to be rational here. Yes, the X-Division is not about weight limits, it's about no limits, but seriously. Have you given any thought as to how you're going to retrieve the championship without snapping the cables?" asked Daniels, poking fun at Joe's large stature. Before the 'Fallen Angel' could dig himself in a deeper hole, AJ Styles' entrance music hit as the reigning X-Division Champion made his way down to the six-sided ring. The 'Phenomenal One' told Christopher Daniels that he can brag all he wants about his victory back at Destination-X, but he knows the truth. "What I remember was me taking down the X-Division Title and then you stealing it from me. Go ahead and talk about being the longest reigning champion in company history, but you didn't earn it. And Joe, you've built a reputation of being this undefeated monster, but there's just one little blemish on your record. At Unbreakable, you weren't pinned or made to submit, but you did not leave as the X-Division Champion. I did, and at Bound for Glory in twenty-four hours, history will repeat itself," said Styles. "Yes, AJ. You are absolutely correct. History will repeated itself at Bound for Glory, but not because you are going to retain the X-Division Championship, but because I am going to once again win Ultimate-X and take back-" said Daniels before Samoa Joe delivered a huge kick to the chest of the 'Fallen Angel.' Daniels rolled out of the ring as he gasped for air. Joe would then turn around and charge towards Styles, but the 'Phenomenal One' dodged the attack and caught Joe with a Pele Kick! Joe rolled out of the ring to opposite stage of Daniels, Styles raising the X-Division Championship for both men to see. Who will leave Bound for Glory and the Ultimate-X match as the X-Division Champion in one of the most anticipated rematches in TNA history? CHRIS SABIN, SONJAY DUTT, MATT BENTLEY, SHARK BOY AND SONNY SIAKI DEF. AUSTIN ARIES, ALEX SHELLEY, RODERICK STRONG, ELIX SKIPPER AND PETEY WILLIAMSA Ten Man Tag Team match featuring the participants in tomorrow night's X-Division Gauntlet match. Chris Sabin was ultimately the one who managed to pick up the victory for his team after nailing 'Primetime' Elix Skipper with the Cradle Shock. Who will come out on top tomorrow when all ten collide in an X-Division Gauntlet match? MONTY BROWN DEF. KIP JAMESPrior to the start of the match, 'The Franchise' Shane Douglas conducted an interview with Kip James regarding his involvement with The 3Live Kru. Kip stated that while he is not exactly friends with Ron 'The Truth' Killings and Konan, BG James has always been like a brother to him and he will always be by his side. At that moment, 3LK approached Kip, Konan telling him that he didn't give a damn about his past history with BG. "That's in the past, dawg. We don't need you around and we don't want you around!" said a heated Konan as BG and Truth held him back. Kip told Konan that in order to prove that he is not the enemy, he would go out to the ring and challenge 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown. BG tried to tell Kip that it wasn't necessary. "Truth's got Monty Brown tomorrow. Just let it be," said BG, but Konan told him to let Kip go out there and get demolished. "Maybe that'll teach him a lesson!" said Konan. When the actual match arrived, Kip did what he could to prove himself to The 3Live Kru, but his efforts were meaningless as Monty Brown was able to put him away with the Pounce. Afterwards, BG James made his way down to the ring to check on his former tag team partner. This caused Konan to hit the ring, asking BG what he was doing. Konan and BG got into an argument and shoved each other, which caused Ron 'The Truth' Killings to get involved and try to intervene. Things are only getting worse for the 3LK, but Truth needs to stay focused as he takes on Monty Brown tomorrow night at Bound for Glory. A video package was shown for the Monster's Ball match featuring Jeff Hardy, Abyss, Rhino and Sabu. Due to the pre-match stipulation, all four were currently locked away in separate rooms with no food, water or light. In twenty-four hours, they would all be set free and turned loose in the Monster's Ball. Who will walk away from Bound for Glory as the number one contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship? BOBBY ROODE W/ TEAM CANADA DEF. LANCE HOYTTowards the finish of the bout, the fan favorite, Lance Hoyt, began to pick up momentum as he was in the driver's seat. Scott D'Amore would then step onto the ring apron to distract the official, allowing Eric Young to strike Hoyt in the back with a hockey stick. Roode capitalized by delivering a Northern Lariat to pick up the victory. Afterwards, Team Canada stepped into the ring to celebrate with Roode as D'Amore took a microphone. "Naturals! I hope you two were watching because this is the well-oiled machine that you will be up against tomorrow night at Bound for Glory. Two of the most gifted athletes in the industry today, Bobby Roode and Eric Young, will wipe the floor with you guys and take the NWA World Tag Team Championships! If their abilities isn't enough proof, just remember that they will have the greatest mind in TNA in their corner! You two aren't going to have anyone there to guide you. Chris Candido sure as hell won't be there to see you both fall to the feet of Team Canada!" said D'Amore. Almost immediately, The Naturals came running down to the ring as Team Canada bolted out. Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens were heated as they called for Roode, Young and D'Amore to get back into the ring. "Scott D'Amore crossed the line tonight! Absolutely unnecessary for him to bring up Chris Candido, the late mentor of The Naturals," said Mike Tennay commentary. Will The Naturals be able to get revenge and retain the NWA World Tag Team Championships at Bound for Glory? At this time, a vignette was shown to follow up the one that aired last week. "Mistreated.......Misunderstood.......Mishandled......No one listened to me. Not a single person cared for what I had to say. Finally.....my side of the story will be told," was the text that appeared on the screen. Returning to the iMPACT! Zone, Mike Tennay said that whoever is behind the vignettes delivered a written statement to the front offices of TNA. "Whoever this mystery man is, he claims to be the hottest free agent in professional wrestling today. He has a huge chip on his shoulder and will be coming to TNA Bound for Glory tomorrow night to air his grievances," said Tennay. NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION JEFF JARRETT AND AMERICA'S MOST WANTED VS. RAVEN AND TEAM 3-D ENDS IN A NO CONTESTTwo of Bound for Glory's most anticipated match ups got started early here tonight. Towards the end, Brother Devon made the hot tag to Raven, who came in swinging against the man he challenges tomorrow in a Last Man Standing match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Jeff Jarrett. Raven was looking to deliver the Raven Effect DDT, but Jarrett managed to push him away. Raven then went for a Clothesline, but Jarrett moved out of harm's way and Raven instead caught the official! Jarrett struck Raven from behind as he stomped away on him, Brother Ray stepped in. This caused James Storm, Brother Devon and Chris Harris to get involved as all hell was breaking loose. Storm was knocked to the outside of the ring, the 'Cowboy' taking his beer bottle and smashing it over the head of Brother Ray! Storm would then take Harris' handcuffs, stepping into the ring and aiding his partner and Jarrett in the three-on-two assault against Devon and Raven. After taking Raven down momentarily, the three turned their attention to Devon. Harris handcuffed him to the ropes, Devon trying to free himself. He was unable to as Harris and Storm delivered simultaneous Superkicks! With both members of Team 3-D now out, Jarrett and AMW were able to have their way with Raven. Harris and Storm held him up, allowing Jarrett to deliver a guitar shot to his skull! Raven fell to the canvas as Jarrett began the ten count, symbolic of their Last Man Standing match scheduled for tomorrow night. The 'King of the Mountain' soon reached ten as he and AMW raised each other's arms in the center of the ring. Will Jarrett and America's Most Wanted be able to recreate this scene at Bound for Glory?

OCTOBER 23RD, 2005 FROM THE iMPACT! ZONE - The time has finally arrived, ladies and gentlemen, for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling to usher in a new era of professional wrestling. Kicking off tonight's historic Pay-Per-View event was a video package that featured some of the organization's biggest moments thus far, only to be interrupted by static that lead into what is being referred to as "Controversy in Canada." In was one month ago when America's Most Wanted, Chris Harris and James Storm, shocked the world of wrestling by aligning themselves with the 'King of the Mountain' Jeff Jarrett, aiding him in defeating Raven to become the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Raven immediately sought revenge, choosing to invoke his rematch clause for a Last Man Standing match tonight against Jarrett. Raven, however, had backup to counter the trio of Jarrett and AMW. On iMPACT!'s Spike TV debut, Team 3-D made their debut to help Raven fend off his adversaries, making enemies out of Jarrett, Storm and Harris themselves. The result is a Dream Match tonight between Team 3-D and America's Most Wanted. Plus, the X-Division Championship is on the line in a rematch of one of the greatest bouts in TNA Wrestling history. In an Ultimate-X match, 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles defends against 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels and the 'Undefeated Samoan Submission Machine' Samoa Joe. "Tonight, the warriors of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling are destined for greatness, prepared for success.....and Bound for Glory!"
The iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, Florida was on fire as we were all set for the biggest even thus far in the history of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Bound for Glory! The focus was placed on Mike Tennay and Don West, who quickly ran down the line-up for tonight. "Everything that you could want from professional wrestling, we're giving it to you! Last Man Standing for the NWA World Heavyweight Title! Ultimate-X for the X-Division Title! A Tag Team dream match! Monster's Ball where the winner will become the number one contender for the NWA World Title! All that and plenty more, but we kick things off with a 10-Man Gauntlet match featuring some of the best X-Division talent in the world today!" said Mike Tennay to lead into the opening contest.
1) 10-MAN X-DIVISION GAUNTLET MATCH - The entrance music of Austin Aries hit, signaling that 'Professional Wrestling's Secret Weapon' would be entering the fray first. "Austin Aries has guaranteed victory here tonight, but if that's going to happen, he needs to outlast nine other competitors," said Mike Tennay, though Aries didn't seem to have any doubt in his mind. As he stood in the ring, Chris Sabin was introduced as the second participant, much to the pleasure of the iMPACT! Zone. The match began as Aries and Sabin locked up, the former going behind the back and trying to throw Sabin over. Sabin held onto the ropes, stomping on Aries foot to force him away. Sabin took Aries down to the canvas with a Headlock, keeping it in before releasing the hold and running the ropes. Sabin delivered a Dropkick to the face of Aries, picking him up and going for the elimination. Aries held onto the ropes, landing on the ring apron as Sabin tried to go back on the attack. Aries, however, was able to rake the eyes of Sabin, climbing onto one of the six corners and descending with Clothesline. Aries dropped an elbow onto Sabin before the countdown clock appeared, time expiring to reveal Sonny Siaki as the next entrant. Siaki hit the ring, taking down Aries with a shoulder tackle. He did the same to Sabin before placing him in a corner, trying to throw him over and out. Aries took the time regain his composure, laying on the ropes while watching his two other opponents do battle. After fighting off Siaki, Sabin attempted to deliver the Cradle Shock. Siaki's weight, however, forced Sabin against the ropes, Aries taking advantage and throwing both over the top rope. Sabin was able to hold on, but unfortunately for Siaki, he crashed onto the floor. Austin Aries eliminated Sonny Siaki. Just as Siaki was eliminated, the next participant, Petey Williams, joined the fray. The Team Canada member, and former X-Division Champion, springboarded off of the top rope and caught Sabin with a Dropkick. He and Aries both tried to throw Sabin over, but once again, Sabin held on. As Aries tried to force Sabin off of the ring apron with his foot, Williams snuck up behind 'Professional Wrestling's Secret Weapon' and attempted to eliminate him. Aries, however, managed to hold on, re-entering the ring and throwing William over. The pride of Team Canada remained in the match, confronting Aries in the center of the six-sided ring. Williams responded with a chop to the chest of Aries, but was hit with one as well. Aries and Williams traded chops before Sabin grabbed Aries in a Full Nelson, allowing Williams to fire away with rapid chops. The chest of Aries was beat red before Sabin pushed him into Williams, delivering a German Suplex. The fans in attendance popped for the arrival of Shark Boy, who slid into the ring came face-to-face with Sabin. The two crowd favorites charged into Aries at the same time, Clotheslining him over the top rope. Aries was able to hold on yet again, Shark Boy trying to eliminate him with a few forearms. Aries was able to retaliate with a few of his own, leaping over Shark Boy's back and catching Sabin with a discus forearm. Aries attempted to plant Sabin with a Brainbuster, but it was countered into a DDT. Williams then grabbed Sabin and slingshotted him into the ropes, but Sabin did not fall over like the Team Canada member had intended. The countdown clock once again expired, bringing out Roderick Strong this time. Shark Boy got a hold of Williams and was looking to deliver the Dead Sea Drop, but Williams was able to hold onto the ropes as Shark Boy fell onto the canvas. Williams kicked Shark Boy in the back of the head, bringing him up to his feet and placing him in position for the Canadian Destroyer!" Oh! That sick Flip Piledriver!" said Mike Tennay on commentary as Shark Boy was dropped right onto the top of his head. Williams picked Shark Boy up and threw him over the top rope for the elimination. Petey Williams eliminated Shark Boy.
Taking a bit too long to celebrate the elimination of Shark Boy, Petey Williams turned around and was met with an unbelievable chop from Roderick Strong. The 'Messiah of the Backbreaker' picked Williams up and threw him into a corner, hitting two more chops as the iMPACT Zone! yelled out "Wooo!" with every one. Austin Aries attempted to charge into Strong, but he managed to move out of the way as Aries splashed into Williams. Strong turned Aries around, delivering numerous chops to him. Don West noted on commentary that Strong and Aries are stablemates in Ring of Honor, but here at Bound for Glory, it's every man for himself in this X-Division Gauntlet. Strong backed away a bit and ran into both Aries and Williams in the corner, Sonjay Dutt making his way down to the ring now. 'The Original Playa from the Himalaya' quickly went after Strong, who had picked up the most momentum in the match by that point. Dutt and Sabin caught Strong with a Double Dropkick before being attacked from behind by Aries and Williams. Aries tried to get Dutt over the top rope, but couldn't at that point in the match. More time passed as it was time for the arrival of entrant number eight, Matt Bentley. They were doing the "Bentley Bounce" in the iMPACT! Zone as Bentley entered the ring and immediately caught Strong with a Superkick, following that up with one to Sabin. Sonjay Dutt, however, was able to take Bentley out momentarily with a Hurricanrana, then trying to do the same to Petey Williams. Williams, however, managed to prevent the Hurricanrana and delivered a Canadian Destroyer! Dutt bounced up to his feet and backed against the ropes, but was completely in a daze. That allowed Aries to charge into him with a Clothesline, sending Sonjay Dutt out onto the floor. Austin Aries eliminated Sonjay Dutt. Williams tried to do the same to Aries, but 'Professional Wrestling's Secret Weapon' was able to hold on, also fending off Williams with a forearm shot. To add insult to injury, Aries, while standing on the ring apron, kicked Sonjay Dutt in the face before re-entering the fray. The countdown clock expired yet again, this time bringing out 'Primetime' Elix Skipper. Tennay mentioned that it has nearly been a year since Skipper's career defining moment at Turning Point, where he walked across the top of the Six Sides of Steel. Skipper took Sabin and Bentley down with Clotheslines before Springboarding off of the top rope with a Moonsault onto the latter. Skipper tried to throw Bentley over, but couldn't quite the job done. Roderick Strong caught Skipper with a boot to the face before taking Bentley and setting him up for what appeared to be a Suplex. Instead, Strong tossed Bentley into the air and caught him with a Backbreaker! The iMPACT! Zone couldn't believe what they saw as Strong picked the broken Bentley back up, throwing him over and out of the six-sided ring. Roderick Strong eliminated Matt Bentley. Austin Aries would then climb to the top rope, but upon coming down, he was caught with a chop from Strong. "Roderick Strong is just delivering a beating to everyone in this match!" said Don West on commentary. Strong attempted to connect with another Backbreaker, but Aries was able to counter it and deliver a Brainbuster. As Aries got to his feet, the final participant, Alex Shelley, made his entrance. Shelley quickly grabbed Elix Skipper and threw him over the top rope, but 'Primetime' was able to hold on. Chris Sabin attempted to catch Shelley with a Superkick, but Shelley dodged it and Skipper was the victim instead, falling to the floor. Chris Sabin eliminates Elix Skipper. Four X-Division athletes remained in the match at that point. Chris Sabin, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong and Alex Shelley. It was noted that Aries and Sabin had both been in since the beginning, Strong entering in the middle of the fray and Shelley being the freshest of the four. Despite the latter statement, it was Shelley was suffered elimination first out of the final four as Sabin lifted in position for a vertical Suplex, running towards the ropes and throwing him straight to the floor. Chris Sabin eliminated Alex Shelley. When Sabin turned around, Aries delivered a Dropkick, but couldn't get the elimination. Roderick Strong got a hold of Aries and applied a Full Nelson, but it was clear that Strong's intention was to deliver a Backbreaker. Aries fought out of it, pushing Strong into the ropes. Sabin pulled the top rope down as the 'Messiah of the Backbreaker' was eliminated from the equation. Chris Sabin eliminated Roderick Strong. Ironically, the two remaining competitors were also the first two in the match. At this point, the over-the-top-rope aspect of the match was gone and the winner would be determined via pinfall or submission. Sabin spinrgboarded off of the top rope with a Flying Clothesline, but Aries managed to grab the arm of Sabin and apply an armbar. Sabin fought to reach the ropes, but with the support of the iMPACT! Zone, he was able to. Aries pulled Sabin up to his feet and threw him out of the ring, now able to do so freely. Aries ran the ropes and attempted a Suicide Dive, but Sabin moved out of harm's way. Aries crashed into the guard rail, Sabin stepping onto the ring apron and delivering a Hurricanrana. Sabin placed Aries back in the ring, calling for the Cradle Shock. Aries countered the maneuver and planted Sabin with Neckbreaker. Aries brought Sabin closer to a corner as he climbed onto the top turnbuckle, looking to connect with a 450 Splash. Sabin, however, was able to move out of the way, but Aries landed on his feet. Aries would then move out of the way as Sabin charged at him, causing him to crash into the top turnbuckle. Aries rolled Sabin up, only to rise back to his feet and kick him straight in the face! Aries popped Sabin up off of his feet, planting him with a Brainbuster! Aries went back to the top rope, coming down with a 450 Splash to finally gain the victory. AUSTIN ARIES WINS THE 10-MAN X-DIVISION GAUNTLET MATCH!
The iMPACT! Zone gives a mixed response as Austin Aries rose to his feet, standing tall after outlasting nine other X-Division competitors to come out on top in this Gauntlet match. Highlights from the finish of the bout were shown as the commentary team put over the effort of every other wrestler, especially Chris Sabin. On this night, however, Austin Aries proved himself as 'Professional Wrestling's Secret Weapon' and a competitor to keep an eye on here in TNA Wrestling.
Backstage, 'The Franchise' Shane Douglas was standing by with the NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Naturals. Douglas asked the two for their thoughts heading into their title defense against Bobby Roode and Eric Young of Team Canada. Chase Stevens said that he and his partner, Andy Douglas, have always had their differences with Team Canada, but Scott D'Amore made things personal on iMPACT! when he slandered the name of their late mentor, Chris Candido. "D'Amore, you crossed the line yesterday and now, Bobby Roode and Eric Young are going to pay the price for it. We're not just going out there for ourselves and Chris, but for everyone who has ever had to put up with Team Canada's crap here in TNA," said Andy Douglas before The Naturals left the scene. "Back to you guys at ringside for the NWA World Tag Team Title match!" Shane Douglas stated.
2) THE NATURALS DEFEND THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS AGAINST BOBBY ROODE AND ERIC YOUNG OF TEAM CANADA - Even before the bell was sounded to officially begin this contest, it was clear which team had the advantage as Bobby Roode and Team Canada had Scott D'Amore, Petey Williams and A-1 at ringside. The Naturals, however, would not let Team Canada's presence intimidate them in any way, taking the fight to Roode and Young. Roode was able to keep Chase Stevens grounded for a bit, building the anticipation of a hot tag to Andy Douglas. When Douglas was close, Roode pulled him and took him down with a Sidewalk Slam across his knee. Roode continued to work over the back, applying a single-legged Boston Crap. Stevens refused to submit, leading to Roode making the tag to Young with the hold still applied. Young dropped a leg over the back of Stevens' head, covering him for the two count. Young brought Stevens to his feet, striking him a few times before attempting to connect with a Flying Forearm. Stevens was able to dodge Young's shot, finally making the tag to Andy Douglas. Douglas came in swinging at Young, and even Roode who was on the apron. As Roode got to his feet with assistance from Williams and A-1, Douglas launched himself over the top rope with a Somersault onto Team Canada! Douglas went back into the ring, going for a Superkick onto Young. He failed to connect, though, leading to Young getting a roll up with his feet on the ropes. The official, however, caught Young's tactics in the corner of his eye, stopping the count and engaging in a verbal war with the Team Canada member. Bobby Roode would then slide into the ring, taking his time to argue with the official as well, though this was only a distraction attempt. Young then quickly grabbed the Team Canada hockey stick from ringside, going to strike Douglas with it. Chase Stevens, however, hit Young with a Superkick before charging into Roode with a Clothesline over the top rope. Douglas then took Young and placed him on the top turnbuckle, delivering the finishing maneuver of Chris Candido, the Blonde Bombshell! Douglas got the cover on Young to get the win and hold on to the gold! THE NATURALS RETAIN THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens met in the ring, the two hugging as they were handed back the NWA World Tag Team Championships.Scott D'Amore backed up the entrance ramp towards the tunnel, shouting that he would not allow The Naturals to have the last laugh in this story. Souglas and Stevens paid no attention to the word of D'Amore as they celebrated their victory, still the NWA World Tag Team Champions at Bound for Glory!
We cut to a video package for the upcoming match up between 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown and Ron 'The Truth' Killings. AS of late, tension has been rising within the 3-Live Kru as Kip James has set out to gain the trust of his former tag team partner, BG James. Konnan has taken great exception to Kip's actions, stating time and time again that he and the rest of 3LK want nothing to do with him. "Truth! 'The Alpha Male' does not care one bit about the drama with you and The 3-Live Kru! All that matters is when you step foot into the Serengeti at Bound for Glory, and that is when you... will feel... the POUNCE..... period!" said Brown in a voice over.
3) 'THE ALPHA MALE' MONTY BROWN VS. RON 'THE TRUTH' KILLINGS - "Ron Killings has been to the top before. He knows what it's like to hold the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. 'The Alpha Male,' on the other hand, is hungry for his first World Title reign and a win here would go a long way in proving to the Championship Committee that he deserves another opportunity," said Don West as the bell sounded, Monty Brown and Ron Killings standing off. Killings struck first with a huge right hand shot, hitting another few before whipping Brown into the ropes. Brown dodged a shot from Killings, catching him with a huge Clothesline. Brown picked Killings up off of the canvas, tossing him across the six-sided ring with a Fallaway Slam. Killings was able to kick out, leading to Brown tossing him to the outside. When Killings rose to his feet, Brown charged at him like a bull on the loose. Killings, however, was able to move out harm's way, causing Brown to crash into the ring post. Mike Tennay noted that damage to the shoulder of 'The Alpha Male' could affect his use of The Pounce, one of the most feared moves in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Killings rolled Brown into the ring, covering him for the near fall. 'The Truth' would then go high, climbing onto the top turnbuckle. Brown, however, managed to use his good arm to catch Killings in mid-air, ramming him into the corner. Brown rammed his shoulder repeatedly into the mid-section of Killings before delivering a nice Belly-to-Belly Suplex. 'The Alpha Male' would then attempt to deliver a Powerbomb, but Killings slid out of his grip. He was looking to connect with an Axe Kick, but Brown moved out of harm's way and hit a Clothesline to the back of Killings' head. Killings rose to his feet and backed against a corner, giving Brown the opening to splash into him. 'The Truth,' however, dodged it, rolling Monty Brown up for the two count. Killings would kick Brown in the rib area and attempt to deliver the Axe Kick again, but Brown caught him off guard by running the ropes at the same time. Killings stopped in his tracks and was decimated with The Pounce! Truth flew into the ropes as Brown got the cover on him for the victory. 'THE ALPHA MALE' MONTY BROWN DEFEATS RON 'THE TRUTH' KILLINGS!
A mixture of boos and cheers could be heard in the iMPACT! Zone as 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown was victorious here tonight against Ron 'The Truth' Killings. Brown motioned for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, putting not only Jeff Jarrett and Raven on notice, but also anyone else who may be gunning for the gold. After Brown left, Killings' 3-Live Kru brethrens, Konnan and BG James, made their way down to ringside to assist him. As they were doing so, Kip James walked down the opposite ramp, trying to help as well. That lead to Konnan shoving Kip, telling him to stay the hell out of their business. BG, however, finally showed a bit of remorse for Kip, shouting at Konnan to just let go of their issues. As the two 3LK members argued, Konnan took things further by slapping BG James across the face! BG had enough as he took Konnan down to the ground, the two exchanging blows! "My God! It's finally happened! The 3-Live Kru has imploded!" stated Mike Tennay. Kip James tried to separate the two, but Ron Killings went after him, shouting that this whole situation was his fault. More TNA officials were soon on the scene to restore order.
At this time, a video package was shown for the upcoming Monster's Ball match for a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. After enduring 24 hours with no food, water or light, four of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's most daring and dangerous competitors will wage war in an all out massacre. 'The Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy. 'The Monster' Abyss. 'The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Man' Sabu. 'The War Machine' Rhino. Who will emerge from hell with a date with destiny in their future?
4) JEFF HARDY, RHINO, 'THE MONSTER' ABYSS AND SABU COMPETE IN MONSTER'S BALL FOR A SHOT AT THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - During the entrances of all four competitors, it was clear that the past 24 hours had a massive effect on their psyche. All struggled with simply walking down to the ring, their eyes having to adjust to the bright lights of the iMPACT! Zone. After Rhino entered the ring, Jeff Hardy went right after him, Abyss and Sabu engaging in their own brawl. Hardy and Rhino's war spilled to the outside, 'The Charismatic Enigma' looking underneath the ring and bringing out a steel chair. He struck Rhino in the back with it before setting it up, running onto the seat and then into 'The War Machine' as he was backed against the barricade. Abyss took a trash can our from underneath the ring, but Sabu launched himself over the top rope and onto 'The Monster.' James Mitchell kept his distance from the carnage as Sabu took the trash can, leveling Abyss in the cranium with it. Sabu looked under the ring, this time bringing out a kendo stick. He struck Abyss a few times with it until 'The Monster' grabbed it. Abyss tossed the stick to the side, grabbed Sabu and Chokeslamming him onto the steel steps! Sabu's body landed awkwardly on the steps as Abyss rolled him back into the ring, covering him for the two count. Back on the outside, Jeff Hardy attempted to deliver a Twist of Fate onto Rhino, but was pushed into the pillar that will be used later on tonight in the Ultimate-X match. Rhino planted Hardy with a German Suplex onto the concrete before heading into the ring. He Clotheslined Abyss over the top rope before setting up Sabu for the Gore. Sabu, however, managed to move out of harm's way, Rhino running into the ring post. Jeff Hardy took a steel chair while he was still on the outside, striking Rhino in the side of the head with it! Sabu spinrgboarded off of the top rope, but as he was leaping in the air, Hardy threw the chair at him. 'The Charismatic Enigma' climbed to the turnbuckle and delivered a Swanton Bomb onto Rhino, but Abyss was able to break up the count. He attempted a Chokeslam, but Hardy kicked him in the mid-section a few times to break free from his grasp. A Twist of Fate was attempted, but Abyss managed to use his strength to counter it and lift Hardy onto his shoulders for the Shock Treatment! After Hardy kicked out of Abyss' pin attempt, 'The Monster' covered Rhino for the same result. The enraged Abyss went out to ringside and looked underneath the ring, bringing out a small black bag. The iMPACT! Zone popped as they knew that the bag signaled thousands and thousands of thumbtacks. Before Abyss could open the bag, Sabu slid into the ring with a steel chair and threw it at the back of his head! Sabu struck Abyss repeatedly with the chair, only to turn around and be met with a Gore from Rhino! 'The War Machine' got the cover, but Jeff Hardy managed to break up it with the steel chair. Hardy struck away on Rhino a few more times before throwing him out to ringside. Hardy would then bring out a table from underneath the ring, setting it up and placing Rhino flat on top of it. He climbed onto the top turnbuckle as the commentators believed that Hardy was going to perform a Swantom Bomb off of it. However, the intentions of 'The Charismatic Enigma' were a bit different. He began to climb the Ultimate-X pillar, soon reaching the top of it. "Jeff Hardy is at the top of that pillar! Oh my God, he can't seriously be thinking about this!!" yelled out Mike Tennay. Hardy would then leap off of the pillar, hitting a Swanton Bomb to Rhino through the table! "Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!" chants rang throughout the iMPACT! Zone as a replay of Hardy's unbelievable Swanton was on a loop for a few seconds. Both Hardy and Rhino were motionless on the ground, Don West stating that this is how much the NWA World Heavyweight Championship means to these four. As officials tended to both Hardy and Rhino, Sabu pulled out a table and slid into the ring. Not only did he set it up, but he took the bag of thumbtacks and poured them onto the surface of the table! Sabu got a hold of Abyss, positioning him for a Tornado DDT. Things went south for Sabu, however, as Abyss was able to prevent the DDT. Instead, Abyss grabbed Sabu and delivered a Chokeslam through the thumbtack-covered table! "You've got to be kidding!" shouted West on commentary as Abyss got the cover on Sabu, picking up the victory in the catastrophe known as Monster's Ball! 'THE MONSTER' ABYSS WINS MONSTER'S BALL!
"Oh my God, what a match!" stated Mike Tennay as Abyss rose to his feet, James Mitchell joining him in the ring. "Doomsday!" shouted Mitchell, knowing that his 'Monster' is now the number one contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Sabu remained motionless on top of the table remains and thumbtacks, while Jeff Hardy and Rhino were still being given medical treatment after Hardy's Swanton Bomb off of the Ultimate-X pillar. Despite all of the carnage, one man is left standing. More appropriately, one 'Monster' was left standing as Abyss has earned himself an opportunity against the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, whether it's Jeff Jarrett or Raven!
Cutting to another pre-match video package, we were taken back to TNA iMPACT!'s debut on Spike TV. It was on that night where Team 3-D, Brother Ray and Brother Devon, made their Total Nonstop Action Wrestling debut, immediately having targets painted on their backs by Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted. After weeks of anticipation, the time has finally arrived. The Tag Team Dream match takes place as Team 3-D and America's Most Wanted wage war for the first time ever!
5) THE TAG TEAM DREAM MATCH BECOMES A REALITY AS TEAM 3-D SQUARE OFF AGAINST AMERICA'S MOST WANTED - The iMPACT! Zone could not have been any hotter for this match, making noise right from the initial standoff between both teams. "3-D! 3-D! 3-D!" chants filled the atmosphere, only angering America's Most Wanted. "AMW once had the same support from the TNA fans, but threw it all away for the friendship of Jeff Jarrett," stated Mike Tennay before the bell was sounded to begin the bout. Chris Harris and Brother Ray started things off, Ray taking down 'The Wildcat' with numerous Clotheslines. Harris backed into a corner, making the tag to James Storm. Once in 'The Cowboy' struck away on Brother Ray, only to be met with a thunderous chop to the chest. Ray whipped Storm into the ropes, only for 'The Cowboy' to slide underneath him and take him down from behind. Storm stomped away on Ray before being forced away by the official. Ray made the tag to Brother Devon, who came in and instantly took Storm down with a Back Body Drop. Devon struck away on him for a bit before Harris tried to get involved, Brother Ray stepping into the ring as well. The official kept Ray away, allowing Harris the opening to Superkick Devon. Storm was able to get the cover, but Devon managed to kick out at two. Storm tagged in Harris, who stepped on the top turnbuckle. He attempted to deliver a leg drop, but Brother Devon moved out of harm's way. The tag was made to Brother Ray, who ran into the ring and shoved Storm off of the apron. Ray got a hold Harris, holding his legs up as Devon climbed onto the top rope. Performing their signature tag team maneuver, Brother Devon leaped off with a headbutt below the belt! Ray got the cover, but Harris was narrowly able to kick out. Ray dropped two elbows to the chest of Harris, covering him again for another near fall. Brother Ray placed 'The Wildcat' in a corner, striking him with several hard chops before whipping him into the opposite corner. Harris got a foot up in time, stepping onto the second turnbuckle. He caught Ray on the top of his head with a hammer fist, looking for Catatonic afterwards. Brother Ray was able to lad on his feet behind Harris, placing him in position for a Bubba Bomb. Storm attack Brother Ray from behind, leading to Devon getting involved to take out 'The Cowboy.' On the outside, Storm was able to hit a Drop Toe Hold, sending Devon head-first into the steps. As Brother Ray went for the Bubba Bomb once again, a woman jumped into the ring, catching the official's attention. "Wait a minute.... that's Gail Kim! Gail Kim is in the iMPACT! Zone!" said Mike Tennay, Don West asking why she was here, and more importantly, what business did she have getting involved in this match? While the official was trying to get Gail out of the ring, James Storm struck Brother Ray in the back of the head with a beer bottle. He quickly slid out as Harris took the dazed Ray, planting him with a Catatonic! Harris got the cover on Brother Ray as Gail Kim exited the ring, the official turning his attention back to the match and making the three count. AMERICA'S MOST WANTED DEFEAT TEAM 3-D!
"Come on, now! This isn't right!" exclaimed Don West on commentary as the iMPACT! Zone shared his anger. Chris Harris and James Storm had their arms raised in the ring as Gail Kim joined them, the trio standing tall over Team 3-D. "Last month, we saw America's Most Wanted sell their souls to the devil in Canada, and tonight at Bound for Glory, in her TNA debut, Gail Kim has done the same!" Mike Tennay stated as there was still confusion among the viewers as to why Gail assisted AMW. Regardless, America's Most Wanted has done exactly what they sought out to do - defeat Team 3-D on the biggest stage in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's three-plus year history!
Cutting to the backstage area, three separate shots were shown of Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe and the X-Division Champion AJ Styles getting set for the upcoming Ultimate-X match for the X-Division Title. That lead into a video package that highlighted the widely acclaimed Three Way Dance at Unbreakable. It was there that Styles ended Daniels' reign as the X-Division Champion, the longest in company history. On TNA's biggest stage to date, the three will compete in a rematch. Only this time, it will be contested in the match that embodies what the X-Division is all about: Ultimate-X!
6) AJ STYLES DEFENDS THE TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP AGAINST CHRISTOPHER DANIELS AND SAMOA JOE IN AN ULTIMATE-X MATCH! - After tearing down the iMPACT! Zone last month at Unbreakable, it was time for these three incredible athletes to do the same in the eighth Ultimate-X match in TNA history. "Never before has the champion retained in Ultimate-X. 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles told me earlier today that he's out to change that fact and make history here at Bound for Glory," stated Don West as the bell sounded to begin the match. Christopher Daniels immediately tried to scale one of the four steel pillars, but before he could get far, Samoa Joe grabbed him by his trunks and pulled him down to the canvas. Joe ran the ropes and delivering a running Senton to Daniels, Styles following up with a standing Shooting Star Press! Daniels rolled out of the ring as Joe struck Styles repeatedly, getting him in a corner. 'The Undefeated Samoan Submission Machine' got Styles on his feet before backing into a side-corner, looking to hit a running face smash. Daniels, however, grabbed Joe's foot from underneath the bottom rope, pulling him out and shoving him into the pillar. Daniels climbed up to the cable ropes, beginning to move towards the X-Division Championship. Styles, however, pulled Daniels down by his leg, grabbing him and delivering a sitout Powerbomb! Styles made his way over to the pillar, trying to climb it as Samoa Joe pushed him off. Styles landed on the ropes, remaining perched over them until Joe caught him with an Enziguri to the back of his head! Styles crashed out to the floor, Joe turning around and seeing Daniels charging at him. In response, Joe grabbed Daniels with his arm and slammed him down onto the canvas! The back of Daniels' neck hit the mat as Joe picked him back up, positioning him on the top rope. Joe delivered a Muscle Buster to 'The Fallen Angel' before noticing that he was the only competitor remaining in the ring. 'The Undefeated Samoan Submission Machine' climbed up the pillar, the commentators questioning if Joe's stature would allow to make a run for the X-Division Championship. Joe began to make his way towards the title, but AJ Styles scaled the pillar and began to move behind him. Styles kicked Joe in the back of his leg, repeating to do so until Joe's leg finally gave out. Joe crashed onto the canvas, Styles taking a moment to catch his breath before inching closer to the X-Division Championship. 'The Fallen Angel' soon had his hands on the rope, racing with Styles to the gold. Styles and Daniels began to kick each other, the former champion appearing to have the advantage. As a last ditch effort to get the upper hand, Styles turned his body around used his strength to pull himself up, coming down and hitting his knee onto the top of Daniels' head. Daniels fell from the ropes, crashing onto Samoa Joe as the two laid motionless on the canvas. With the iMPACT! Zone cheering him on, Styles was able to hang onto the ropes and pull down the X-Division Championship! 'THE PHENOMENAL' AJ STYLES RETAINS THE X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!
The audience in the iMPACT! Zone came unglued as AJ Styles slowly dropped from the cable ropes, picking up the X-Division Championship that fell along with him. For the first time in TNA history, the X-Division Champion has managed to retain the title in an Ultimate-X match! Once again, AJ Styles was able to overcome Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe and is still your TNA X-Division Champion!
Cutting to the commentary duo, Mike Tennay and Don West put over the action that we have seen thus far here at TNA Bound for Glory, thanking all of the viewers for helping make it the biggest event in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling to date. "And ladies and gentlemen, we are still not finished yet! Coming up next is our main..." said Tennay before the lights in the iMPACT! Zone began to flicker. On the tron, the words "Mistreated," "Misunderstood" and "Mishandled" appeared with static noises. The lights would then completely shut before unfamiliar music hit. "What in the world is going on?" asked Don West. After the name Hashim appeared on the tron, the lights would come back on as a man made his way through one of the two tunnel entrance ways. "Oh my God...." Tennay murmured as the man formerly known as Muhammad Hassan of World Wrestling Entertainment made his way down to the ring, the iMPACT! Zone stunned. He took a microphone, staring intensely at the camera. "Mishandled....mistreated....misunderstood. Just three words out of thousands that I could use to describe what has happened to me these last couple of months. In an instant, everything was taken away from me because of something that was completely out of my hands! But just because I speak a bit differently and I have a darker skin complexion than most Americans, I was the one punished for it! Even when I was offered a contract with Total Nonstop Action, I felt victimized and attacked yet again! No one could look me in the eye. If I said 'thank you,' they responded with as few words as possible. I tried to shake hands and everyone acted like I was trying to hurt them! It's been the same! Damn! Story! For the last four years! If you people want to view me as a threat, then that's just what I'll become. A threat to the entire TNA locker room. Hashim is here and he's taking over. So Jarrett...Raven...Abyss....I don't care who is the NWA World Heavyweight Champion because sooner than later, that title will belong to me!" Hashim threw the microphone down to the canvas, leaving the six-sided ring as he made an emphatic statement. No longer will he stand for the mistreatment. He's here for one reason and one reason only - to become NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
Speaking of the NWA World Title, the time had finally arrived for our main event. We were taken to one last video package, set to the official Bound for Glory theme song, "Image of the Invisible" by Thrice. At an event in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Jeff Jarrett shocked the world by defeating Raven to regain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship after assistance from America's Most Wanted. Wasting no time, Raven would be granted a rematch for Bound for Glory, but this time, under the stipulation of Last Man Standing, where the only way to win is to incapacitate your opponent to the point where he cannot answer a count of ten. Who will leave TNA's biggest event to date with the NWA World Heavyweight Title?
7) JEFF JARRETT DEFENDS THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AGAINST RAVEN IN A LAST MAN STANDING MATCH - After the pre-match introductions from Jeremy Borash, the bell sounded as Jeff Jarrett and Raven immediately began to trade blows with one another. It was clear that this was not going to be a wrestling contest, but rather an all out fight. Raven Clotheslined Jarrett to the outside, looking underneath the ring and pulling out a steel chair. Raven struck Jarrett in the shoulder with it before throwing him over the barricade. Raven and Jarrett began to brawl among the fans in attendance. Raven threw Jarrett into a wall before taking a chair from one of the TNA fans. He threw it at the head of the 'King of the Mountain,' but Jarrett was able to move out of harm's way. Raven made chase for Jarrett, who kicked him and threw him into the stairs. Jarrett would then take a camera from a nearby cameraman, waiting for Raven to rise to his feet. When Raven did so, Jarrett struck him in the face with the camera! "Count his ass out!" yelled Jarrett at the official. The referee began the count, but Raven was able to get to his feet at six. Raven had a cut on his forehead from the camera shot, Jarrett focusing on that wound by striking it repeatedly. Raven fell onto his hands and knees, giving Jarrett the opening to kick him in his side. Jarrett then picked Raven up off the floor, planting him with a Stroke onto the concrete! Jarrett would make his way over to ringside, believing that Raven would not be able to meet the count in time and thus, the match would be over. That wasn't the case, however, as Raven managed to make it to his feet at seven. He followed Jarrett over the barricade, catching him by surprise with a Clothesline. Raven bounced Jarrett's head off of the announce table, throwing him back into the ring. He took a chair with him, laying it flat on the canvas. Raven intended in delivering a Raven Effect DDT, but Jarrett was able to counter it and set him up for another Stroke. Raven prevented the maneuver from being hit by catching Jarrett with a low blow, picking up the chair and leveling him over the head with it! Raven would then pick Jarrett back up, only to bring him down with a Raven Effect! Jarrett made movement by the five count, letting Raven know that he wasn't out of this contest. This caused Raven to head out to ringside, looking underneath the ring and bringing out a table. He positioned it across from the ring, bringing Jarrett out to the ring apron. 'The King of the Mountain' wouldn't allow Raven to proceed with whatever he had in mind, the two trading heavy strikes. It looked like Jarrett had the upper hand for a moment as Raven stopped throwing his fist, appearing to be in a daze. "I'm the King of the Mountain, dammit!" yelled out Jarrett at the iMPACT! Zone that was booing him out of the sound stage. Raven, however, took the opening to kick Jarrett in the mid-section and place him in position for a Piledriver. Jarrett was lifted off of his feet as Raven delivered the Piledriver through the table! Both men remained on the floor, but it was clear that Jarrett was the one who got the worse of the bump. Raven got to his feet, looking underneath the ring one more time and bringing out a bag of thumbtacks, left over from the Monster's Ball match. Raven placed the bag in the ring, only to be ambushed from behind by America's Most Wanted! James Storm whaled away on Raven as Chris Harris assisted Jarrett up to his feet to keep him from being counted out. "This is 'Controversy in Canada' all over again!" yelled out Don West on commentary. Harris and Storm brought Raven into the ring, laying him out with the Death Sentence. "Count!!" shouted Harris at the hesitant official. While the count was being made, assistance came for Raven in the form of Team 3-D! Brother Ray and Brother Devon brawled with Harris and Storm, looking to not only help out Raven, but to gain a measure of revenge for their loss earlier in the evening. AMW had the advantage initially, shoving Ray to the side as Harris locked Devon's arms in place. Storm attempted to deliver a Superkick, but Devon moved out of harm's way as Harris took the kick instead. Storm stared at his fallen tag team partner in shock before turning around, walking right into a 3-D! Brother Ray and Brother Devon took America's Most Wanted up the entrance ramp and to the backstage area, trying to keep them from getting involved in this World Title match any further. "And no sign of Gail Kim this time," Tennay added, makig reference to the fact that it was Gail to cost Team 3-D their match earlier. Back in the ring, Jarrett took his signature and stared at Raven, who was facing a corner while holding onto the ropes and catching his breath. Jarrett swung the guitar, only for Raven to deliver a low blow! Raven planted him with a Raven Effect, hoping that would be the final blow he needed to become NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Jarrett began to stiry to his feet at the count of nine, Raven knowing now that he would have to go the extra mile to keep the 'King of the Mountain' down. Raven glared over at two objects - the guitar and bag of thumbtacks. He took the bag, opening it and pouring the tacks into the guitar. The iMPACT! Zone popped wildly, Raven holding the guitar over his head. When Jarrett turned around, Raven struck him over the skull with the thumbtack-filled guitar! Tacks flew everywhere as Jarrett crashed to the canvas, the guitar remains scattered. Raven backed against the ropes, watching as the official began the ten count. This time, Jarrett could not respond in time, bringing the match to an end and crowning a new champion! RAVEN IS THE NEW NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
"Raven has done it! He's the NWA World Heavyweight Champion!" shouted Mike Tennay as the iMPACT! Zone went absolutely ballistic! Raven dropped to his knees, blood smeared across his face as he was handed the championship that as wrongfully taken from him last month in Canada. In one of the most grueling contests in the history of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Raven has gotten not only his revenge, but the NWA World Heavyweight Title back! He strapped the title around his waist, standing on the second rope while spreading his arms out in his signature pose. Poetic justice for Raven at TNA Bound for Glory!
"Wait a minute!!" yelled out Don West on commentary as the cheers for Raven from the audience turned to warnings for what, or who, was behind him. When Raven turned around, he was met by the number one contender, Abyss, who planted him with a Black Hole Slam onto thumbtacks! "'The Monster' Abyss and James Mitchell just couldn't allow Raven to have his moment of glory!" Tennay stated as Mitchell scooped up the World Title, handing it over to his 'Monster.' "Doomsday, Raven! Dooms! Day!" shouted Mitchel as Abyss stared at the title before holding it in front of the camera. The biggest moment of Raven's TNA career - ruined by the new number one contender for his championship, 'The Monster' Abyss!
