Apologies if this should go in the offseason thread; I just thought it was a big enough issue that it deserves its own thread.
So will LeBron leave the Heat? I would've said yes, but I'm not really sure where he would go tbh...

Unless Wade and Bosh take paycuts and they bring in another player. (Melo,Lowry,Monroe) then I think he leaves

Ladies and gentlemen, The Decision: Part II!
You know I'm kinda 60/40 on him leaving. (60% he's leaving) I can't really see him taking a pay cut but at the same time, you would think four straight Finals appearances can at least convince him to stay.
I don't see Melo going to Heat, it's just not happening and if it does well then I'm gonna stop watching because of the lack of competition they're bringing. But then again, look what happened when Lakers tried to have Howard, Nash, and Kobe on the same team. They just didn't mesh well together. That, and injuries played a huge part but that's beside the point. If anything Melo goes to Bulls to become a Big 3 with Rose and Noah. That is if Rose is healthy enough and still
Him going back to the Cavs COULD be a possibility, though I doubt it. If LeBron wants to still be a championship contender for years to come, well the Cavs have a young team that includes Kyrie Iriving and the #1 pick (I still don't know how in the world that happened) in the draft so that might entice him a little bit. They can't possibly screw up the #1 pick this year.
It's going to be interesting what decision he makes, he's like the John Cena of the NBA lol. It will be funny if he makes his decision to join a team like the Lakers and says, "I'm taking my talents to Hollywood.."

He'll opt in for one more year, than next year he's out. The free agent class is way more stacked next year, including Tony Parker. EDIT: Big players who are most likely entering next year's class. Rajon Rondo Eric Gordon Kevin Love Paul Millsap LaMarcus Aldridge Deandre Jordan Marc Gasol Tyson Chandler Omer Asik www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-salaries/nba-free-agents-2015-2016/

I think the Heat are still the best chance he has of winning more titles.
I wouldn't complain if by some miracle he came to the Hawks Ha!

I honestly think there is a bigger chance the Heat add Melo than there is of Lebron leaving Miami. He's been on the Heat for 4 years and they went to the Finals 4 years in a row. How much more opportunity is he going to get someplace else? I'm not saying the same situation isn't out there, it certainly could be, but then he has to go through the 2010-2011 adjustment period all over again. Also, nothing is guaranteed just because he can lineup with another superstar someplace else, like LA. He might end up on a team with a superstar that isn't as willing as Wade to hand over the keys to the castle in the name of winning.
Lebron is so worried about his legacy but the fact he has to go shopping for Superstars on the free agent market in order to put himself in a position to win makes him look pathetic. I like the guy, I was at game 7 last year when he raised the title and I was cheering him on, but he needs to stop handling himself like such a b*tch. That's what people are going to remember about him, and that's a shame because he really is as talented a guy as there ever has been. I really don't think he has that true closer, ice in his veins, confidence that Jordan had though. That continues to be the factor that sets him below Jordan for me.

He's staying in Miami 1 more year then coming to the Lakers as a free agent, then in 2 years Durant will be joining the fun. Can I dream?

He's leaving, but the question is, where? I believe he could go back to the Cavaliers because they would promise him a bigger salary.

The NBA thread needs love and support. Y'all can have your fun talking about the man who is bound to get paid numbers higher than I can count to there. XD
