I got a few extra Jamies of ebay so I could use the jean shorts attire, and for a first swap I decided to do kickpads, I'm having trouble with getting the pin all the way through, anyone who has done this got any tips?

Pins can be the worst. I usually heat up the whole joint with a hairdryer and make sure that it's overall really soft. Then I push the pin in ever so carefully.

I saw your post on hair drier and it's been less messy than water and alot easier... the problem is the shorts make it hard to position the pin, and after I get one in I don't have enough room to play around to get it through the other side

When I have a problem as such, I often use a phillips head precision screwdriver (one of the small screwdrivers for eyeglasses and such). Don't use a flat head, it can cut into the pin too easily.
