I've been a huge fan of hers so I'll be sad to see her go.
She will be back.
I've said it before, if she doesn't have a full comeback she could easily do backstage skits every now and then. Sorta like how Ron Simmons does the 'Damn!' segment from time to time only her's would of course be 'Excuse Me' segments.

Yea, good stuff last night.... I'm glad they actually wrote her off in a storyline - and she didn't just disappear (like Teddy Long).
I loved little tributes to Eddie - "he taught me how to 'Lie, Cheat, Steal!'"
Over her years in WWE - she may have made the best use of self-humiliation comedy since Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.....

Can we just let it sink in that Vickie was in the WWE double the amount of time Eddie was?

Like Eddie, I didn't truly appreciate Vickie until it was almost too late. She drifted from annoying to brilliant naturally, and was obviously a hard working professional. For the most part her being Eddie's lady was irrelevant, and I thought she was truly her own woman. Tonight, however, was a fun send-off where she was able to remind us that she was the wife of one of the greatest wrestlers of all time AND a great personality in her own right.

She was one of the greatest Smackdown Gms ever and she could draw heat like no other.
A future Hall of Famer for sure

Vickie not only got over, she helped get other people over as well. In the social media age, WWE has had problems creating genuine heels. Fans tend to either cheer edgy "bad guys" or meet them with ambivalence. Vickie irritated and annoyed fans to the point that they were glad to see the babyfaces shut her up.
And when she laughed, you could hear echoes of the Joker or Skeletor in the sound. It was maniacal, and that's exactly how she intended it. Well done, Vickie, well done indeed.

Huge fan of Vickie right here. She always managed to entertain me and I'll certainly miss her on WWE TV.

I liked Vickie as a valet. I never really liked her as an authority figure. None the less, I'll miss Vickie. BTW, Stephanie is one of the greatest heels right now cause she was able to make Vickie into a babyface after being booed for so many years.

Last night gave me goosebumps. Especially her using Eddie's theme. She was a great heel. And you can tell she respected the business. Thank you Vickie

When she first started showing up on WWE TV I thought that she didn't stand a chance in hell, and it seemed more like a sympathy vote to have her along after Eddie's passing. But she shocked the hell out of me and to be quite frank was probably the most over heel in WWE in 2011. It's crazy to think but she was in WWE longer than Eddie was. She did an amazing job helping the careers of guys she managed like Edge, Swagger, and Ziggler and like stated there was nothing that she wouldn't do to that management wanted her to. Here's to you Vickie! Truly one of the most unexpected success stories of WWE and most professional people to ever walk through those doors.

She was one of the better heel managers that we've had in a long time. I'm gonna miss her, she did Eddy proud.

I'll miss Vickie. She truly was a team player who did anything the company asked of her, even if it was incredibly embarrassing. She was able to draw more heat than any heel in recent memory except maybe Muhammad Hassan. Vickie should definitely go to the Hall of Fame and I'll be looking forward to that.
Also, I'd prefer she go into the Hall of Fame before some of the Divas that they've been discussing for the Hall of Fame.

I know Ziggler got to a point where he needed to break away from her but Ziggler and Vickie together was awesome and really got him over as a heel. I think when they pushed into them having a relationship it made Ziggler look that much more sleazy as a heel. She's had some great comedy segments, and I give her credit for being subjected to all the ridiculous torment at the expense of Vince McMahon's seemingly atrocious sense of humor. Stephanie taking one for the team last night was great to see, and it was a pretty classic way to send Vickie out. I think she'll be missed honestly. X-Pac heat or not, she was the most over heel on the show at multiple stages of her time with WWE. Last night really felt more like a thank you than a firing, and that to me was great to see.

She became her own in WWE. This was a great send off for her. I had goosebumps when I heard Eddie's music. Thank you Vickie.

I'll mirror everyone else's sentiment. Who would have ever thought that this chubby wife of a deceased wrestler would have become more over than him. And don't fight me on that. Vickie was more over than Eddy ever was in the WWE. She was annoying, mean, and every other word you'd use to describe a heel in the world of pro. wrestling and she did it better than anyone in the last 15 years. You loved to hate Vickie and I'm willing to bet everything that every other heel in that locker room wishes they had a fraction of the heat she did with the fans. I don't see her coming back any time soon and I wouldn't want her to come back for a long time. Vickie did good.

Is she gone for good or was this a way to write her off for a while?
What am I missing to the story? Last night I knew she was GM of Smackdown and seemed to be OK with it.
