Maybe it's just me, but I still don't see how he was being mistreated. Because he didn't get to win the belt every night (except that time he did for over a year), and because WWE chose the bigger stars to main event PPVs instead of him. Something like that, anyway. Regardless... Punk taking his shitty performances home worked out best for Daniel Bryan and for The Shield. Punk seems happier away from wrestling, and wrestling's a bit better without him in it because he was only going to be putting in those same half-assed performances until July anyway.

When you hate doing something that you're passionate about, there's clearly something wrong.
The people that call Punk selfish are being exactly what they accuse him of.

Yeah totally it, not that he was burnt out or hurt. Cause you know, that's not what the article said or anything.

We will unfortunately keep spinning this until Punk himself comes forward and tells all, then we can just lay this crap to waste and let it be......

That means he was burnt out, your post about "oh he's mad cause he's not on top" had nothing to do with why he left. The man is hurt, he was phoning it in and still better than most of the roster.

I was answering marino's question about how Punk was "mistreated" and giving the reasons that the angry kids always used to give for how Punk was "mistreated."

I am still a fan of Punk, but the dudes a millionaire and never has to work another day in his life. I'll never feel bad for him, ever, no matter what reason he left.

Maybe it's just me, but I still don't see how he was being mistreated. Had he been buried and decided to walk, I'd most likely be backing him 100%. But he was always in a high profiled position and very seldom was forced to put others over. If he was burned out, then I'm sure WWE would have been more than willing to give him a break after WM much like they did last year. IMO there's no excuse to quit that close to Mania. I'm sure I'll be quoted and bitched at, but that's how I feel. You're not wrong. I just think that CM Punk wanted to be the number one guy which just wasn't going to happen. Like, yea you get a 434 reign as Champion, but you have to lose it to the Rock so there can be a once in a lifetime rematch. He didn't like that. I personally always thought it should have been a triple threat at Mania. But yea, he felt that he should be number 1 or at least 1A.
