Nah, plus if you're using the fact that Raw is on Mondays so they need rest you can also say Smackdown is on Fridays so they need rest too Smackdown is taped on Tuesdays. i meant the people watching need rest, not the superstars (i kinda typed it dumb, my bad)

Maybe NFL should put the Superbowl on Saturdays too. Staying up til 11pm is tough stuff on a Sunday

PPVs go off at like 10:45pm EST on Sundays...Who, under the age of 80, that has normal working hours (8-5/9-6) goes to bed before 11pm these days? My uncle, for example, has to be at work at 6:00 or 6:30 and works a half hour from where he lives. He also lives a half hour from me (in the other direction). So he gets from from pay per views around 11:30 when he has to be up around 5:00. I'm sure that experience is not unique. though even people who have to be at work at 8:00 are often in bed by 11:00 or twelve if they want their eight hours of sleep. As others have mentioned, Saturdays might be rough as people go out, though I don't think staying in once a months would hurt anyone, especially if you can set up a ppv party. Another option would be moving shows back to 7:00. That way people could get home and to bed at a reasonable hour.

Ehhh in a way it sounds cool, but like you mentioned that's a party day, so some people would go out instead of staying home, thus Sunday is better.

I agree, why not have PPV's on Saturday? I guess it's just tradition, like circumcision and birthday hats - they don't really serve a purpose, but we blindly continue to do it.

Yeah I would like PPVs to be on Saturdays. WWE PPVs always seem to fall on a Sunday where I should to go to sleep earlier.

WCW used to do some PPVs on Saturdays. I remember some of the early NWO Souled Out and Hog/Road Wilds were Saturday. They eventually moved them all to Sundays. Not sure how their ratings were though...

Think about it globally, though. For Australians, that's mid-Sunday, which isn't a bad time considering most people don't work on Sunday, but a lot of people are doing stuff.

Saturday PPV's would suit people in the UK doubtably better for timings and having work the next day.
