For me, it just feels like they are communicating the product to us as if we were children, along with constant marketing plugs.

If you want to hear good commentary, listen to Jim Ross from any very late 80s/very early 90s WCW PPV. Its like listening to Hockey or Boxing.

Cole was pretty good during the tenure with Taz and the first tenure with JBL.
Now he is just garbage. JBL is the only one I can stand because he actually does help get guys over.
Neither come anywhere close to JR at any point before he got sent to smackdown or Heenan or even Dusty Rhodes in WCW which is a personal favorite of mine that many people don't seem to care for.
The only person to come anywhere near what I consider the Elite of commentating (Solie, Ross, Heenan and Gorilla_ is Regal. But sadly they would rather leave him on NXT sporadically rather then replace of the hacks (Lawler and Cole) they have on the main shows.
It a shame Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips are on a main show and Regal is not.

JBL does nothing but crap all over 90% of the roster. And not in the way that the good heel commentators did in the past. I'd be good with Philips/Saxton/Regal on the main shows. Of course that leaves NXT with Alex Riley, Tensai and Renee Young, so maybe NXT needs the help more.

He talks crap because that's how he is, its not like hes over acting like Cole and Lawler on a weekly basis and JBL helps get people over constantly. Just look at the Wyatts as an example. He puts them over on a weekly basis while Cole and Lawler are more concerned with what they're wearing and how clean said attire is.....

Cole is hot garbage, one of the worst parts of the current show. Lawler is mailing it in weekly. JBL has moments of brilliance but those two drag him down. It's a travesty that JR lost his job to Cole. Regal should have that spot. Matt Striker was better. Booker T actually tried to put over the talent in the ring. There are so many better options available than what we are given.

He puts them over because he's the heel guy, but he's not doing anything to help get them over. That's insane. The Wyatts are over on their own because they're awesome. Cole and Lawler talking about stupid crap doesn't automatically mean JBL is any good. If praise of anyone is just "Well, at least they're better than _____!", then how good are they really?

Micheal Cole was at his worst during 2010-2011 and anyone would agree Michael 'I hate Daniel Bryan' Cole. Awful.

JBL is about the only one of the three I can stand and like others have said, Lawler and Cole more or less kill that. I am so freaking sick about hearing about the Network and the stupid app. I get it! You don't have to tell me 600 times per episode. Give it a rest, Vince. the whole freaking world knows about that by now and if they want them they will get them.
For crying out loud talk about the wrestling and the guys (or girls) that are breaking their backs in the ring every week.

I was able to watch some of the earlier stuff with Jim that I missed and it makes me an even bigger fan of his. I like professional wrestling to be treated like a sport. That aspect is what made me a fan.
