Hey guys, so leading up to WMXXX, I thought of a good intro/logo for the 'XXX' part (imo) and Im surprised WWE didn't pick up on doing something like this. So when it says WrestleMania (no roman numeral 'XXX' yet), they highlight the W and the M and they both slowly intertwine and overlap each other to create the XXX numeral part. Here is a rough visual i made in like 3 min so that you can see the basic idea.  I put the tiny black lines to show where the letters would stop after they came together. So pretty much, the M is kind of on top of the W where their middle peeks touch. I don't know if any others had an idea like this, but just thought I'd share lol To make this thread interesting though, have you ever had a good logo design that you felt WWE should have capitalized on? |

You don't get it? Or you just think I'm smoking crack? Lol I know its a weird topic, but I just wanted to share something cool (imo) that WWE could have done with the W and M in WrestleMania to make the XXX logo. It'd make more sense if instead of WrestleMania being one word across, they made it like Wrestle
ManiaAnd then have the W and M kind of slide over each other to make the XXX part. The W and M cant completely intertwine since that would make a XXXX logo. Like I said, because this isn't exactly an exciting thread, I wanted to know if anyone had any cool PPV font/design ideas that they think the WWE should have used instead of what they officially had. If that makes sense  |

Ha I don't understand why Im getting smart ass replies. I've been here for 7 years and I've seen FAR more stupid threads. I don't even think this thread is stupid, I'm simply showing you an font/symbol idea that would've been perfect for the 'XXX'. This is also a discussion for people who had creative PPV font/design ideas that the WWE did not capitalize on. I figured we haven't had a thread like this ever, even if it is "dumb". But regardless, discussion is fundamental on this site. I apologize if people think this is a stupid, we all can't be perfect lol.

I understand it but I'm not a big fan of it. 'WM' alone would look weird and adding the rest of text to it wouldn't look symmetrical and I'm a stickler for symmetry.

Don't worry. As a graphic designer I fully understand the concept and also think it has an element of brilliance to it. Works really well. I swear I thought I saw something similar to this on a shirt but it may have been something NOLA instead.
The only problem with this concept is that wrestlemania and it's branding is not as obvious as they like to make it. Really cool idea though.
