I know some don't like it but I think its great! He's come up with a whole new move set, played the character fabulously, and cut some funny promos. I haven't been this interested in Cody in years. Everything he's doing is compelling. I think its great. Anyone agree? Disagree?

Stardust sucks, obviously no one in the crowd tonight thought it was compelling.

Cody Rhodes has proven time and time again that no matter what character he's playing, he plays it well.. He is in all honesty one of the most dependable and consistent WWE superstars they've had in a long time.
He's earning a main event spot.. He hasn't stumbled too much, if at all.

Not.
A.
Fan.
There was a time I couldn't wait for Cody to turn face. Now that he has I realize I was very wrong. I apologize to all of you. Wish somebody would shatter his orbital bone again.

Not too thrilled with the character change, but I find it awesome he came up with a whole new move set in 2 weeks.

Unless it ends with Cody going full nasty heel with it, Stardust is going to kill Cody as a serious character

It's better than jobber Cody.

I can't stand the character. That said, I am a huge Cody fan, and he is proving how good he is in this terrible gimmick that the fans couldn't care less about. I hope this doesn't last long, and hope against hope that somebody is noticing this untapped talent. He was hot after last year's MITB, so he could have been a great face, but that was sort of derailed by the fired gimmick (and to a lesser extent being stuck in another tag team). Now on the precipice of the anticipated Goldust feud he becomes Stardust and gets put back in the same tag team that went as far as it could possibly go. If this isn't leading to a heel turn then I don't really know what the hell they are doing. As much as I hate to say it this would be a perfect opportunity for a heel Cody to take Barrett's spot.
It would be pretty easy for Cody to drive this Stardust characters back to creepy, psychotic heel Cody Rhodes in the end. Just sayin'.

So he thinks he looked grotesque with a broken nose but he doesn't think he looks ugly with red contacts, a gold and black suit that makes him look fat which he isn't, and ugly face paint with an almost shaven head? I guess WWE forgot about 2011-2012, but then again WWE will forget stuff that happened only a few months ago

Well I like it. Him blowing the glitter out of his hands gets me every time LOL.
And WWE doesn't do weird Goldust stuff anymore really, so I like that we're going out of the box. And frankly, everyone should be happy WWE is going out of the box a little.

I've even thought of the promos he could cut to explain this. Something about "What are the chances that the same injury strikes the same man twice?" And "It's fate" "This is who I am best. This is my true form" and all that cartoony stuff.

I'm enjoying it. I've always enjoyed the weirdness that is the Goldust character, so I'm glad they're finally bringing that back a little with The Dust Bros..
It's better than generic face jobber Cody. Personally, I would've rather seen him bring the Dashing or Grotesque characters back - but you play with the hand with you're dealt.
I read that if it doesn't get over by SummerSlam, that we'll end up getting a Cody/Goldy feud anyway, so don't start crapping yourselves thinking that Cody will be doing this character the rest of his career. Look on the bright side; he's on TV, and he's winning again.

He plays the character well and now him and Goldy fit well together, physically, as a team. It's something new for Cody and it's so much better than jobber Cody. If this gimmick gets over and he sticks with it, I think in the future years, people will consider it a classic. Stardust is an interesting name. He's a new generation Goldust and I think this way, he'll gain momentum from this run and then eventually, he'll ditch the character and progress himself into the mid/high card.
