I was listening to a podcast on LoP and they said that apparently the kind of surgery Bryan would need we would be lucky to see him back within a year. I could be wrong but what do you guys all think about this news we found out about Bryan?

It sucks if it does turn out to be the case. This was his year to be The Man before Roman Reigns was ready to take the company into the future. If Bryan's out a year, Reigns might be already established as The Man by the time he comes back.

Bryan might be done. He's still not getting strength back in one of his arms? Sounds like Edge and they forced him to go.

Really sucks for him, if he comes back in a year he'll be mid card forever.

It's ing terrible. The guy works his ass off to finally get to the top of the mountain, and it crumbles under him. If he never ends up making back to being the champion, it may go down as the saddest "what could've been" story of all-time.

How did he injure himself so badly? i dont really know if there was one key moment when it happened. but the years of physical performances cant really help. im surprised he still performed the flying headbutt up until this scenario.

How did he injure himself so badly? Wear and tear. Stupid moves like the missile dropkick and diving headbutt didn't help, and they weren't even the moves people cared about. He should have eliminated that stuff from his act back when he had that stinger a year ago and Triple H had his match stopped. If/when he comes back, he should be a lot more sensible.

Yeah I didn't think that I'd heard that anyone had injured him. Weird that he's suddenly got so bad, but I guess everyone has a breaking point. He's a solid hand so hopefully he can come back at some point.

Bryan being forced to retire would be heartbreaking. I understand that things like this happen in professional wrestling, but , man. This is bullsh*t.

I hope forced retirement doesn't happen either. That is just the worst case scenario.
However, having continued neck problems and loss of strength/feeling even after a surgery is very bad.

Well this is bad news as I don't see him return to the top. I may be wrong but it will be fun to watch it play out that's for sure. Maybe he could still have one more run.

I have said for a while now that his reckless wrestling style was going to hurt someone. Even if he comes back he will probably need change his style

So I guess it's safe to say the Yes movement and The Daniel Bryan bandwagon crashed here?
You guys are way to negative. He won't get pushed to the mid card if he returns a year later. I don't expect him to get out right into the title picture when he returns, but he has earned his main event status, and I'm sure that's where he will stay. Asking as he doesn't get the Edge treatment!

If he retires, I will cry forever. He never got to finish his Championship Story.

I'm positive he will return, but I think Reigns will be the star then.
