What would you say are some really well put together feuds of the PG era? My number one is orton and Barrett from 2011-2012. They had great chemistry in the ring, and performed high quality matches. Most recently I really liked the shield vs evolution feud. They had some great matches, and it really brought the best out of each superstars. You?

The most interesting was Punk vs. Cena heading into MITB 2011 by far. It was the first time in awhile that I was genuinely excited for something that wwe had to offer.
Anything that Cena and Orton did together was terribly boring. I think the Nexus angle was cool at first....then they got buried.

Daniel Bryan vs The Authority Is easily my number one. They built it up to where people actually cared what Bryan was doing each night.

Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority Just cause of how sweet the payoff was and it happened at one of the biggest and most memorable WrestleManias of all time. Nearly everyone lost hope saying Bryan wasn't getting his payoff, but he did and it was a classic story of the underdog finally overcoming the odds. Now what happened when he was champion is a different story... Triple H vs. Randy Orton The build to the match at WM 25 was great. Everything was played perfectly...up until the actual match. I was expecting a a straight up brawl but instead we had a stupid DQ Rule that restricted any and all brutality in the actual match. Besides that, the feud itself was good. John Cena vs. CM Punk This was a HOT summer angle that everyone was talking about. Wrestling was pretty "meh" up until this point where I wasn't really paying attention to it until they drew me back in after Punk's Pipebomb promo. They had a great match at MITB, but it kinda went downhill after that. Edge vs. The Undertaker I think they were full PG when this was going on, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Their matches alone were incredible let alone the actual story between these two. The HIAC Match at SummerSlam is one of my favorite cell matches and it didn't even have blood in it! Ironic huh... Or course I can't name them all, but those were the ones that popped into my head. I'm looking forward to more great feuds in the future.

Punk v. Cena leading to MITB 2011 - My personal favorite.
Bryan v. The Authority - This feud will go down as this generations Austin v. McMahon, easily
Punk v. Hardy - At the time, this was meant to be.
Jericho v. Punk
HBK v. Jericho - Easily some of their best work in both careers.
I'll add more if I think of anymore. Those are off the top of my head.

I would say the last few years have gone:
2008 - HBK vs Chris Jericho
2009 - CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy
2010 - HBK vs Undertaker
2011 - CM Punk vs John Cena
2012 - The Rock vs John Cena
2013 - CM Punk vs Paul Heyman
This easily comes down to CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy or HBK vs Chris Jericho for me. I don't think anything in recent memory even comes close to those feuds for me. Ambrose and Rollins are working on it right now but the feud has to play out first.

Shawn vs Jericho WWE went PG in July 08 so towards the end of their feud, so just the HIAC match happened after the 'PG era' began.

I'd also toss in Cena v Rock I, I loved the year long build and hadn't been that excited for a match since Punk/Cena. Honorable mention as a mini feud but all the Wyatt/Shield encounters, their match at Elimination Chamber should have been saved for Mania.

The buildup was just a bunch of nonsense trash-talking. I get that it was all they were able to do for the feud but after awhile it was complete overkill. By the time there was a year build-up, I just wanted the damn thing to be over with. Don't even get me started on the rematch. Freaking awful.

I do agree that some of the promos and what not were a little overkill but like you said it's all they were able to do. However, I completely bought into the whole "once in a lifetime, icon v icon, era v era, etc". During some of the video packages it made me realize how "monumental" this match was going to be given how vital both of these guys were to the product during their given reigns. In hindsight it was all for nothing but at the time they hooked me.
