sorry guys i looked in faqs and couldnt find it how do you remove string when you edit it, ive got photoshop and corel paintshop but im still stuck plz help

Some people use the smudge tool. When I removed stuff, I just go around the area, get the color with the color dropped and then use it like that.

Smudging it's quicker for me but I use GIMP.
