I'm getting a Jakks vibe with this giant torso, I'll wait to see it in person before I make the call though. Either way they listened to collectors with the red gear, I'm really hoping for some classic tag belts to go with them, although I think its a little too optimistic.

D'oh, could've used those tag titles, they would've been a perfect compliment. They'll still be great regardless. Is it because you're releasing them in an elite classic baf this year? /fever dream I'm getting a Jakks vibe with this giant torso, I'll wait to see it in person before I make the call though. Either way they listened to collectors with the red gear, I'm really hoping for some classic tag belts to go with them, although I think its a little too optimistic. It's only a little wider than the old one.

Didn't see the info on the tag titles, thanks for the heads up. Here's hoping they re-relase them down the line with another tag team

I understand what mattel is saying about the con, but you can't blame us for the leaks...hold the actual person leaking accountable

Finally we get LOD in their signature attire. I know Jakks did the CSTT1 figures, but they had gold in the design and didn't have the right sort of boots. Still good figures, but now it feels like we have that definitive LOD at last. I don't mind the lack of tag belts since the shoulder pads (and armguards?) are a major part of their whole presence. Hopefully they find a marketable team in the near future to give the tag belts to.

Besides, it's not like we're getting leaks of figures that won't be released for months, the Con is in late july and Elite 30 is supposed to come out in august, so I'm hoping a wave due out in a month is not their big reveal.

I won't complain about what we will see at Comic Con. However, I will complain a little bit about how the classic tag belts have yet to have a retail release. Or how the WWE title during the most popular era (attitude era) in wrestling history has only had a 'basic' release. (I think) The AE was with the RSC Austin too but that's also still not a mass release. And it's such a great title Yeah, I was just talking mass release, I should have been more specific. To your point, it is a great belt. To the collectors that grew up and got hooked on wrestling during the Attitude era, that is 'their' WWE world title belt. It's shameful that it hasn't had a vac metal, retail release. I got hooked during the 80's, so the winged eagle belt is 'my WWE championship' and that has been released multiple times. It's only fair to the younger collectors, that they get multiple retail shots at 'their championship'.

LOVE THE DETAILED WAISTBAND ON THEIR TRUNKS if u recall they wore trunks over their tights like many other workers back then when the material was thinner more spandex and less lycra...
anywhoo love it, i know we are getting shoulder pads, if i could force mattel to add another accessory it would be entrance wrist gauntlets... even tho i want those darn classic TAG TITLE BELTS that were with Arn & Tully.. i prefer to get them with a different team, Nasty Boys would need long coats and either Jimmy Hart Helmet or Bullhorn, Dudleys need a table (tna), Rockers 1990 could get the belts which would be awesome since they won them and were penciled in to hold them until for months ( google that youngsters, darn ropes, HBK " just feed us") a must watch!! i just imagine an awesome legends two pack with the colored elite tag belts... i dont see why we cant get a flashback battle pack of soooo many teams with the elite belts....
ATTENTION MATTEL none of us wants ur sad excuse for titles in basic series besides young children who dont know the difference, ie me in 1990, i loved my WWF winged eagle came with the hasbro ring, but always used galoob wcw belts for ic & tag since hasbro forgot about the workhorse title.!
i decided to keep my JAKKS version of Ric Flair because A. He blends in with Mattel size figures since i display him with robe closed and mic & big gold belt (rsc excl same robe design as mattel) B. i prefer his whooo headscan it looks great with a microphone close to his mouth, and love the red boots which remind me more of his 91-93 WWF run..
now with LEGION OF DOOM... i think i'll be selling my jakks versions because i love what i have seen, HATE the jakks boots and tights .. i display, no play, only legends 87-98 ish...
anyone else agree the jakks rsc excl flair i have is better for display than the mattel or atleast not worth the $$ considering i do not play, and prefer his wwf memories and that blue screams sting, luger, vader, steamboat...even though im sure he rocked it in the E...
what about LOD... now i know the Jakks classic figs r much bigger than mattel, but i always loved my jakks HAWK & ANIMAL being more jacked than my mattel Demolition since in real life when they met, it looked like smash only ate @ smashburger and drank beer while ax was sad and crush was tall with boobs and flab.... as cool as Demo was... come one remember the LOD drank the juice, ate the sauce, cena syrup, and they looked awesome!!! just wish Hawk didnt let his demons take control we lost him too young.... can u imagine seeing them both together going into HOF...
no team deserves it more overall... harts, rockers, dudleys, E&C, hardys, nastys come close

Being as it's probably a Mattel employee who has the access to figures that aren't out yet Well, MDT's quote was not blaming us for the leak, just a basic cease and desist on the complaining we will do when all these leaked figures are all the new things we see at the Con. As for the leaks themselves, items walk out of warehouses overseas all the time. Technically, those associates don't work for Mattel, as they work on several toy company's lines that have schedules at different times. And when they're making around 40 cents a day, some of them try and make some money on the side.

I kinda recall mattel saying that when they produced the old tag belts with big show, wwe didn't want them being made, but they were able to get them out anyway. I remember them saying it'd be the only time they would be released.
Then again, were big shows belts different from the arn/tully ones? I honestly don't remember, they slipped by me :/
Either way, just make them. Hopefully with the natural disasters one day!

And I'm sure the best is yet to come (hopefully Hogan, Hall, Sting as everyone is hoping) I'm personally keeping my fingers crossed for a Doink :-)
