I'm sure a guy like Steiner, although he portrays a crazy, unintelligent character invested his money well. It's tough to ask someone who is used to six figure deals to signed a $10,000 a year deal to basically own their image. Both Steiners made a lot of money in their careers and had a lot of smart investments. Plus Scott is still very active on the independent scene where he makes good money. The Legends deals are structured pretty badly and it's basically just WWE getting a ton of perks with the wrestlers getting peanuts. It's okay for some guys who need the money or don't use their likeness to leverage other benefits, but for anyone who doesn't fit into that small area, it's a bad deal. Yes sir, that's exactly what I was saying. The Steiners always struck me as intelligent guys in real life who made quite a bit of money.

Did Scott just inadvertently announce he is in the new video game?

Well there ya go! Spit in the face of adult collectors because you're a "grown ass man". Tell that to RVD, Ryder, Hawkins, Hogan, and I'm sure... Many many more. Sorry, that didn't impress me and made me think lesser of him You know, I would think less of him too except I can see where he is coming from. He is an old school guy. He came up through college sports and went on to a job that required lots of travel and lots of physical hardships. So I can see where he wouldnt have had time to pay attention to toys. Now where I do think ill of him is the way he responded. He seemed offended to be asked. He could have been mature or professional and simply said no. It kind of speaks for him as a person. Either he was having a bad day and was upset, which this happens to everyone from time to time..... OR.... he is pretty immature and not very professional. And to think many of us, myself included, have been wanting an 80's/90's Scott to match his brother form the Jakks release.

Keep in mind, based on what Scott Hall told me face to face, they don't have to sign a legends deal to get a figure. A simple merchandise deal can lead to that, so there's still a chance. Hall told me he didn't sign any legends deal, and look what we saw at sdcc. I think Lita is on her way too.

Scott's a jerk, but I still want figures of the Steiners as they are one of me favorite teams. They have to be early 90s style though, I don't care about Big Papa Pump. On a side not,e I thought he had lost mass for a second, then I realized it was just the tattoo making half his arm blend in to the background.

Those tattoos on Steiner are hideous. Still, he could crack my skull like a walnut.

I want a year 2000 Scott Steiner(black shorts with Superman S) and of course WWF Steiner brothers.
Its hard to believe my Hasbro Steiner's are the only action figure versions of them out there as a team. Galoob's aren't action figures and Toybiz didn't do them as a team....only nWo Scott

Well it appears Scott's greatest enemy is still the English language. And my god, the tattoos are awful looking!
I would much rather have a Rick & Scott set than a BPP Steiner. When he was teaming with Rick I loved him, but solo he stunk IMO. But it appears we aren't getting either.

That was hilarious in a way, Classic Steiner...'not worth the paper it's written on' was interesting though...

That was hilarious in a way, Classic Steiner...'not worth the paper it's written on' was interesting though... Really, it makes sence. I mean, sign a legends deal for x amount of years, to have maybe 1 or 2 figures made. Royalties off one figure couldn't be much. Look at Rikishi, 1 figure. Vader now has 2. So many Legends only end up with one figure on the shelf, so I could see it being " unworthy". Still, I need a WCW Steiner and the WWF Tag Team.

What a douche. It doesn't matter if you're a grown ass man, Steiner. I would never insult someone's hobby. Hobbies keep people sane, and happy. That's rude and uncalled for.

Steiner could easily sign a merchandising deal directly with Mattel, which is what he did for the game.
And seriously, his response was perfect. I laughed my ass off at him. Just Scott being Scott. He definitely doesn't understand the concept of collecting or CC in general. I met him last month at Supercon, which was my second time meeting him since I met him once in 09 with TNA. He was friendly both times. He seems pretty appreciative of his fans but he just kind of seems like a quiet, pretty simple, kind of guy away from the ring. Conversely, I met Nash the same day and he's the extrovert chatter box, who gets/enjoys the entire idea of the Comic Con scene. I think it's just Scott's personality and not anything to get upset over.
Desperately hoping we get his figure though. Anything 00-01 is going to be a smash imo.

"Wen I'm talkin ta all dis white trash out here I gotta Dum myself down" Yeah that interview sucked, those tattoos are freaking awful...but I'm still going to commission @theoneandonly1979 for a set of his AMAZING Steiner brothers with his custom head sculpts.

I still want an nWo version of BPP, and a set of early 90's Steiner Bros. Maybe someday.

Make no mistake, he's an absolute piece of trash.

Action figures are more of an 80s thing. Wrestling figures didn't even exist until Scott was probably in college.
The Midnite Rockers used to plan their matches using action figures, in the AWA
