I'm confused what people were expecting from Batista. MDT said a long time ago that he wouldn't have updated boots. just my opinion...but it looks more like casper smart than batista, but what can you do again, only my opinion, but Jakks has Mattel's number in the Luger & LOD category...and Jake too if you count CSDA |

I'm so excited for my Luger & LOD to get here I plan on buying a bigger shelf soon. That way all 3 can have "prime real estate".

It really sucks that they used the same scan on LOD as they did for the Road Warriors. Sure they're the same guys and all, but couldn't they've given Hawk a sculpt with his tongue sticking out or a nasty snarl? And in 14 pages of "LOD are perfect", nobody has mentioned that Animal never had a goatee in that era of LOD. Always just the mustache.
Ok Mattel we've got the NWA and Red versions. Now bring on the silver, blue, skulls on pads, and LOD 2000.

Xavier Woods and LOD for me. Those figures are just top notch, especially Woods. The headscan is spot on.
Disappointed in the Luger figure as I feel the hair is too long. I know he had the long hair towards the end of his run and in WCW but I wanted it to represent his time at the top and not when he was teaming with Bulldog.
Baristas figure is okay but it looks a bit weird. I won't be picking it up but I'm not mad that they made this version. I hope we get an Elite Blue-Tista with black beard and hair soon though. I'll wait out for that.

Yes indeed he is an official release.when I wrote that post before sdcc I was just hoping Mattel would floor us all with announcements of figures in line ups... They didn't let us down im in the same boat.
