That people pay thousands for wedding gowns My Wife's dress ended up costing me 3000 dollars. I remember thinking WTF!?! I always bring it up just cause I thought it was so intellectually- disabled to spend that much on a dress you're only going to wear once. What blows my mind is how people think Breaking Bad was a good show. My cousin's was $5,000 if I am not mistaken

How cool video games look today. N64 was awesome in 1999 when I was 4, but it looks AMAZING now on the current gen(8th).

The fact that we only use 10% of our brain. Well, start picking up the pieces, because that's an urban myth.

How common sense isn't so common. I think a major factor of that is how readily available information is these days. Common sense comes from the ability to actually think rationally and independently, and most people are so used to going straight to Google rather than thinking out a problem, their common sense is stunted. It's just critical thinking, people. It's the most useful thing to have.

The fact that we only use 10% of our brain. We use all of it, but only 10% at any given time as we access different parts of it for different things. But it is amazing just how much information we can put in there and maybe even forget about something for decades before the memory is triggered again.
