So it ruined your day but you still managed to enjoy a nice piece of chocolate from the candy store? Just barely All I could think of the whole day was how I should have handled the situation better. Either by knocking the er on his ass or by calling the police and following him until they showed up. I could've done so much better. But in my defense I was caught completely off guard. At least I'll know how to react if something like that occurs again.

So.... he wasn't paying attention and walked into you....... If you were paying attention why did you not move out of his way, so nothing would happen? There was no space on my side to move, if I moved I'd have walked directly into a wall whereas he had PLENTY of room to step to the side. I think he was just looking for a fight to be honest. I personally would have totally stopped walking.. stood straight up.. let him walk right into me. Then simply said.. excuse you..

Probably wouldn't have made a difference, like I said this guy definitely seemed like he was looking for a fight. Typical bully. Probably went home and beat up his wife or something(if he even has one).

I have had tons of confrontations that ruined my whole day. I remember the night I broke up with my ex. Granted it was over the phone but I still constitute it as such. After I broke up with her, it ruined the entire next day for me. I didn't fully shake off the break up till a few days later. I can't ever go through that again. To this day, I have been single since August 27th, 2006. I understand where you're coming from I still remember the days after me and my ex's broke up it's never a good feeling and it usually feels weird for me throughout the days. It has been almost 2 years now since I've been in a relationship as of right now I'm currently talking to this girl who I met already twice and only thing is she is extremely busy and yet doesn't know if she wants to be official with me cuz she likes someone else who happens to live far -.- . Even though we have kissed, right now I feel like just calling it off and moving on, it's definintly going to be hard for me to tell her in person though. Seems you have better luck with women than I do. I wish you luck with any future long-term relationships you have.

Not really every relationship I've been in has been pretty bad, it's never me it's usually always the girl. And thanks I hope we both find a good woman someday.

I can tell you the vast majority of women in NYC are stuck up and fake. I have a better chance going to Ireland to meet a good woman.

I've been pretty good with letting things roll off my shoulders and not getting mad at anyone. But a few days ago I was at work (I work retail) working the self-checkouts. And this guy rode up in one of those motorized carts (also on his phone), and he was buying a good amount of alcohol. He scanned the first can of beer and I went over there to verify with the machine he was old enough. As I was walking away he asked me if I could lift the rest of his alcohol out of the cart, and I said sure, because he was in the cart. So I put everything up so he could scan it and walked away again to check on everyone else. And when I looked back at him he was putting everything back in the motorized cart with only paying for the one beer. And as he drove off I asked him if he still wanted everything else he didn't pay for, and he told me that he thought I scanned everything for him and which I told him I didn't, he just asked me to help get them out of the cart. He got mad and went to a smaller self-checkout lane and asked me to scan everything (which I did because I wanted him out of the store asap) and then he handed me the money instead of giving it to the machine himself.
After he finally left, it turns out he didn't need the motorized cart at all, he was just lazy and didn't want to walk. So this black guy in his mid-thirties got into a motorized cart he didn't need, came through the SELF-checkout, tried to 'drive off" with $20 worth of beer and then got mad had me scan his stuff and put his money in the machine all while being on his phone and being a huge lazy asshat. That completely ruined my day with how pathetic and disrespectful that guy was.

I haven't really had confrontations, I'm just a really laid back person. The rare time someone has started anything with me I just shrugged it off and went on my merry way. I do occasionally get things that stick with me for an hour or so though but to hell with them! I work at Subway so yeah, I have confrontations that ruin my day most of the time. Bit off topic, but why so subway people get so confused when I order my own personal sub instead of one on the menu?

Several times. I have a bad temper when I'm really pissed off. Luckily I've gotten a little smarter with age so I don't go out of my way looking for fights or anything. I'll talk sh*t if I'm right, and I'm really quick witted so I always win a verbal exchange.
It's too dangerous out there to be fighting or looking for trouble these days.

I try staying out of trouble as much I can, but there was this one time when I was in 6th grade where me and my friend were arguing. I can't remember what me and my friend were arguing about, but I remember I tried to end the conversation and walk away, but he kept getting in my way. As a result of him getting in my way, I pushed him to the side so I could get to where I need to, and he just decks me right in the nose, causing me to bleed. I was about to fight him back but some 8th graders at the time who were around us, held us both back right after he attacked me. That whole little confrontation left a bad taste in my mouth that day.

I've been in my fare share of fights. I understand if your "shy" or "anti fighting" but there comes a time in everyone's life when they have to get physical. To me, the guy sounds like he was having a shitty day. But, you both walked in to eachother. If you wanted no trouble, you should have moved for him. My first fight real fight was in 7th grade when some kid went through my bag during class while I went to the bathroom. When I came in, I saw my VHS of The WWF European show where Jaquline gets her top ripped off ( I wanted to show a friend after school). I lost it. " Why the is my stuff on your desk when it was in my bag?" She said ," It was laying on the floor!" I looked at the kid next to my desk, and asked him why he went through my stuff. He got all defensive ," yea I went through it, it's not my fault you have gay wrestling in your bag ... You like to see guys touch eachother?"... I flipped. I told him to stand up, and I'd beat his ass for going through my shit. He stood up, and I wasn't going to let him out of his chair, I hit him twice in the face, once in the nose, and once in the jaw. Broke his nose, and had him rattled in his chair. I told him to get up, and he sayed " you!" And was whimpering. " GET UP!" He said "no man... I'm good" So I said " go through my stuff again, this will happen. Talk crapabout my interests, this will happen..." Then, because I'm an bunghole, I pushed him over in his desk. He was stuck... I grabbed my refferal from the teacher, and my VHS and spent the next week in detention and a Saturday detention. From that day forward, my nickname was born... JayRod. I hate bully's. Since then, I stood up to each of them. After 9/11 my Arabic friend caught a lot of crapin school. I had to fight for him a lot. If people couldn't stand up for themselves, I always tried to show them why it was important. I started my own little version of the APA in middle school and high school. I bullied Bully's. Good times. Of course at 26 married, with 2 kids , I stay away from that as much as I can. But even in the oil feild, people always want to be "Top Dog!"

jayrod2009, your story reminds me of a time back in my final months of high school. This dude was trying to start **** with me. What I did was as a result, I slapped him so hard in the face, his face got red. I later found out people asked him how did that happened and he never gave anybody a definitive reason why. I haven't seen him since I graduated in 2007. I did have him as a "friend" on Facebook. I have since gotten rid of my Facebook page. JokerFC, you know damn well I'll take you up on your offer. I'd be in heaven if I ever dated a pure Irish woman.
