I've got a question that I don't think I've ever heard the answer to, or may have forgotten.
Does anyone know why Classic Superstars series 1 Shawn Michaels and Triple H were the only ones in the line with an actual photo of the wrestler on the side of the box instead of a picture of the figure? I know both guys were currently still active with WWE at the time, but so was Undertaker. Undertakers box has a picture of the figure on the side.
I wish they would have done that with all of the figures. It would be cool to have an actual picture of the wrestler in that attire on the box to see how much the figure looks like them.

I have wondered this too. Agree that it would have been better to have real pictures as opposed to a photo of the figure. I mean i don't need a picture of the figure on the box. I can see the figure in the box.

Exactly. The figure is right there. We can see it.

I've always wondered this and Jeremy never answered it, but I really think that they originally were going to do an actual picture and that HHH and Shawn were the first ones produced so thats why those are like that.
However, after those 2 were already made, in typical Jakks fashion .. They made the change and cheaped out on doing that, so they just threw the proto pic on there and called it a day.
That's what I think happened anyways.
