100% honest answer is I'd rather have him not be on TV so if they ever change their mind and want to actually push him he could show up and no one would ever remember him. At the point he is now, he'll never be anything more than the Brooklyn Brawler. No, everyone that won the SmackDown case would lose until they won, losing his cash in to an injured Cena is what ruined his credibility. What the hell would you call this? No one in WWE history has ever gone from championship contender to playing dress up and jobbing in 20 seconds every week. I don't know if I'd call him a Championship contender. Yea, he held the briefcase so technically he was a "contender" but he was never a guy who sniffed the title. He won the briefcase while part of a tag team and had a mid-card feud with Cody Rhodes. I was just basing it off of the fact that he had the case and could potentially cash in on someone like Del Rio and have a decent program. I could have seen him as a WHC.

A feud with Cena could save him.

So if right now you had no choice but to either have Sandow job every week or stay backstage at catering like guys like Ryder is right now, you would rather have Sandow stay off TV? I know what your answer is gonna be, "NO, I'd rather have Sandow be in the main event right now". Well, the only two choices right now is to have Sandow job with this comedy gimmick or have him off TV backstage, so I don't think Sandow is complaining right now about having to job on TV every week cause at least he's getting TV time. I get it, I also rather have Sandow get a push, not a huge push, but at least at the Intercontinental/United States Title level, but I'd rather see him on TV jobbing than off TV. Like I said, that's a bigger burial in my book. 100% honest answer is I'd rather have him not be on TV so if they ever change their mind and want to actually push him he could show up and no one would ever remember him. At the point he is now, he'll never be anything more than the Brooklyn Brawler. Winning that briefcase was the worst thing to happen to him. After that, he started losing all the time. No, everyone that won the SmackDown case would lose until they won, losing his cash in to an injured Cena is what ruined his credibility. People need to refrain from using the term "buried" until they actually know when and how to use it. What the hell would you call this? No one in WWE history has ever gone from championship contender to playing dress up and jobbing in 20 seconds every week. He's getting tv time EVERY week. I would call that a steady job.

A feud with Cena could save him. That's what got him where he is. Let me tell you how the redo of the feud goes, Cena wins every match and dominates every segment. @randy Marsh, that's bullcrap and you know it. He's ruined forever. He gets the same pay if he sits on his ass in the back without embarrassing himself.

He's on TV, it could be worse. Ya and I think it's all about attitude. If he has a sense of humor about his gimmick, he could be having fun with it.

if it is true that there are going to be more cuts later this week, then i feel Sandow is going to be amongst the names who will get the ax.

And to think at one time or another Sandow he was considered to be a future World Heavyweight Champion considering he had Money in the Bank but he made the stupid mistake of cashing in his briefcase on Cena which ultimately was the beginning of the end for him

I remember a couple of years ago he was my favourite. My buddy was getting into wrestling and I told him, THIS is the guy, Damien Sandow, who is the one to watch. I totally saw him as a top guy (in a Sheamus type position) by now. I have no idea what happened.
You have to think though. A) WWE clearly do like him. He's on TV every week pretty much without fail, and they trust him enough to give him mic time. That's a lot more that many other guys are getting. B) He may well enjoy it. Look at Santino. He was never going to main event Mania, but the guy loved his character and was at a lot less risk (both career wise and physically) than pretty much everyone else on the roster.
Heck with Santino Marella out, I reckon Damien is going to be the next guy in that role. For all we know he's happy doing what he's doing, it sure looks like he's having fun.

Damien has talent. It's a shame. I remember when I would get excited for his smart array of words and his entertaining matches. Now he's the new Zack Ryder.

Err...to get buried at all, you kinda have to be getting TV time. Definition from Wiki: I'd say that pretty much describes Sandow's current situation perfectly.

Definition from Wiki: I'd say that pretty much describes Sandow's current situation perfectly. Sandow's not being buried though. He seems to be in a good relationship with management. He doesn't have an unpopular gimmick. His tv spot is one that a lot of members on here look forward to. Sandow is being used to put people over, not buried.
