Have you ever had a Mattel figure that won't turn at the waist? Well just this week I took a look at my WrestleMania 30 elite Shawn Michaels that had this problem when out of frustration I forced the figure to turn then...BOOM.. though it did require strength the waist of the figure began to turn like a normal elite and it wasn't loose or anything of that nature so i tried the same method on my e23 undertaker but it wouldn't budge an inch i may need to heat it up but even though Shawn Michaels made it safe I am still a little worried if undertaker would snap in half if i force it to much.

Try running the figure under some warm water for a few minutes. Then try it again.

place a sharp blade (X-Acto blade or boxcutter) and cut in the seams of where the torso and crotch piece meets

Does anybody know a way to fix a loose waist. I've noticed this on some of the newer figures I've been buying and it's irritating.

My Flair had a stuck waist, and the old hot water trick worked perfectly. I would recommend trying that before you force anything and snap a fig in half.

I put one or two drops of super glue inthe seam between the waist and crotch and just turned it a few times until the glue dries so the glue wouldn't bind it in place. My new Kofi and Gunn elite had this problem.

so you twisted the waist by applying slight pressure? Man why didn't I think of that, you always get the best ideas!

My last order from ringside had loose waists, all of the battle packs (Los matadors, cody and goldy, Ryback and punk). My fix is take the plastic bands from the battle packs that are usually securing the arms and legs in the package and insert them in the waist and wrap it once around. It is seriously the coolest fix for a loose waist and you don't have to worry about glue.

Do we know why this happens? Does some of they're glue drip down or something and it gets stuck?
