Fire Promoter is supposed to be out today. Anyone not at work for the next 6 hours please confirm or deny that it is available. I've barely played waiting for this mode since all there has been was exhibition and young boy mode, this should satiate my long unsatisfied GM Mode appetite.

store.steampowered.com/app/1037890/Fire_Pro_Wrestling_World__Fighting_Road_2017_NJPW_Junior_Heavyweight_Championship/Jyushin Thunder Liger Taiji Ishimori SHO YOH Tiger Mask Jado Shota Umino Ren Narita Will Ospreay Marty Scurll Rocky Romero Dragon Lee Beretta No Yujiro Takahashi even though he was previously announced, guess they replaced him with Ishimori? Pretty cool though that Scurll made the cut and that it's coming out next week, I was expecting a later release, like around BOSJ. Fire Promoter is supposed to be out today. Anyone not at work for the next 6 hours please confirm or deny that it is available. I've barely played waiting for this mode since all there has been was exhibition and young boy mode, this should satiate my long unsatisfied GM Mode appetite. I got it when it came out, pretty neat mode, I've got a current save (AEW) and ECW from 2000. It's obvious that it's intended for current rosters, because I'm in year 2 on the latter save, and tons of guys have retired already, even Terry Funk!

After watching a little bit of nL playing the Fire Promoter mode, I'm interested in purchasing Fire Pro World. I wouldn't mind some outside opinions to suggest whether the mode is for me or not. Waiting for the game to be in a Steam sale, so I'm guessing I've got plenty of time.
For me, I always liked the idea of EWR, and I have tried playing it on multiple occasions. But I've always found that in EWR there is way, way, way too much micromanagement, with the player having to keep on top of hundreds of different things each week. Is Fire Pro Promoter the same, or is it far less intensive? Because that's really what I'm looking for here. Something along the lines of EWR in terms of running your own company, but made much more streamlined and with much less micromanagement.

Is Fire Pro Promoter the same, or is it far less intensive? Because that's really what I'm looking for here. Something along the lines of EWR in terms of running your own company, but made much more streamlined and with much less micromanagement. So, I don't know if you've gotten any information about this game elsewhere, such as Reddit or other message boards for example. But, I'm gonna do my best to talk about the game itself, as well as the promoter mode. The thing is, I believe there is a lot of blind praise for the Fire Pro series. It's a great series and World is a really strong game, but I think people overlook at lot of flaws in the games, as well as ignoring that people may not like how bare bones the game is. I'm not sure if you've ever played Returns or any other games in the series, so if you have, you'll know what they're about. So, if you have, you can ignore this brief little about the game. The Fire Pro games, World in particular, is a strong game for capturing the in ring aspects of pro wrestling. They have a strong logic system that allows wrestlers to behave in a certain way, which you can use to program your created wrestlers to wrestle like they do in real life. So guys like Sting would go for certain combos, for example, he might taunt before a Stinger Splash or know to follow up a Scorpion Death Drop with the Scorpion Death Lock. But, it lacks in a lot of features, there's a few gimmick matches, but it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles like the WWE games, which isn't a turn off, but you should know what you're getting into. It's a game where you need to learn the controls, how it plays, and more before you master it and that may turn people off. It's a complex game and you have to approach it differently than your yearly WWE release. Now, if you've played previous installments, let's talk about the Promoter mode. I haven't pumped that much time into it yet, so someone else may have more info and insight, but I did play a bit of the same mode in the Game Boy version. This is a slightly updated version of that. And it's fun, but there are some things that it has against it. The good is, the mode allows you to manage a promotion, compete against other promotions, and try to grow your company across the board. Hiring people, making merchandise, selling out bigger arenas, and so much more. The thing is, for you to turn this into something like Universe Mode, where you have various promotions competing against each other, well that's the first obstacle. As you'll have to really put the time into downloading the wrestlers, creating the promotions in the game, making stables, etc, etc. It's not like that'll take you hours, but you'll have to put some time into really customizing the game to your liking. But that's the least of the issues I have, besides the more wrestlers you have, the more fun you can have with both the mode and the other exhibition modes. The thing is, in terms of really immersing yourself in the game and creating say, WWE or whatever your preferred choice of promotion is,it only goes so far as the name and wrestlers. But, since you're playing with Steam, there's probably mods for this, but on console, you can't change the rings used for your promotion, meaning you use a default ring and if you like to play or watch matches, it does take you out of it a bit, trying to watch an NWA show with classic wrestlers, only to see them in a default, generic ring. Same with belts, you can't change belts to my knowledge, but again, on PC, there's probably mods. But I'm stuck with a World title, tag title, cruiserweight, six man, and six man cruiserweight belts. WWE doesn't have the last two, which takes away from an authentic experience. Some may not see that as a big deal, since you don't have to use those belts, but I think it's a bit of a knock against it. You can change how many guys your promotion starts with, but even if you download 100 wrestlers for a promotion, you still max out at like 25 or something and have to sign the rest. It's not bad, but you can only try to sign one person a month and if that fails, you don't get a redo. Some people may like that, as it adds some challenge and strategy to the game, but I think it's a poor decision. There's also an issue I ran into, where if you try to do a cross promotion show and they book a match for a cruiserweight title, if you don't have a wrestler in that weight class, you're stuck and can't progress. Meaning you either have to reload a save, which for some, could be months prior if they don't save frequently, erasing progress. Or if you saved the game before trying to book the show, to my knowledge, you're stuck and have to restart the game. There's no feuds, no cutscenes, and you only book one show a month. Those may not be deal breakers, but it lacks the experience of building up feuds, trying to set up big time matches for higher attendance and better show ratings. It's just like booking matches and hoping that you have the star power and the popularity as a promotion to sell out and grow. Also, you can't do triple threats, four ways, or any sort of battle royal within the mode, it's only singles, tags, and handicap matches. And if you book a cage match or a death match, your whole show is contested under those rules. Again, for some, that may be fine, but it's little things like that, that I personally think should have been fixed/changed, before bringing this mode into the game. I wouldn't say it's not worth the money, you probably will enjoy it and if you're into modding the game, you can probably fix some of the issues that I think came with the mode. I guess if anything, like I said originally, I just wanted to point out some things that I think people will either overlook or sweep under the rug, because they have a bit of blind love for the Fire Pro games and won't see how, it can be off putting and not as enjoyable to new people playing for the first time.

Thank you very much for your incredibly detailed reply, very useful and informative. I think from what you've told me, I'll probably wait until the game is really cheap, rather than just a slight decrease. If the game still gets patched, then perhaps some problems might be fixed too? I've never played any of the previous Fire Pro games, and honestly I would be purchasing this game purely for the Promoter mode, as a halfway point between EWR and the WWE series' GM mode. I've watched match gameplay, and I'm just not a fan of the art style. I would not be playing any matches or watching the CPU play matches. I'd just be booking and simulating each match. Having to use cruiserweight and 6 man titles does sound a bit bothersome, but I think I could probably deal with it. I think I could also deal with having to set everything up exactly as I want it in the beginning, so long as I wouldn't have to keep doing that every turn. The lack of triple threat, fatal 4 way, and battle royals does sound really annoying, as does the inability to just book a single cage match. But I think I would be able to work through them, if they're not patched or able to be fixed through modding.

So... In my PS4 Fire Pro game, I made All Elite Wrestling its own promotion (within the menus), and downloaded the best versions of each signed wrestler (when there was more than one). I made The Elite (Kenny, Cody, The Bucks, Page, and even Marty) its own stable. I found textures to make a regular AEW ring, as well as a Double Or Nothing ring.
Now, I have a working version of an All Elite game powered by Fire Pro.

Hey all, I’ve been playing the crap out of Fire Pro-Wrestling D (I’ve been on a dreamcast kick lately). Does anyone know of any resources for making CAWs on there? I’m having trouble online finding anything and didn’t know how well Returns and World’s CAW formulas work with D.

How do the DLC characters compare to the popular workshop alternatives? I’ve got back into the game recently and the last time I played was before all the DLC was released.

How do the DLC characters compare to the popular workshop alternatives? I’ve got back into the game recently and the last time I played was before all the DLC was released. Most of them have music, everyone except Marty Scurll and Dragon Lee has their own grunts, the best part of the DLC is all the moves that are included: criticalclub.com/thread/665/show-me-ya-movesThere's over 100 new moves that are exclusive to the NJPW DLC and some them work quite well for other wrestlers, for example you can have a perfect Tommaso Ciampa since they added Jado's Green Killer (Hangman DDT from the middle rope) and SHO's Final Double Knee Backbreaker (Project Ciampa).

www.gamespark.jp/article/2019/08/19/92226.htmlStardom DLC coming out soon, I'm not familiar with Stardom but I have seen some of the wrestlers before in ROH, so I'm really looking forward to having even more women wrestlers to choose from.

Does anyone here own Fire Pro World on PC? I've been thinking about getting it on PC, use it on a different hard drive so i could have an almost endless amount of wrestlers to use around Christmas time.

I've had it on PC ever since it first came out over 2 years ago. It's usually very cheap when there's a steam sale so you might as well get it.

Thats great Now, my question is, is it possible to run the game on a laptop, saved on a portable hard drive? I don't see why not, I have a lousy 5 year old laptop and Fire Pro works perfectly on it. Actually just encountered my first major issue, massive slowdown when I played it on a TV using a HDMI cable. Still works fine on the actual laptop though Any info of the Stardom title update they announced? Not yet, but here's a different title update Actual titles!
