| WWE Monday Night RAW - August 19, 2013 - Anaheim, CA - Honda Center (#1055) | TOP STORIES - In the main event segment, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were guided to the ring by their newsecurity team, the Shield - as the two members of power were here for the official coronation of the new WWE Champion - Randy Orton. Triple H compared Orton to the Hulk Hogans and Steve Austins
of this business, calling the 'Apex Predator' the new Face of the WWE. Stephanie ran down the competition in Orton's way; namely John Cena, who was not playing by their rules. Stephanie also put a damper on the name of Daniel Bryan, as Triple H announced that the idea of a bearded troll like the B+ player Daniel Bryan as WWE Champion would be nothing but bad for this business. He said that if Bryan was WWE Champion that ratings would crash, attendances would dwindle: that this company would come to an end because Bryan is not what the WWE needs, wants or desires at any point in time! Hunter introduced Orton proudly as the new WWE Champion, as the 'Viper' declared himself the way of the future - that nobody would ever get in his way. Randy said that he is everything that Triple H said that he was looking for as WWE Champion: someone who was ruthless, dominant, lethal and dangerous! Orton insulted Bryan, stating that he doesn't even deserve to be in this ring with the best that this business has to offer...and just like that, Daniel Bryan emerged on the stage. Bryan came unarmed with a microphone unlike his adversary however; Bryan simply storming down the rampway, engaging in a three on one battle with the Shield! Bryan quickly took down Seth Rollins with a running knee on the aisleway, and he was able to knock down Dean Ambrose with some lethal kicks, but when it came to Roman Reigns, Bryan crashed to the floor as recipient of a lethal spear! The Shield then fed the unconscious Bryan into the ring, where Triple H and Stephanie made way for their new Face of the WWE; the 'Apex Predator' sizing the barely conscious Bryan to his feet before laying him out with a huge RKO! Orton stood tall with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon by his side as RAW went off the air.
- At the beginning of the show, Paul Heyman made his way down to the ring ecstatic over Brock Lesnar's victory against CM Punk last night at SummerSlam. Heyman was joyous as he scurried to the ring and talked down on his former client; the former 'Voice of the Voice of the Voiceless' taking liberties in declaring Lesnar the unmatched emperor of the WWE - talking about how Punk is a man that must pay the price for everything he has done: which is why he was dominated last night by Lesnar, and why Punk will never get his hands on Paul Heyman ever again. The 'Best in the World' did come out to confront the 'Twisted Genius' however, as CM Punk's music hit, and the man that was manhandled by Lesnar under unfair circumstances in the No-Disqualification match last night came out with some choice words for his former agent. Punk said that all Heyman wanted was an apology - which is something he doesn't understand because Punk doesn't do apologies as he has too much pride. Punk said that what happened last night was what it was, he was fed to the rabies-infested Brock Lesnar and he lost. But he did not go down without a fight! Punk exclaimed that Heyman can spin the story however he pleases, but the fact remains that Punk did not go down without swinging, and that he would get his hands on Paul...right now! Noticing that nobody was with Heyman at the time and he was simply in the ring by himself, CM Punk approached the ring as the fans in the Honda Center grew louder: until the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel jumped the wounded 'Best in the World'! Axel especially focused on the ribs as Heyman laughed it up in the ring. Axel got Punk in the ring and dropped him with the Axehole! Heyman was laughing it up - something he wasn't doing moments later, as the RAW General Manager Brad Maddox approached Heyman and Axel backstage and told them that he had booked a match between Punk and Axel for next week on RAW. Heyman seemed questionable of Axel's vow to put Punk out once and for all, almost contemplating his trust for the Intercontinental Champion.
- Monday Night RAW kicked off with emotion, as the first man to arrive in the Honda Center was none other than the former WWE Champion, John Cena. However, Cena was wearing a sling. The former WWE Champion talked about how last night he put up the fight of his career against Daniel Bryan, and unfortunately, he came out on the losing end. Cena then commented on how worse than that - is that he's hurt. Cena said that he left RAW last Monday night and went straight to the hospital. He showed the fans in attendance swelling around his shoulder caused by a torn triceps, almost creating a bizarre extension of his elbow bone. Cena talked about how it sucks, but he put his pride and his careeron the line last night aswell: he should not have wrestled with the ticking timebomb on his arm. Cena said that now, he lost, and he lost the WWE Championship - and now he's losing feeling in his elbowaltogether. At that moment, Cena thanked Daniel Bryan for bringing out the best of him: when surgeons wanted him to cancel the main event of SummerSlam, he refused. And that he lost in a fair fight to the better man.Cena promised that he would be back, and that he will come back stronger than ever: and that he wants to challenge Daniel Bryan to one more showdown, with the odds even, with no corporate shenanigans involved: and on that night, they will find out who the better man truly is. Cena thanked the audience for their time, before departing the ring and leaving the arena to begin treatment on his injuries. | RESULTS - World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio def. Cody Rhodes at 9:45 after the Cross Armbreaker. Damien Sandow was on commentary for this match, hyping their SummerSlam rematch on Wednesday night on Main Event. Sandow left commentary and distracted Cody after he almost beat the World Champion with the Disaster Kick, leading to the submission finish.
- Naomi w/Cameron def. Divas Champion AJ Lee w/Big E Langston at 2:56 after a leg lariat. Michael Cole continued to promote Total Divas throughout the match. Cameron and Naomi celebrated afterwards, a momentous win for the member of the Funkadactyls.
- Tag Team Champions The Shield (Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) w/Dean Ambrose def. Rob Van Dam in a 2-on-1 handicap match at 6:29 after the double powerbomb. RVD was placed in this match for tweets he made about Triple H helping Randy Orton become WWE Champion last night. Van Dam almost had the match won against Rollins with the Five-Star Frog Splash, but Ambrose crotched RVD off of the top rope behind the referee's back. Rollins and Reigns put Van Dam away with the double powerbomb.
- Heath Slater w/3MB def. The Miz at 2:42 after the small-package. After hosting SummerSlam, the fan favourite was out to get a win against the leader of 3MB. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal didn't even get involved in the match, as Miz got the better of Slater and went for the Figure-Four Leglock, just to get cradled by Slater, giving the rock star a huge upset victory.
- The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger) w/Zeb Colter def. Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay & Tensai) w/The Funkadactyls at 3:20 after the Neutralizer by Cesaro on Brodus. Zeb Colter cut a promo before the match, stating how being dinosaurs does not make Tons of Funk American in any way. - Dolph Ziggler def. United States Champion Dean Ambrose & Wade Barrett in a 2-on-1
handicap at 4:31 after the Zig-Zag on Barrett. Another punishment dished out by Triple H over comments made by Ziggler on Twitter. After the match, Dolph Ziggler was jumped by Dean Ambrose and the Shield, who ended the beatdown by giving Ziggler the triple powerbomb. Cole called the Shield 'mercenaries'. - Bray Wyatt w/Erick Rowan & Luke Harper def. Kofi Kingston at 2:49 after the Sister Abigail. After the match, Wyatt talked about how nobody could save Kane now, because he hasn't been seen since SummerSlam, and if he ever came back, he would find himself on another level of pain. Wyatt vowed to change the landscape
of the WWE. - The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil & Darren Young) def. 3MB (Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre) at 4:51 after the
gutbuster by Young on Mahal. After the win by Heath Slater, he proclaimed that this was a turning point for 3MB - but it was not to be, as the newly turned fan favourites were victorious in this outing. Cole put a lot of emphasis on the tag team division division during this match. - Christian def. Damien Sandow at 9:32 after the Killswitch. After Sandow cost Cody Rhodes his match
with Alberto Del Rio earlier tonight, Cody exacted some revenge in this one, as Sandow attempted to walk away from the match and get himself counted out - just for Rhodes to come out and shove Sandow back into the ring. Cole further promoted the SummerSlam rematch on Main Event this Wednesday. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - Alberto Del Rio was interviewed about his current reign as World Heavyweight Champion by Josh Mathews before he was interrupted by former manager Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio threatened to destroy Rodriguez much like he did one month ago, to which Ricardo said that he'd like to see him try. Ricardo said that next week Del Rio will have a match with someone Ricardo has hand picked Del Rio to face - but who is it? Ricardo walked away without giving Alberto an answer, the World Heavyweight Champion desperate to know who this new client of Ricardo is. - Brad Maddox confronted Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel backstage after their attack on CM Punk. Paul
joked about the RAW General Manager being here before Maddox told Heyman and Axel that he saw what happened and has decided to book Axel against Punk next Monday night on RAW. After Maddox left, Axel promised Heyman that he would finish what he started tonight - to which Heyman sold uncertainty, almost not believing the Intercontinental Champion. - The Bella Twins interrupted the Funkadactyls' celebration after Naomi pinned AJ Lee. Brie and Nikki
made fun of Naomi and bantering, told her not to let Team Total Divas down - they need to take the Divas Championship from AJ Lee for the good of the show. Brie and Nikki then threw away Naomi and Cameron's pompoms.
- Michael Cole revealed the tweets sent out by Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam, who both opposed Triple H's decision of screwing Daniel Bryan out of the WWE Championship and handpicking Randy Orton as Face of the company. He revealed their punishments in the form of two handicap matches with superstars close to the Authority members. - Daniel Bryan lashed out in an interview with Renee Young, about how corrupt management are, and
how he should be the rightful WWE Champion after beating John Cena last night. The bearded man was outraged with the decision made by Triple H, and planned some revenge for later tonight.
- Throughout the night, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talked about how the Randy Orton coronation needed to go without a hitch. They ordered Brad Maddox to be in the Gorilla position to keep Daniel Bryan away from the ceremony, as well as ordering the Shield - their apparent mercenaries - to stand at ringside and guard the ring.
- Ryback bullied a rookie wrestler backstage, throwing his luggage around the locker room and forcing him to eat food off of the floor, furthering his bully persona. - A vignette aired, promoting the debut of Los Matadores, two Spanish bullfighters out to make an
impact in the WWE. - The Big Show and Mark Henry were shown getting ready to compete tonight - until RAW General
Manager Brad Maddox interrupted them, telling the gigantic duo that their match, under orders of Triple H, was cancelled. Maddox told them to be at SmackDown this Friday, as Vickie Guerrero reportedly had a match planned for them instead. Michael Cole wondered if this was linked to Show wanting to knock COO Triple H out on WWE.com after what went down last night. - In a graphic promoting SmackDown this Friday on SyFy, Daniel Bryan duels it out with recent rival
Wade Barrett. - In a sponsored advertisement for Footlocker, Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel were standing by with a
Footlocker official informing Ryder and Gabriel of a promotional deal - that is until Fandango interrupted, asking the official if he could dance in Footlocker shoes. The official tried to pronounce his name, but Fandango had to correct him repeatedly. - Advertisements aired promoting the encore presentation of SummerSlam, reviewing CM Punk facing
Brock Lesnar in the brutal No-Disqualification match, as well as Daniel Bryan challenging John Cena for the WWE Championship. - Advertisements aired for WWE 2K14, focusing on The Undertaker and The Rock. WWE 2K14 comes
out on October 29 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. | NOTES - Main Event this Wednesday: Cody Rhodes vs Damien Sandow in a rematch from SummerSlam. - Superstars this Thursday: Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs Justin Gabriel; JTG and Xavier Woods vs the Usos. - SmackDown this Friday: Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett. - Monday Night RAW next week: CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel; Alberto Del Rio vs Ricardo Rodriguez' handpicked client.
- Night of Champions, live on pay-per-view on September 16. - No matches announced. |

| WWE Main Event - August 21, 2013 - Bakersfield, CA - Rabobank Arena (#047) | TOP STORIES - After being laid out two nights in a row as WWE programming went off the air, Main Event unceremoniously kicked off this week with the presence of Daniel Bryan. The former WWE Champion whose reign at SummerSlam lasted approximately two and a half minutes took the ring by storm, as he talked vengefully about Randy Orton and how he's shown his true colors ever since turning his back on the WWE Universe and selling out to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. "Randy Orton likes to hide behind his cronies, and that's fine - but no matter how big the fight is, Daniel Bryan is a man that bows down to nobody! I stand up for what I believe in; I fight for my own personal survival!" Bryan continued to talk about Triple H apparently doing what was right for business, before Bryan listed what may be wrong with him being the Face of the company - his size, his ability to wrestle circles around the entire locker room - but the one thing that he beats Orton at, is his passion which is unmatched by any other WWE superstar walking the surface of the WWE Universe today. Bryan asked the fans if they were going to welcome the 'Apex Predator' with walking arms: No! Bryan asked the fans if they were going to be puppets who watch Triple H and Stephanie pull the strings in the WWE: No! And whether or not Daniel Bryan would once again be WWE Champion: Yes! Yes! Yes! The fans applauded, and all was well: until the arrival of Wade Barrett. Barrett arrived wearing a suit, crashing Bryan's parade; the recent rival of Bryan informing him that his efforts will get him nowhere, because he is a "part of the food chain". Barrett called Bryan a flea-bitten rodent living in the wildlife that is the real world. And Bryan goes about his business acting tough in front of other flea-bitten rodents and marks his territory like he owns the woods, as if he's Tarzan. But that's when he comes in. Barrett declared himself a hawk, a really hungry hawk ready to wipe Bryan out: much like he should have done in the past couple of weeks. Barrett told Bryan that he can soak up this spot of glory all that he wants. "This Friday on SmackDown you and I face off again - but this time Daniel, you find out that when Wade Barrett delivers news, he delivers bad news; and that will be the fact that he will never ever be WWE Champion again". Barrett left to boos from the disapproving Rabobank Arena, a snarly grin on his face: but Bryan had a look of determination and seemed all too ready to take Barrett down in their rematch this Friday night on SmackDown. - The Wyatt Family in their near two month long reign of terror over the WWE Universe have made a lot of people shiver with fear, or scratch their head in confusion at the words or actions made by leader Bray Wyatt. Some call the man demented, others declare him demonic: Bray Wyatt has a cult of two vicious savages which he has brought in to his family and formed a seemingly unstoppable alliance. This was proven when Wyatt disposed of the 'Big Red Monster' Kane last Sunday at SummerSlam, setting the seven-foot veteran on fire in front of a hot Los Angeles crowd. Wyatt proved this again last Monday night on RAW when he manhandled poor Kofi Kingston, putting him away with the greatest of ease. But Wyatt talked more myths tonight on Main Event, as he addressed the WWE Universe about his next step to the top. "I have a plan, see it was brought to me on a silver platter, long long before little old Bray Wyatt was even a concept". Wyatt told the mythic tale of how he was chosen to lead the world with his words, how many were designed with the intent of following his lifestyle, and it was a success. "Those who followed me were smart, smart, brave old people. But those who called Bray Wyatt a mad man with no morals found themselves in a pit of despair". He proclaimed himself the 'Chosen One', that it was all about him now: everything was in his head waiting to come out. As the masked Erick Rowan and the ever-glaring Luke Harper knelt in front of him, the spotlights shone down over Wyatt's hat, illuminating a dark shadow over his eyes; his jaw a yellow tint from the lights. Wyatt talked about how "they" want a war; how it's all written in stone. Bray asked the fans if they were ready for the prophecy to be told. However after moments of chuckling eerily, the image cut to black and the Wyatts had once again tricked the WWE Universe with their mind games.
- A tag team gone bad, that could be the best fitting description for the recent breakup in Team Rhodes Scholars. Last September, two men with egotistical mindsets joined forces in Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. One, a raw second-generation athlete from the illustrious Rhodes clan in Cody Rhodes - the other a narcissist oozing intelligence and obnoxiousness in Damien Sandow. The two joined forces with intentions of dominating the tag team division and claiming the WWE Tag Team Championships: unfortunately, sometimes plans do not go along so smoothly. At the Money in the Bank pay-per-view last month, Cody Rhodes came so close to claiming the Money in the Bank briefcase, almost earning himself a well-earned future opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship: but egos clashed, and Sandow cost his own partner the briefcase. The two parted ways, as the fans took Cody's side and wanted to see Rhodes with the briefcase in hand - not Sandow. Unfortunately for Cody, he was never given an opportunity for revenge. That is however until last Sunday at SummerSlam, when the two egotists clashed and Cody came out victorious, the second-generation superstar once again capturing the admiration of the WWE Universe. But tonight was the rematch. After a gripping eighteen minutes of back-and-forth action, of Sandow pounding away at the knee of Rhodes and Cody coming ever so close to knocking Sandow off once again, it came down to Sandow intentionally getting himself disqualified with his trusty briefcase. Whacking Rhodes across the back of the head with it, Sandow left Rhodes unconscious in the ring. Many question whether it was necessary - but to Sandow it was all about regaining what was damaged before: his pride, his confidence, his respect. Whether that will be it for Cody's pursuit of Damien remains to be seen.
| RESULTS - Cody Rhodes def. Damien Sandow by disqualification at 18:20 after Sandow nailed Rhodes with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Sandow cartwheeled over Rhodes after the match, taking the disqualification as if he had won the match and not gotten disqualified at all.
- Nikki Bella w/Brie Bella def. Layla w/AJ Lee at 4:13 after Twin Magic. After seeing Naomi of the Funkadactyls get an upset victory over the WWE Divas Champion on RAW this past week, the Bella Twins also wanted in on getting the job done - and it paid off, as Brie switched places with Nikki as Layla was going to work on Nikki, leading to a roll-up giving the Bellas another win this week for Team Total Divas.
- Justin Gabriel & Zack Ryder def. 3MB ((Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre) w/Heath Slater at 4:39 after the 450 splash on McIntyre. Heath Slater still seemed to be buzzed over his victory this past Monday on RAW against the Miz and attempted to coach Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre in this one - but Justin Gabriel and Zack Ryder'shigh-offense style of teamwork paid off, giving them the victory much to Slater's chagrin. On commentary, the Miz was repeatedly mocked by Josh Mathews for losing to Slater last Monday.
- Bray Wyatt w/Erick Rowan & Luke Harper def. R-Truth at 6:32 with the Sister Abigail. The rapper attempted to mount some offense in against the puzzling leader of the Wyatt Family, but Bray's mind games came into play. With the presence of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper at ringside, it proved too much for R-Truth, and Bray picked up the victory in his first match on WWE Main Event. After the match was over, Wyatt kissed the forehead of R-Truth and danced around the ring with the groggy man, planting him with a second Sister Abigail. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - Fandango graced the stage unexpectedly with his dance partner Summer Rae, as they interrupted Josh Mathews and the Miz from trying to talk about SummerSlam. The Miz took great offense to the spontaneity of Fandango's actions, getting out of his seat and slapping Fandango to the ground as they approached the two commentators with their dancing. - Daniel Bryan taking on Wade Barrett was advertised in a graphic promoting SmackDown once again tonight, but additionally SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero also had an idea for the Big Show and Mark Henry, as the gigantic duo take on all three members of the Shield this Friday night on SyFy, as shown in another graphic.
- The RAW Rebound video package aired, reviewing Randy Orton's official coronation as WWE Champion, and making light of Daniel Bryan attempting to get revenge on the 'Apex Predator', just to be taken out by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's mercenaries, the Shield.
- A vignette aired, promoting the debut of Los Matadores, two Spanish bullfighters out to make an impact in the WWE.
- Advertisements aired for Night of Champions, live on pay-per-view on September 16. The advertisement was centered around the new WWE Champion, Randy Orton.
- Advertisements aired for WWE 2K14, focusing on The Undertaker and The Rock. WWE 2K14 comes
out on October 29 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. | NOTES - Superstars this Thursday: Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs Justin Gabriel; JTG & Xavier Woods vs the Usos. - SmackDown this Friday: Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett; The Big Show & Mark Henry vs the Shield. - Monday Night RAW next week: CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel; Alberto Del Rio vs Ricardo Rodriguez' handpicked client.

| WWE NXT - August 21, 2013 - Winter Park, FL - Full Sail University (#182) | TOP STORIES - There has never been a developing rivalry in NXT like the one that Antonio Cesaro shares with Sami Zayn. Back on May 22, Zayn wrestled in what was his first match in the Full Sail University - and what a debut it was, as Sami Zayn did the unthinkable when he managed to defeat the main roster superstar, Cesaro. The 'Swiss Superman' however was not impressed by Zayn's credentials, and in their rematch several weeks later, the former WWE United States Champion managed to overtake Zayn, defeating the Syrian-Canadian, breaking Zayn's chain. However tonight at the Full Sail, it was the rubber match: the two men tied at 1-1 in their series of excellent wrestling contests, now they had to get it on in a two-out-of-three falls match: for all of the marbles. Without a doubt, it was a gripping match for the ages. In the first fall it was Sami Zayn using his quick wit to somehow knock off a quick victory over Cesaro, managing to roll the Real American up merely ten seconds into the match - but that merely irked the 'Swiss Superman' further, allowing Cesaro to show Zayn the ropes European style. Using several Greco-Roman techniques, Antonio had Zayn right where he wanted him, and that's when the score became tied as Cesaro forced Zayn to submit to...a chinlock? Now, Antonio Cesaro was proving how great a performer he truly was - 6'5, 230lbs, the speaker of five different languages, also a chiseled, strong masterpiece in the ring, humiliating Zayn by forcing him to tap out to a simple submission hold like the chinlock, he had Sami's confidence demoralized. But in the third round, it became even, as Zayn mounted a comeback, striving for revenge with an awesome sunset flip powerbomb on Cesaro, almost putting the European away. Zayn was on a roll now, as Cesaro attempted to flee the ring for cover at ringside - just for Zayn to strike with a dive through the ropes, catching Cesaro by the head and planting him head first on the rampway with a tornado DDT! The fans in Full Sail were on their feet at each exchange, as Zayn got Cesaro in the ring for such a close fall. Sami wanted to keep on going, as he continued to barrage the Real American with offensive moves before running cold dead into a sharp European Uppercut. With that, the rubber match concluded, and Cesaro left the ring two falls to one. However, the respect was still in Zayn's hands, as the Syrian-Canadian had once again proved himself to the NXT Universe; how passionate an athlete he is, how courageous a performer he is, and how fearless a fighter he can be. The show went off the air to the fans in Full Sail chanting "This is awesome" over and over - and rightfully so.
- Last month the Full Sail University witnessed a huge win for Adrian Neville and Corey Graves, the unlikely duo won the NXT Tag Team Championships from the waists of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper of the sinister Wyatt Family just prior to the Wyatts moving onto the main roster. Since then, Neville and Graves have been keeping an eye on competition, that competition arriving to be the force known as the Ascension. Clad in dark, gothic clothing, Conor O'Brian and Rick Victor have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with throughout the past several months. Dominant, powerful and dangerous are merely three adjectives used to describe the intensity and tenacity of the next contenders. Tonight on NXT, the Ascension watched from the rafters above the ring to watch Adrian Neville and Corey Graves do their work against Mickey Keegan and Aiden English, scouting the NXT Tag Team Champions. And it came to no surprise that later on in the hour, NXT General Manager Dusty Rhodes decided to make the match official: in two weeks on NXT, Graves and Neville have to put aside their friction and do battle with the intense members of the Ascension.
- Everyone has been keeping an eye on Tyler Breeze lately, and it is no surprise why this is the case. The self-proclaimed 'Prince of Pretty' has bragged all over WWE social media about how great looking he is, and even makes his way down to the ring carrying his beloved fluffy and pink iPhone, taking "selfies" of himself much to the annoyance of the rest of the NXT Universe. The 'King of Cutesville' took things to a whole new level tonight however, as he showed what kind of ruthless man he can be as well once his temper is running an all-time high. Tonight could have been Tyler's big chance to shine in the big leagues, as he matched up with none other than WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler. The "Show Off" met his NXT counterpart tonight in a clash that could have been so much more special had Tyler been less arrogant and flamboyant - and actually squared off with the former World Heavyweight Champion. Instead, the "Prince of Pretty" decided to stall and continue to check his iPhone for texts and take "selfies" - which only made Ziggler madder. Ziggler caught Tyler off-guard as he went to this technique, causing the former student of Lance Storm to drop his phone on the floor! Breeze was outraged, and immediately floored Ziggler with his Beauty Shot, before screaming down at the WWE superstar "you don't mess with another man's selfies!" Tyler's temper tantrums could be the downfall of the self-proclaimed 'Gorgeous One' if this persists. | RESULTS - Dolph Ziggler def. Tyler Breeze by disqualification at 7:11 after Breeze refused to stop attacking Ziggler in the corner up to the count of five. The NXT superstar found himself getting agitated and frustrated by Ziggler's actions, outwrestling Tyler quite easily in the early goings: so Tyler decided to retreat to ringside and calm down by taking selfies. After working on the 'Show-Off' momentarily, Ziggler fired back causing Breeze to revert back to that tactic. However this time, Ziggler nailed Breeze with a baseball slide, causing the 'Prince of Pretty' to drop his iPhone. This caused Breeze to have a temper tantrum, assaulting Ziggler and leaving the WWE superstar flat out cold on the canvas.
- NXT Tag Team Champions Corey Graves & Adrian Neville def. Mickey Keegan & Aiden English in a non-title match at 4:30 after the Lucky 13 on Keegan. You could tell that Corey Graves and Adrian Neville's personalities were still clashing in this one, but they still managed to make short work of their opponents. The NXT Tag Team Champions tore apart Mickey Keegan and Aiden English, the more established team clearly getting the better of their opposition for the night. Graves hot-tagged from Neville as the Leeds native went up for the Red Arrow - and he nailed it on Keegan, just to be shoved aside by Graves with the Lucky 13 submission, making Keegan tap out. In the rafters, the Ascension were seen watching over the match, and seemed to play mind games in scouting the champs after the match.
- Bayley def. Charlotte at 5:14 after the Belly-to-Bayley suplex. It was one month ago where the daughter of 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair, Charlotte made her debut, kicking off her career in NXT with a win against Bayley: but tonight, Bayley was back for more of Charlotte. Charlotte cheated frequently throughout the match, but the fangirl soon made an energetic comeback, coming out of nowhere with what Tom Philips called the 'Belly-to-Bayley' suplex, picking up her first official win in NXT.
- Alexander Rusev def. QT Marshall at 1:34 with the jumping thrust kick. We have not seen much of the entity known as Alexander Rusev, but we did see a bit of him tonight on NXT as he just desolated QT Marshall with a barrage of powerhouse moves before impressing everybody watching with his Muay-Thai thrust kick, using some serious agility to give Rusev his first singles win in NXT. After the match, the Bulgarian celebrated dominantly as French manager Sylvester LeFort arrived at ringside, applauding Rusev on a dominant, impressive win.
- Antonio Cesaro def. Sami Zayn in a two-out-of-three falls match at 18:45. Zayn was able to score the first fall with a roll-up at 0:10, but Cesaro surprised Zayn and worked away at him, eventually forcing him into submission tying things up at 1-1 at 8:28. After multiple wicked, unpredictable exchanges throughout the next ten minutes, Cesaro was able to catch Zayn with a European Uppercut, putting the NXT superstar down for the count. With a hot crowd in Full Sail supporting them, this was definitely a Match of the Year contender. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - NXT General Manager Dusty Rhodes announced live from his office several big matches coming up in the upcoming weeks - as next week it will be Bayley getting an opportunity to showcase herself against the WWE Divas Champion, AJ Lee. Additionally, in two weeks time, Adrian Neville and Corey Graves defend their NXT Tag Team Championships against the Ascension. And lastly, he will announce the next number one contender to Bo Dallas' NXT Championship next week.
- During Alexander Rusev's match, a graphic appeared on the bottom third of the screen advertising next week's main event for NXT: Rob Van Dam taking on NXT Champion Bo Dallas. - Renee Young interviewed a besmirched Tyler Breeze moments after he attacked Dolph Ziggler and got himself disqualified. When asked about his temper tantrum, the 'Prince of Pretty' simply looked into his phone with a big smile on his face, continuing to take selfies as if nothing ever happened. Breeze told Young to buzz off, telling her that she was "harshing his mellow".
- After her first win on NXT, Renee Young attempted to interview Bayley in the ring but wound up having Bayley hug her from all of the excitement, literally tackling the interviewer to the mat.
- A video package aired, highlighting NXT's contribution to SummerSlam Axxess this past weekend.
| NOTES - Superstars this Thursday: Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs Justin Gabriel; JTG & Xavier Woods vs the Usos. - SmackDown this Friday: Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett; The Big Show & Mark Henry vs the Shield. - Monday Night RAW next week: CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel; Alberto Del Rio vs Ricardo Rodriguez' handpicked client. - NXT next week: NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs Rob Van Dam; Bayley vs AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship; Dusty Rhodes names the next number one contender to Bo Dallas' NXT Championship. - NXT a week on Wednesday: Adrian Neville & Corey Graves vs the Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

| WWE Superstars - August 22, 2013 - Anaheim, CA - Honda Center (#229) | RESULTS - Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel w/Paul Heyman def. Justin Gabriel in a non-title match at 7:29 after the Axehole. The 'Cape Town Werewolf' got in a lot more offense than expected, much to the ire of Paul Heyman at ringside. The announcers mainly discussed Axel attacking CM Punk on RAW and how this sets up for Punk facing the Intercontinental Champion this upcoming Monday night. Gabriel missed the 450 splash, which allowed Axel to decisively put Gabriel away with the Axehole.
- The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) def. JTG & Xavier Woods at 4:44. The Samoans were in action tonight on WWE Superstars against longtime WWE superstar JTG and his new protegé, Xavier Woods from NXT. Xavier attempted to dance at the Usos, who responded in a comical exchange. From there it was all business, and very quickly Jimmy and Jey were able to put JTG away with the Wild Samoan Splash. Tony Dawson and Alex Riley talked about the tag team division on commentary. | NOTES - SmackDown this Friday: Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett; The Big Show & Mark Henry vs the Shield. - Monday Night RAW next week: CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel; Alberto Del Rio vs Ricardo Rodriguez' handpicked client. - NXT next week: NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs Rob Van Dam; Bayley vs AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship; Dusty Rhodes names the next number one contender to Bo Dallas' NXT Championship. - NXT a week on Wednesday: Adrian Neville & Corey Graves vs the Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

| WWE Friday Night SmackDown - August 23, 2013 - Bakersfield, CA - Rabobank Arena (#731) | TOP STORIES - In another stage in the rivalry between Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett, the two fought for the third consecutive week tonight on SmackDown. It all began several weeks ago on RAW, where Vince McMahon attempted to give Bryan a makeover going into the WWE Championship match with John Cena at SummerSlam: this included shaving the famous beard of the underdog. However the plan backfired, and it led to Wade Barrett's beard being shaved off instead, courtesy of the feisty Aberdeen, Washington native. In past weeks, Bryan has managed to get a win over Barrett on two occasions, and it seemed as though tonight would end in a similar manner - the aggressive Bryan looking to unload some frustration on Barrett after being screwed out of the WWE Championship last Sunday at SummerSlam, and then being laid out by the Shield and Randy Orton on RAW last Monday. However just before the two squared off in action, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero made her presence felt when she revealed that by orders of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, Bryan and Barrett would now take place inside of the confounds of a fifteen-foot high steel cage. Bryan and Barrett grappled throughout, as the cocky Englishman pounded away at Bryan and used the mesh walls as a weapon, repeatedly launching the former WWE Champion into the walls and rubbing his face into the steel. However as time elapsed, Bryan soon fired back at Barrett, wrestling him down to the canvas and managing to lock in the Yes Lock; the underdog overcoming all different kinds of adversity: when Randy Orton himself appeared. The WWE Champion stalked Bryan from outside of the cage, which threw Bryan off-guard...and right into the lethal Bullhammer Elbow of Barrett! Orton had caused Bryan to have the worst week of his entire career, as Barrett had finally gotten the job done: succeeding in a huge win against the man that main evented SummerSlam last Sunday night. Orton smirked, a job well done on his night off for the 'Apex Predator'.
- After Triple H's actions in screwing Daniel Bryan out of the WWE Championship just after counting the fall back at SummerSlam, many WWE superstars have voiced their complaints in the decision for Randy Orton to be the WWE Champion in what many feel is all thanks to the Chief Operating Officer's Pedigree. These began last Monday night on RAW, as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon took it upon themselves to punish several of these superstars for their 'unprofessional misconduct' - as Rob Van Dam was forced to compete against the Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of the Shield - whereas Dolph Ziggler had to compete against United States Champion Dean Ambrose and Wade Barrett. Ominously, the tag team of Mark Henry and the Big Show found out by RAW General Manager Brad Maddox that their match last Monday night was cancelled: ordering the two to report to SmackDown tonight to await Vickie Guerrero's instructions, as Vickie ordered the 'World's Largest Athlete' and the 'World's Strongest Man' to compete in a three-on-two handicap match with their rivals recently, all three members of the Shield tonight. Show and Henry threatened to defy Vickie's orders, but the blackmail continued, as the SmackDown General Manager said that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were ordering them to wrestle this match or face indefinite suspension without pay! The two goliaths teamed up in handicap action at the top of the second hour, and despite Show and Henry's best efforts to fight off the mercenaries of authority, Seth Rollins managed to incapacitate Mark Henry with a huge curb stomp on the ring apron whilst the Big Show fell to the incredible triple powerbomb of the Shield. The question remained however - was this the end of Big Show and Mark Henry's punishment after Show's threat to "knock out" Triple H? What about Rob Van Dam and Dolph Ziggler, who were backstage at the show and confronted Vickie Guerrero about being in action just to be denied and left off of the show altogether? Only time would tell whether this would be it for the punishments of the superstars opposing Triple H's actions.
- 'The Mexican Aristocrat' Alberto Del Rio continued to run his mouth about being the World Heavyweight Champion tonight on SmackDown, as he talked himself up about being one of the greatest champions in the history of sports entertainment. Alberto continued to brag about how he is no longer bound by the irritable Ricardo Rodriguez, nor does he have to talk and play around with the many morons in attendance. "Because what you see is what you get, a man living his dream, living his destiny, and nobody controls Alberto Del Rio - the Heavyweight Champion of the World!" Del Rio was all smiles despite the challenge laid out to him by Rodriguez for this upcoming Monday night on RAW: but he did have further problems with the man he defeated last Sunday at SummerSlam, Christian. The experienced Christian interrupted Del Rio, asking the Mexican if talking was all that he did. Christian called Del Rio boring, a joke, and that right now many across the world were tucking themselves up at night just having to listen to the World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio seemed annoyed by Christian's presence, and that's when Christian laid out an impromptu challenge to the World Heavyweight Champion: a rematch, right here tonight, because he would love nothing more than to shut Del Rio's mouth once and for all! Del Rio accepted, stating that he would love to break the jaw of the loudmouth Canadian - but tonight would go ahead: without the World Championship on the line. In a competitive match that opened up the show, Christian came close to putting Del Rio down much like he did last Sunday night, 'Captain Charisma' driven with determination to once again prove himself worthy of 'one more match', but it was not meant to be, as Del Rio used his stiff kicks and worked away at the arm of Christian relentlessly, putting him down with the Cross-Armbreaker. | RESULTS - World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio def. Christian in a non-title match at 10:07 after the Cross-Armbreaker. In a competitive match, Christian wanted nothing more than to shut the mouth of Del Rio up, and came close to getting the job done on multiple occasions, but the work on the arm done by the 'Mexican Aristocrat' eventually put Christian in his place.
- Darren Young w/Titus O'Neil def. Jack Swagger w/Antonio Cesaro & Zeb Colter at 4:16 after the gutbuster. It seems as though the Prime Time Players have become crowd favorites in the past couple of weeks, as tonight Young battled Jack Swagger of the Real Americans. Michael Cole continued to talk about the competition in the tag team division in recent weeks. Zeb Colter attempted to intervene in Young winning, but wound up being chased away by O'Neil, who brawled with Cesaro leading to the finish.
- The Shield (United States Champion Dean Ambrose and Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) def. The Big Show & Mark Henry in a 3-on-2 handicap match at 11:25 after the triple powerbomb on Big Show. In the punishment for the 'World's Largest Athlete' and the 'World's Strongest Man', SmackDown General Manager made this match, and despite Mark Henry and Big Show's efforts to dissect the mercenaries for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, the numbers game proved too much for them, as Henry found himself curbstomped on the ring apron by Seth Rollins, which led Show open to the world's largest triple powerbomb from Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
- Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel w/Paul Heyman def. Sin Cara in a non-title match at 3:31 after the Axehole. Prior to the match, Heyman talked about how Axel would defeat CM Punk this Monday night on RAW - leading to the Intercontinental Champion promising to dismantle the 'Best in the World'. Heyman, unlike on RAW last week seemed confident in Axel's abilities: and he demonstrated them against Sin Cara, the high-flying luchador being no match for the third-generation superstar.
- Natalya, Nikki Bella & Naomi w/Brie Bella & Cameron def. WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, Layla & Alicia Fox at 3:40 after the Sharpshooter by Natalya on AJ. The WWE Divas Champion recently has not been in good luck, as she suffered losses to both Naomi of the Funkadactyls on RAW, and Nikki Bella this past Wednesday on Main Event - and tonight it added up further, as a catfight ensued between Layla, Alicia Fox, Nikki and Naomi, setting up Natalya forcing AJ Lee into submission. Another Total Divas member had defeated the champ, and AJ was distraught afterwards.
- Big E Langston def. Cody Rhodes at 4:23 with the Big Ending. Without AJ Lee tonight as a result of her previous match, Big E was given a chance to prove himself against the man that almost beat Damien Sandow for the second time in a week on Main Event, Cody Rhodes. Rhodes put up a fight against Langston but Damien Sandow came out to the rampway and talked down Rhodes' abilities as a superstar and a tag team partner, leading to Big E putting Cody away.
- Wade Barrett def. Daniel Bryan in a steel-cage match at 14:24 after the Bullhammer Elbow. This was originally announced as a singles match in the third encounter between Bryan and Barrett, but under orders of Triple H, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero interrupted the match's beginning and officially made it a steel-cage contest. Near the end of the match, Randy Orton came out to watch from a distance as Bryan had Barrett put away with the Yes Lock - the distraction leading to Barrett picking up a huge upset victory. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - Wade Barrett was interviewed by Renee Young, commenting on how he had been outsmarted by Daniel Bryan three times - and that it would not happen a fourth. Barrett declared that tonight would be the end of this situation, and talked about how Bryan would not have made a good WWE Champion at all. Barrett concluded, stating that he is simply doing what is best for business, and what's best for business
is beating Bryan to a pulp - courtesy of the Barrett Bullhammer.
- SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero confronted the Big Show and Mark Henry as they arrived at the Rabobank Arena, talking down to them furiously about how they are late to arrive and that this is only another offense of 'unprofessional misconduct'. Guerrero ordered Show and Henry to hurry up and get ready for their handicap match with the Shield.
- After going through with their punishments this past Monday night on RAW, Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam were unsatisfied to find that they were left out of action tonight on SmackDown. Because of this, the 'Show-Off' and the ECW Original decided to take it up with Vickie Guerrero, who told them that they could have a match - but she's not "feeling it". Guerrero ordered the two to keep quiet and stay patient, telling them to relax and watch the show.
- Ricardo Rodriguez was interviewed by Renee Young, who was curious who Rodriguez' new client was ahead of the client's upcoming match with Alberto Del Rio this upcoming Monday night. Ricardo didn't give away any details, instead telling Renee to think about "legacy".
- A graphic aired during the show, advertising the first match assigned for Night of Champions on September 16, as AJ Lee will put her Divas Championship on the line against the three members of Total Divas that defeated her this past week, Nikki Bella, Naomi and Natalya in a fatal four-way match.
- In a pre-recorded segment filmed earlier today, Ryback was asked by a father for an autograph for his son - and that's when the bully Ryback decided to sign the autograph, just to mock the father's son and call him a loser, ripping the autograph up in front of the father and sons' eyes.
- A vignette aired, promoting the debut of Los Matadores, two Spanish bullfighters out to make an impact in the WWE.
- Advertisements aired for Night of Champions, live on pay-per-view on September 16. The advertisement
was centered around the new WWE Champion, Randy Orton.
- The RAW Rebound aired, reviewing Randy Orton's official coronation as WWE Champion, and making light of Daniel Bryan attempting to get revenge on the 'Apex Predator', just to be taken out by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's mercenaries, the Shield. | NOTES - Monday Night RAW this Monday: Triple H announces Randy Orton's number one contender; CM Punk vs Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel; Alberto Del Rio vs Ricardo Rodriguez' handpicked client.. - NXT this Wednesday: NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs Rob Van Dam; Bayley vs AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship; Dusty Rhodes names the next number one contender to Bo Dallas' NXT Championship. - NXT a week on Wednesday: Adrian Neville & Corey Graves vs the Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
- Night of Champions, live on pay-per-view on September 16. - AJ Lee (c) vs Natalya vs Nikki Bella vs Naomi for the WWE Divas Championship. |

First thoughts on this...
I like the look of the diary it's all smart and clear not sure on the show format yet. All a bit early story wise like you said it's still similar to the what actually happened last year.
Really hope you stick to this and the shows are posted as often as possible then things will really start developing.

| WWE Monday Night RAW - August 26, 2013 - Phoenix, AZ - US Airways Center (#1056) | TOP STORIES - At the top of the program, it was Triple H and Stephanie McMahon once again coming out to greet the hot crowd in Phoenix, Arizona - meeting plenty of displeasure from the fans in attendance. Triple H talked about how he is receiving a lot of negative backlash about stabbing Daniel Bryan in the back eight days ago at SummerSlam when he counted the fall and then proceeded to invite the 'Apex Predator' to come out and crash Bryan's stillborn WWE Championship reign. The Chief Operating Officer announced that the fans refuse to realize it when he says that Daniel Bryan would not be a WWE Champion that would be good for business: he would not be able to represent the company in the correct way, and he does not look the part of being the Face of the company. Stephanie talked down Bryan's abilities based on his questionable look, declaring that Bryan is nothing more than a B+ player. Hunter continued, stating that no matter who the superstar is, if they don't like what the Authority is doing - to take it up with him, and not to ramble on about it over Twitter or any other form of social media. The WWE Universe were hating what the ultimate couple were saying, which is when the Big Show and Mark Henry interrupted them - the 'World's Largest Athlete' commenting on Hunter's lies, stating that what they were put through last Friday night on SmackDown is undeserved. Show said that Triple H and Stephanie may be the couple in charge after Mr McMahon "departs", and maybe the politics will change. But the here and now says that they live in democracy, not a dictatorship. The 'World's Strongest Man' added, saying that since Triple H wants to talk trash about superstars performing 'unprofessional misconduct' over social media, then why not tell Hunter this to his face and see if the COO means what he says! The world's biggest tag team were calling out the Authority on their claims, and that's when Dolph Ziggler came out as well to stand by the Big Show and Mark Henry - as well as Rob Van Dam! The fans cheered loudly as Big Show continued to talk, stating that there is a locker room full of WWE superstars fed up with Triple H and Stephanie, and that there would be no stopping the four of them. Triple H simply chuckled, as did his wife; the COO telling the four that he knows that times have been hard on those four - which is why tonight he has an idea: in the main event, an eight-man tag match with Ziggler, Big Show and Mark Henry on one side - and the other, WWE Champion Randy Orton; WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, and WWE Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns! A big stage set, this revolution was being put to the test. However throughout the show came cracks in the fold, as Orton was objective to Authority's decision, and seemed defensive about teaming with the unpredictable Shield. Despite his complaints to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, Stephanie rebounded stating that the 'Face of this company' would go through with the match. Triple H promised Orton that this match would end well.
- In the main event, with Daniel Bryan nowhere to be seen, it was time for the eight-man tag team match between the anti-Authority superstars, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler, and the Authority-chosen members of the Shield and WWE Champion Randy Orton. It was an all-out brawl as the 'World's Largest Athlete' and Rob Van Dam used their diverse styles to catch Seth Rollins off-guard - but when the 'Show Off' got involved, it was the underhanded tactics that put Ziggler down for a beating. All four members of the Authority sided superstars gave Ziggler a beating, the former World Heavyweight Champion stuck in suffering at the hands of the Shield and Orton - the methodical style of the 'Apex Predator' matched with the unstoppable teamwork of Rollins, the champions seemed to have the advantage. But finally after much work on the arm of Ziggler, he got the tag to Big Show who darted in and cleared house alongside RVD and Big Show - bodies flying everywhere as Mark Henry gave Dean Ambrose the World's Strongest Slam; Seth Rollins gave Henry the curbstomp; Big Show gave Rollins the WMD; Roman Reigns speared Big Show; Rob Van Dam gave Reigns a spinkick; And then Randy Orton planted RVD with the RKO! The WWE Champion was setting up for another RKO for a groggy Dolph Ziggler - when Daniel Bryan hit the ring! Bryan pounded away at Orton as the referee called the bell at the twenty-second minute of the match. The B+ player was pounding away at Orton as Orton had no choice to bail; Bryan standing tall with a damaged but still standing anti-Authority team, whilst the WWE Champion was fleeing at the helm with the Shield, back up the rampway! Bryan's revolution was growing as RAW went off the air.
- After the anticipation brought on by the bragging powers of Alberto Del Rio, the World Heavyweight Champion was caught off guard last Monday night on RAW when his former personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez interrupted an interview with Del Rio, declaring that he has a new ally who would be coming to RAW tonight to face Del Rio in singles action. When asked about who it may be this past Friday night on SmackDown, Rodriguez would only give away one hint: to think "legacy". Tonight, it was surprising as Cody Rhodes came out with Ricardo in his corner, confusing many wondering if Rhodes was the client in mind to take on the 'Mexican Aristocrat'. It was a hard-hitting match between the two superstars, with Cody seeking a win against the World Heavyweight Champion in order to prove himself as a true contender, with Ricardo seeking a way to take a chunk out of his former ally's armor; and for Del Rio to further prove himself as the best World Heavyweight Champion in recent memory. Cody did indeed prove himself worthy, as he powered away at Del Rio and almost actually beat the World Champion with a Disaster Kick. Meanwhile, Del Rio gave Rhodes a running for his money, on point with the sharp kicks of the Mexican, punishing the arm of Rhodes in order to open up the Cross Armbreaker - but not before Cody almost scored another huge upset when he caught Del Rio with the Cross Rhodes out of nowhere! Rhodes was close to victory, but Del Rio unfortunately got his foot on the bottom rope. As the match continued, Alberto slyly low blowed Rhodes with the referee out of position - and the Cross Armbreaker set up another win for Alberto Del Rio. But then the biggest surprise came, as Ricardo announced that Cody was NOT his ally of choice. Rodriguez told Del Rio that he did something Del Rio thought would never happen to himself: be out-smarted. With that, Ricardo announced his new ally in mind in classic Rodriguez ring announcing style... Rey Mysterio! His theme played, and out darted Mysterio, the veteran luchador in the WWE rushing the ring and catching the fatigued World Heavyweight Champion off guard, setting him up for the 619 - just for Del Rio to slip out of the ring as the masked man moved in for it! Ricardo had outsmarted his former friend, and Del Rio was distraught after seeing a face from his past.
- With the problems between CM Punk and Paul Heyman heightening by the day, it was up to the son of Mr Perfect to get the job done as the 'Best in the World' clashed with the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel in non-title action tonight. After Axel attacked Punk last Monday night it was inevitable that he would be vexed as he started off with a flurry of offense firing down on Axel. The 'Best in the World' continued to be all over the third-generation superstar, trying to quickly put Axel away with a GTS just for the Intercontinental Champion to fight out, and with help from Paul Heyman at ringside, gain control. Heyman watched with a huge smirk on his face at ringside as Axel put the boots to Punk, simply not allowing the former WWE Champion to get back into the game. The fans in Phoenix were restless, trying to get Punk back into the game, but at every turn when Punk managed to mount some offense on Axel, it was Heyman that caught Punk's attention, and that would cause the 'Straight Edge Superstar' to go after his former manager - just for Axel to jump him again. But finally, Punk fired back and came out with the win out of nowhere, as he reversed the Axehole into the GTS! CM Punk celebrated as Paul Heyman covered his face in his hands in shame after his client Axel was unable to get the job done. Punk continued to celebrate over Axel...when Paul Heyman spontaneously nailed Punk in the spine with a Singapore cane! Heyman nailed his former client again, as the 'Voice of the Voiceless' was down and riving in pain. Curtis Axel then joined in, securing a Singapore cane of his own - repeatedly battering Punk with the cane relentlessly! Heyman had a microphone, as he told Punk that he would never live up to the expectations of the WWE Universe without Heyman. Between shots from the Singapore cane, Heyman told Punk that he was nothing, that he made him and he would break him, and ruin his life! Punk was handcuffed by Axel, and that's when the Intercontinental Champion got extreme with the cane in hand whilst the 'Twisted Genius' watched on! Axel left Punk bloody and broken in the ring, as Heyman stood tall with his client! However it did not stop there, as Dr Sampson tried to give Punk medical attention, and despite the 'Best in the World' with a bandaged forehead and cuts everywhere from the Singapore cane, he refused defiantly. Punk proceeded to grab Brad Maddox by the collar and demand a match with Axel at Night of Champions, which the RAW General Manager had no choice but to give him! But now the question remained, whether the Intercontinental Championship of Axel's would be on the line or not, on the one night of the year where every WWE championship is at stake! | RESULTS - Mr Money in the Bank Damien Sandow def. The Miz at 4:27 after the You're Welcome. Prior to the match Sandow talked down the WWE Universe from Phoenix, calling them imbeciles and that imbeciles don't match the success of him being the next World Heavyweight Champion. He reached the ring and talked further about Cody Rhodes, and how he is a miscreant and a thug. The Miz interrupted, and the two had a match right here. However as Miz was going for the win against Sandow with a Skull Crushing Finale, Fandango interrupted, dancing on the stage with Summer Rae, leading to the finish.
- The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger) w/Zeb Colter def. Zack Ryder & Justin Gabriel at 2:40 after the Gutwrench Powerbomb by Swagger to Gabriel. Zeb Colter spoke to the fans after the match about how the Real Americans dominate everything they see, as they are true patriots unlike any other tag team in the WWE today. Colter cited the Tag Team Championships in the near future. The Prime Time Players would interrupt, as Titus O'Neil and Darren Young laughed at Zeb Colter's mustache, and how Swagger and Cesaro have to be so serious all of the time. The Players told the Real Americans to loosen up, and that they would be the next Tag Team Champions - not the Real Americans. They danced on the stage to the dismay of Colter.
- CM Punk def. Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel w/Paul Heyman in a non-title match at 11:18 after the GTS. The 'Straight Edge Superstar' had been waiting an entire week for this, as he took the fight to the Intercontinental Champion in a competitive, hard-hitting match. Axel wouldn't allow the former WWE Champion the courtesy of dominating him however, working his neck throughout this match, mainly with help from the distraction from Paul Heyman. Punk repeatedly tried to put his hands on Heyman until his client Axel jumped him. After the match, Punk celebrated when Paul Heyman suddenly assaulted Punk with a Singapore cane. Axel continued with the Singapore cane, as Heyman told Punk that he would annihilate him, and take him out of the WWE once and for all.
- The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil & Darren Young) def. 3MB (Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre) w/Heath Slater at 3:16 after the Clash of the Titus on McIntyre. In a rematch from last week, the 3MB members were not happy with the way that they were treat by the Prime Time Players last week. It was the next step in establishing the competitive tag team division running through the WWE as of late, as the claims by the Players earlier tonight were backed up here. The Real Americans and Zeb Colter were shown backstage watching in disapproval after the win - but so were the Usos.
- Kofi Kingston def. Fandango w/Summer Rae at 7:12 after the Trouble in Paradise. After Fandango's interference earlier tonight in costing the Miz his match against Damien Sandow, the dancer seemed extremely smug going into this match with the former United States and Intercontinental Champion from Ghana, West Africa. It was a back-and-forth match full of fast-paced action, when Fandango took control and was ready to put Kingston away with Beauty in Motion when Fandango's theme hit, and Miz hit the stage dancing with Rosa Mendes! The distraction threw the dancer off, and Kofi hit the Trouble in Paradise for three. After the match, Fandango was furious at Miz.
- World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio def. Cody Rhodes w/Ricardo Rodriguez in a non-title match at 13:01 after the Cross Armbreaker. A high-action match, as Cody Rhodes appeared to deliver in his role as Ricardo Rodriguez' anticipated client, bringing out the best that the 'Mexican Aristocrat' had, Rhodes almost putting Del Rio away on several occasions, with the Disaster Kick and again with a Cross Rhodes that Del Rio only escaped with help from a rope break. Del Rio avidly worked the arm of Cody and soon put him away with the Cross Armbreaker for a decisive win. After the match, Ricardo Rodriguez said that he tricked Del Rio, stating that his real partner to oppose Del Rio was an old rival of his: Rey Mysterio. Mysterio came out and went after the World Heavyweight Champion, Del Rio running away just before Rey could hit the 619 on him.
- Divas Champion AJ Lee, Layla & Alicia Fox def. Team Total Divas (Nikki Bella, Naomi & Natalya) w/Eva Marie, Cameron & Brie Bella at 4:46 after the Black Widow by AJ on Naomi. In a rematch from last Friday night on SmackDown, Team Total Divas were ready for round two of AJ Lee and her consortium of anti-Total Divas supporters. But with Eva Marie, things led to confusion as Marie tried to get involved in the match, getting on the apron and trying to get involved in the match. Nikki and Natalya tried to push her back down as AJ Lee got the win with her unique submission hold. After the match AJ, Layla and Fox left the ring as the four members of Total Divas argued over that loss ahead of their fatal four-way shot at AJ's Divas Championship.
- Christian def. Ryback at 4:30 after the roll-up. The experienced 'Captain Charisma' was coming off of two hot matches with Alberto Del Rio over the World Heavyweight Championship last week, but tonight on RAW he was up against the baddest bully in the WWE today, Ryback. This match was set up earlier tonight as Christian stood up to Ryback on behalf of Total Divas star JoJo earlier tonight. Ryback dominated the former World Heavyweight Champion in the early goings, using his size as an advantage, but Christian quickly fired back, and somehow caught Ryback with an upset in the roll up! The bully was distraught, and didn't even give Christian a second to celebrate, instead jumping him and demoralizing him by pulling him up by his neck and slamming him down on the canvas, stating that Christian did NOT beat him! Ryback was a bully out of control.
- WWE Champion Randy Orton and The Shield (Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns & United States Champion Dean Ambrose) def. Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry & the Big Show by disqualification in a non-title match at 22:39 after Daniel Bryan interfered and attacked Randy Orton. A hard-fought match as Ziggler was worked over by all four members of the opposing team, before an all-out war took place and finishing moves flying everywhere. Bryan assaulted his rival Orton, pounding away at him before the WWE Champion bailed. Bryan stood tall in the ring with Henry, Show, RVD and Ziggler, as Orton and the Shield fled up the rampway. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were in the backstage area talking about how they told Daniel Bryan not to even bother showing up at tonight's Monday Night RAW, the corporate couple commenting on how much more relaxing it is without having them around. The two were interrupted by an angry Randy Orton, as the WWE Champion said that he didn't like the idea of him teaming with the mercenaries. Hunter tried to convince him that this would end well because Bryan isn't even in the building. Orton stated that he didn't deserve this, when Stephanie talked down at Randy, stating that a true Face of the WWE would. Orton gave in after Hunter once again reassured Orton that tonight would end well for everybody.
- Throughout the night, the members of the Anti-Authority team were interviewed by Renee Young. First it was Rob Van Dam, who talked about how he has been in the WWE for a long time, and he does not like the way that things have been lately with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon manipulating the direction of the company. RVD said that you can't force change, and you can't force free-minded speakers like himself to lash out. Van Dam explained that tonight we would see a new revolution take the Authority by storm. Dolph Ziggler came up next, talking about how the Shield have repeatedly assaulted him even after he overcame the odds and beat the punishment last week. The 'Show Off' said that he will no longer be held back by nobody - he's a former World Heavyweight Champion, and he's going start acting like someone that should still be on top of the WWE. Ziggler said that he's ready to put a stop to WWE's resident mercenaries in the Shield, and that if it happens, he will show Randy Orton that he is a force to be reckoned with. Ziggler said that he isn't a 'Show Off' because tonight, he will back it up. Lastly, the Big Show & Mark Henry spoke out about how frustrated they were, being long-term veterans in the WWE as superstars - and how people like Triple H continues to treat them like replaceable garbage. The 'World's Strongest Man' talked about how he's been in the WWE for seventeen years, and it's been a hell of a seventeen years - but he's not ready to get out of the spotlight: he's bigger, badder and stronger than ever. And he doesn't back down to the Shield, Randy Orton, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon or even Mr McMahon. The Big Show followed up, stating that he's been with the WWE for fourteen years, and a lot has changed. But one thing hasn't changed: the smug attitude of Triple H. He still has a punchable face: and regardless of who it may be tonight, somebody is getting knocked out.
- Brad Maddox was shown talking to Dr Sampson about the condition of the 'Best in the World' CM Punk after the beating earlier tonight. That's when Punk himself limped in, sore and beaten up from the beating he suffered at the hands of Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman earlier tonight with a Singapore cane, his face still bleeding slightly. Punk was refusing medical attention as he grabbed the RAW General Manager by the collar, demanding that he give him Axel at Night of Champions. Maddox seemed threatened by the senile and angry CM Punk, quickly giving him the match there and then!
- In the backstage area, several WWE staff members walked past and congratulated Total Divas star JoJo on her successful performance in singing the American National Anthem back at SummerSlam. That is until she was approached by Ryback. The bully said that what she did to the National Anthem was an absolute disgrace, ganging up on her verbally and backing her up against a wall. At that moment, Christian interrupted his tormenting of JoJo and telling him to pick on someone that's a WWE superstar. 'Captain Charisma' said that he's seen what Ryback has done lately and promises to give him a taste of his own medicine tonight.
- A vignette aired, re-introducing Wade Barrett to weekly viewers of Monday Night RAW. Barrett was shown standing in front of a news like green screen, as he talked about a huge event that happened in the WWE this past week, giving a lot of praise to...himself. Barrett talked all about and bragged about how he won the steel-cage match against the former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan last Friday night in the main event of SmackDown. Barrett said that Bryan is not at RAW tonight, but he is still in the running for the WWE Championship: unfortunately, the Bad News is that there is no way in Hell of Bryan becoming the WWE Champion again! - Yet another video package aired, showcasing the surreal nature of the bizarre Wyatt Family. Bray Wyatt was shown sitting in his chair in between longshots of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper standing afar in a wooded area. Wyatt talked about Sister Abigail, and how her touch could save the world, but her kiss could burn it to the ground. Wyatt talked more as he was shown gathering crowds of cult followers, all "following the buzzards" in unison. Bray said that he removed Kane from the picture - but next? Domination of the WWE Universe. He blew out the candle to close the segment.
- Before his client's match with CM Punk, Michael Cole showed a Tout from Paul Heyman, who declared his intentions to begin ruining the life of the so-called 'Best in the World'.
- A vignette aired, promoting the debut of Los Matadores, two Spanish bullfighters out to make an
impact in the WWE.
- In a graphic advertising Main Event tomorrow night, it will be Bray Wyatt taking on Kofi Kingston.
- In a graphic advertising Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Champion Randy Orton does battle with Rob Van Dam in non-title action; plus, the Big Show challenges Dean Ambrose. | NOTES - Main Event this Wednesday: Bray Wyatt vs Kofi Kingston. - NXT this Wednesday: NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs Rob Van Dam; Bayley vs AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship; Dusty Rhodes names the next number one contender to Bo Dallas' NXT Championship. - Superstars this Thursday: Big E Langston vs Brodus Clay; R-Truth vs Wade Barrett. - SmackDown this Friday: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam; The Big Show vs United States Champion Dean Ambrose. - NXT a week on Wednesday: Adrian Neville & Corey Graves vs the Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
- Night of Champions, live on pay-per-view on September 16. - Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel vs CM Punk in a non-title match? - AJ Lee (c) vs Naomi vs Nikki Bella vs Natalya in a fatal four-way match for the Divas Championship. |

A good promo from The Authority and four of the superstars in the locker room disgruntled, setting the stage for a good eight man tag team match that ended in disqualification thanks to the arrival of Daniel Bryan, which was fitting and necessary, I feel. I really dig the choice of Rey Mysterio as Ricardo Rodriguez's new guy to go up against Alberto Del Rio. We've had the feud before, but I'm fine with it again. I feel like it never lived up and Del Rio getting a chance to shine over Mysterio could be good. A good victory for CM Punk open Curtis Axel and a beat down ala reality. Punk demanding a match and getting it was fine, the belt may not be on the line? Huh. Interesting. Well, then again, I don't view Axel as a legitimate threat to Punk honestly so if the belt was on the line him going over would be a little odd. But, we'll see what happens. Other goings on, nothing major minus the advancement of the tag team division which could lead to a big match at Night of Champions. Ryback acting like a dink to JoJo! HAHA! TAKE THAT YOU LIL POMPOUS BITCH! I mean, take that! Wade Barrett beating built up I love, I hope he becomes legitimate for you. Not even as Bad News Barrett. He can keep giving BAD NEWS but I'd like to see him stay Wade. Was a bit strange to not see any signs of The Wyatt Family though. A solid Raw, I really have to get used to this layout.

| WWE Main Event - August 28, 2013 - Las Vegas, NV - Thomas & Mack Center (#048) | TOP STORIES - Ever since Bray Wyatt put the 'Big Red Monster' Kane out of action back at SummerSlam, he has been talking in tongues and in cheeks after what he would do next. With the 'Devil's Favourite Demon' nowhere to be seen, Wyatt was successful last Wednesday night on Main Event when he put away R-Truth in a competitive match-up. But tonight, he was getting in there with someone a lot younger, a lot more athletic and a lot more acrobatic than the man he beat last week - R-Truth's former tag team partner, Kofi Kingston. The Wyatt Family watched on from ringside as the so-called 'Eater of the Worlds' talked about how tonight was just another step for man, but another mile for Bray Wyatt. Wyatt started off with a crab like stance, almost creeping Kofi out, but the former Intercontinental Champion would not take anything from the maniacal leader of the Wyatt clan. The man from Ghana, West Africa continued to take the offense to Bray, using a series of kicks followed up with his fast-paced in-ring style. But soon Wyatt cut the momentum right out from under Kofi, a crossbody winding Kingston, and the madman methodical style of Wyatt slowed Kingston down as the mysterious Bray Wyatt picked away at the limbs of Kingston and punished him. Kofi continued to put up a fight, but it wasn't enough as Wyatt continued to beat down on Kofi as Erick Rowan and Luke Harper watched on. Kingston finally got back into the game however, firing back at Wyatt. Kofi leapfrogged, propelling him onto the second rope into a sunset flip for a near fall. Kofi swung for Trouble in Paradise, when Wyatt suddenly crabbed away from it, almost like he was in the Matrix! Wyatt caught an unexpecting Kofi with the Sister Abigail, ending the match. But it didn't stop there as Rowan and Harper came into pick on the scraps of Kingston whilst Wyatt watched on from the corner, sitting on the top rope like it was a hammock. Harper and Rowan continued to pound on Kingston when suddenly R-Truth hit the ring to make the save, the former WWE Tag Team Championship partner of Kofi with a steel chair in hand, as the Wyatt Family decided that they had had enough, leaving the ring. As Truth aided to Kofi, Bray simply laughed in between Rowan and Harper on his knees, arms divided. With that, the screen cut off.
- In recent weeks, the ballroom dancer Fandango has seemingly taken a disliking towards the Miz on WWE programming. On multiple occasions, Fandango and his partner Summer Rae have cut Miz off. Whether it be Miz hosting SummerSlam, commentating during Main Event last week, or even wrestling - Fandango and Summer Rae have been there to ruin the show for the 'Awesome One'. It has led Miz to some degree of humiliation, taking a loss to the ever-losing Heath Slater nine days ago on RAW. However last Monday night on RAW the former WWE Champion returned the favor. The Miz graced the stage to the sound of Fandango's theme with dance partner Rosa Mendes (who has not been seen on WWE television for over a year), distracting Fandango during his match with Kofi Kingston. And tonight, a similar thing happened. In an impromptu match with 'Captain Charisma', Fandango tried to keep on top of the veteran. The former World Heavyweight Champion was actually almost defeated by the dancer on two occasions - but it just was not enough to put Christian anyway. Then, just as Fandango was prepared to make another attempt at pinning Christian after a reverse STO, the exact same thing happened. With Miz and Rosa capturing Fandango and Summer Rae's attention, it was a matter of time for Christian to recover, and he simply put away the 'Ballroom Dancer' with the Killswitch, putting Christian back on track. Fandango and Summer were furious with Miz and Rosa, and you could just tell that things were starting to heat up between the 'Awesome One' and the 'Dancing One'!
- Over the past few weeks, we have seen a much more vicious side of Ryback, in a completely different context. The 'Human Wrecking Ball' that was unsuccessful earlier this year against John Cena over the WWE Championship has instead decided to take out his frustrations on other people. Those other people have consisted of fellow superstars, Divas, fans, and even kids. Nobody knows why Ryback has become the bully that he is walking the WWE today - though it is an assumption that it is related to his failure to win the big one. On Monday Night RAW, Ryback attempted to verbally put down Total Divas star JoJo for her singing abilities back at SummerSlam, where she sang the American National Anthem. Ryback was then called out by Christian, and the seasoned veteran managed to knock off a win against the 'Silverback'. However, 'Captain Charisma's efforts to knock Ryback down a step was apparently unsuccessful, as tonight on Main Event he attempted to bully Renee Young for her journalistic skills - just to be interrupted by the brave Justin Gabriel. The 'Cape Town Werewolf' was not standing for Ryback's tactics, and that's when the 'Human Wrecking Ball' issued a challenge to Gabriel. In the match, the South African attempted to bring the fight to the big bully, just for the 290 pounder to run right through him, once again shoving him down to the mat several times. At one point, the 'Human Wrecking Ball' even had Gabriel up in the air for a suplex for over thirty seconds, just to demonstrate the sheer size of the beast. Soon after came the Meat Hook clothesline, and what followed shortly after was the Shell Shocked. Ryback was dominant, and it made you wonder, who could possibly put Ryback in his place?
| RESULTS - Bray Wyatt w/Luke Harper & Erick Rowan def. Kofi Kingston at 9:23 after the Sister Abigail. A competitive re-match from RAW several weeks ago, as the 'Eater of Worlds' continued to try and distinguish the prophecy, and how he is the 'Chosen One' to control the world one mile at a time. Kofi put up a fight, but Wyatt's unorthodox and methodical style led to the finish. After the match, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper came in to continue the attack on Kingston when R-Truth with a steel chair in hand made the save, the Wyatt Family deciding to go home.
- Ryback def. Justin Gabriel at 3:20 after the Shell Shock. The much larger and dominant Ryback killed Gabriel and delivered on the beating that he promised him prior to the match, all because of the big bully belittling Renee Young's interviewing skills. Gabriel tried to mount some offense, but Ryback continued to punish him, picking him up by the neck and shoving him hard back on the canvas over and over again. Ryback tried to bully some members of the WWE Universe after the match.
- Natalya def. Alicia Fox at 5:03 after the Sharpshooter. Two former Divas Champions faced off, as the niece of Bret "Hitman" Hart was coming off of beating Divas Champion AJ Lee last Friday night on SmackDown, wanting to also beat one of AJ's anti-Total Divas supporters. Fox tried to put up a fight against Natalya, but the Total Divas star managed to put Fox away with the Sharpshooter, another win for one of the three top contenders to the Divas Championship ahead of Night of Champions. During the match, Josh Matthews and Alex Riley described Team Total Divas as being 'in shambles', arguing all of the time.
- Christian def. Fandango w/Summer Rae at 7:00 after the Killswitch. This was not intended to be a match at all, as Fandango simply came out to dance with Summer Rae and show off their dancing abilities - but that all changed when Christian cut Fandango off and challenged him to a match, stating that dancing seemed to be the only thing that Fandango did. He said that it was getting old, and Fandango seemed on the defensive, leading to this match. Fandango worked over Christian for several moments in this match, but the experienced veteran was not going to let Fandango get past him, fighting back at several moments. Then, in a scene similar to Monday Night RAW, Fandango's own theme hit, and out came the Miz once again mocking Fandango and Summer Rae by dancing with Rosa Mendes! The distraction allowed Christian to follow through with the win. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - Ryback was interviewed by Renee Young, who he proceeded to bully, as expected as of late. Ryback asked Renee if she thought she was a great interviewer, because she definitely isn't. The big man continued to talk down to Young, saying that she shouldn't even be in the WWE because her abilities as a part of the WWE's broadcast team is simply a joke. Ryback continued to belittle an intimidated Renee until Justin Gabriel interrupted, Gabriel defending Renee by laughing about how Ryback last on RAW this week. Ryback simply told Gabriel in response to meet him in the ring because he was due for a beating.
- In the second vignette from Wade Barrett, he stood in front of a green screen and talked about how success was finally coming his way as he defeated Daniel Bryan last Friday night on SmackDown inside of a steel cage. Barrett moved forward from that, reviewing the anti-establishment union set up by members of Bryan's crew, Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry, the Big Show and Dolph Ziggler. Barrett revealed that he had a match with Dolph Ziggler coming up on SmackDown this Friday, stating that he is an avid supporter of the way that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have been running the WWE as of late, and he will not let any of them mess that up. Barrett said that this Friday night Dolph Ziggler will have some bad news coming his way, because just like the beating he gave Daniel Bryan on SmackDown last week, the 'Show Off' will have his show turned off courtesy of the Barrett Bullhammer!
- The RAW Rebound video package aired, reviewing the establishment opposing Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Randy Orton and the Shield in the Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler. With Daniel Bryan not at RAW tonight it seemed, the Authority decided to make it an eight man tag team match between the anti-establishment superstars and the Shield joined by WWE Champion Randy Orton...who was not happy about this match. In an all-out war, both sides fought till the end, when Bryan emerged from the crowd and attacked Orton, scaring the WWE Champion away. The anti-Authority faction of superstars stood tall when RAW went off the air.
- A graphic aired, promoting CM Punk making an appearance this Friday night on SmackDown to talk about last Monday night on RAW.
- A vignette aired, promoting the debut of Los Matadores, two Spanish bullfighters out to make an impact in the WWE. - Advertisements aired for Night of Champions, live on pay-per-view on September 16. The advertisement was centered around the new WWE Champion, Randy Orton.
| NOTES - NXT today: NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs Rob Van Dam; Bayley vs AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship; Dusty Rhodes names the next number one contender to Bo Dallas' NXT Championship. - Superstars this Thursday: Big E Langston vs Brodus Clay; R-Truth vs Wade Barrett. - SmackDown this Friday: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam; The Big Show vs United States Champion Dean Ambrose; CM Punk addresses the WWE Universe.

| WWE NXT - August 28, 2013 - Winter Park, FL - Full Sail University (#183) | TOP STORIES - Since winning the NXT Championship from Big E Langston in what is considered by many a marginal upset back on June 12, Bo Dallas has certainly turned his back on the already disapproving NXT Universe, talking himself up as the NXT Champion and how he is the best that. Some could argue that the third-generation NXT superstar is very BOastful in what he believes in. Dallas has put away various NXT superstars challenging for his title in recent months, most recently being Leo Kruger. But tonight was a whole new test for the smug youngster's abilities, as he was put in the ring against the former WWE Champion, ECW Original Rob Van Dam. It was a hard-hitting match for Bo, as RVD mounted several kicks in Dallas' direction, each of them causing the NXT Champion to reluctantly take a breather out at ringside, as well as taunt the Full Sail audience. The arrogance of Dallas soon got under Van Dam's skin, as he came flying over the top rope with a senton splash onto Bo, causing the fans in attendance to get behind RVD completely. Dallas managed to find an opening in Van Dam's defense, pounding away at RVD aggressively with big boots and knee drops. But when push came to shove in the form of a spear, Van Dam unexpectedly kicked out, leading Bo to have to resort to other moves in his arsenal. Dallas worked on the leg of RVD and tried to put him away with the belly-to-belly suplex: both of these not having much of an effect. Van Dam fired back and tried to put Bo down with diving crossbody from the top, but for two. An even match, Bo was proving his stance despite the WWE superstar getting the better of him: and then to top it off, Van Dam went up for the Five-Star Frog Splash - but Bo was playing possum, as he got up and crotched the ECW Original! Dallas slyly powerbombed Van Dam, grabbed a handful of RVD's singlet in a roll-up and stole a huge victory - arguably the biggest in Bo's career. Dallas was quick to celebrate, but instead came the theme of the 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes. The NXT General Manager congratulated Bo on his match, talking about how convenient the timing is, because he has just decided who Bo's next top contender to the NXT Championship will be: none other than Sami Zayn! The man who fought what many are calling the 'match of the year' from last week came out to the entrance ramp, Zayn with a grin of content on his face, as Bo Dallas looked to be in a state of disapproval, upset at the revelation of his next challenger. Now the fight was on for the NXT Championship, the cowardly Bo Dallas meeting eye to eye with one of NXT's fastest rising stars in the near future.
- With time ticking away before the big clash between the Ascension and the team of Corey Graves and Adrian Neville for the NXT Tag Team Championship next week, things got hot and heavy one-on-one just one week from the big main event, as the 'Savior of Misbehavior' took on the ominous Rick Victor in a preview with both Connor O'Brian and 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' Adrian Neville at ringside. The antics of the Ascension started early on in the match, as O'Brian's presence frustrated the already dysfunctional Graves, causing Victor to gain control in the early moments. With control on his side, Victor began to manipulate the punk rocker, grounding and pounding Graves with other power moves, simply showing the carnage that he could leave in the tracks behind him. The NXT Universe were getting more and more behind Graves as the match progressed, as Victor had a cravate camel clutch locked in - but Graves managed to break out. After another attempted distraction from O'Brian at ringside, Adrian Neville decided that he had had enough of the trickery played by the Ascension members, Neville diving off of the ring steps onto O'Brian. The two brawled at ringside, where Connor eventually came out on top, delivering a devastating spinebuster onto the bottom of the ring steps on the 'Jumping Geordie'. Meanwhile back in the ring, Corey Graves had began to go to work on the leg of Victor and slapped on the Lucky 13 - when O'Brian decided that that was enough and jumped Graves! Together, the Ascension put the boots to Corey as Adrian Neville slowly got back into the ring to make the save after that huge spinebuster onto the ring steps. The numbers game proved to be too strong though, and soon enough the Fall of Man left Neville unconscious, next to his tag team partner. As the titles seemed to be in jeopardy, Renee Young interviewed the Ascension ahead of next week, as Rick Victor and Conor O'Brian seemed to be at ease thinking about conquering Graves and Neville to win the NXT Tag Team Championships. Meanwhile, trouble seemed to be stirring in the trainer's office, as cameras found Adrian Neville and Corey Graves arguing, as Graves had called 'The Man that Forgot Gravity' out on being the weak link of the team. Graves stormed out, leading dysfunction to be another element leading into the grudge match for the NXT Tag Team Championships next week!
- In the past few months, Mason Ryan has had a huge target on his back. Ryan has had to overcome the odds of various NXT superstars, as Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady have attempted to conquer the 'Colossus of Cardiff", but so has Scott Dawson - with Sylvester LeFort in his corner. After several weeks of Dawson, Enzo and 'Big Cass' trying to take down the Welsh mastodon, earlier today before NXT went on the air, Enzo and Cassady were approached by LeFort and Scott Dawson. With LeFort wanting to expand on his family of clients in NXT, and with Enzo and 'Big Cass' sharing the same issue as Dawson, LeFort attempted to recruit the two Jersey Shore natives...just to be turned down. Amore picked out Dawson's loss record, as Dawson fought back stating that they were no better. The two sides had a brief argument, which ended as Dawson called Enzo out for a match tonight. The match underway, Sylvester LeFort was the subject of discussion from commentators Tom Philips and Alex Riley, about how he applauded Alexander Rusev last week, and the effect it may have on Mason Ryan if Rusev joins cohorts with the French businessman. However in the end of this match where Dawson proved to make a name for himself in a bout between two men that have lost every single week since debuting - Enzo came out on top with the inside cradle. The Jersey boys were proud with Enzo, as 'Big Cass' held him on his shoulders in applause. The duo had won a match, but tonight they did the same thing, anything to prove that they were not SAWFT. | RESULTS - NXT Tag Team Champion Corey Graves w/Adrian Neville def. Rick Victor w/Connor O'Brian by disqualification at 8:02 after Connor O'Brian attacked Graves. The NXT Tag Team Champions have a huge match next week against the Ascension with the titles on the line - but additionally they also had to get through this match tonight, as Connor O'Brian accompanied Rick Victor to ringside. Victor was allowed to mount momentum against Graves with assistance from O'Brian, but soon enough it came down to Neville and O'Brian at ringside, and the 'Savior of Misbehavior' fired back at Victor after taking a pounding from the larger Victor. Graves was in position to lock in the Lucky 13, but O'Brian attacked Graves for the finish. After the match, the Ascension put the beatdown to Graves and Neville, flattening Neville with the Fall of Man.
- Enzo Amore w/Colin Cassady def. Scott Dawson w/Sylvester LeFort at 4:23 after the inside cradle. Amore and Colin Cassady have only won one match, and it is skeptical as to whether that win was justified, as they defeated Mason Ryan in a handicap match last month. With 'Big Cass' in his corner, they had some positive words for the NXT Universe, talking about how much they got beat up as kids - but how that was all in the past compared to tonight. Took on another man that has recently had issues with the mastodon Mason Ryan, in Scott Dawson. Dawson thought that this match would be a walk in the park, as he pounded away on Enzo, just for Amore to miraculously come back with an inside cradle, scoring an upset! Enzo and Colin Cassady were beginning to prove to the NXT Universe that they were anything but SAWFT.
- AJ Lee (c) def. Bayley to retain the WWE Divas Championship at 6:18 after the Black Widow. This was a huge opportunity for the NXT rookie, as the child-like Bayley seemed extremely pleased to be in the ring with a WWE Diva in the Divas Champion, AJ Lee. Bayley actually put up a fight with Lee and one-upped her once or twice before strutting around performing AJ's skipping taunt. Lee's crazy mind games soon got the better of the NXT Diva however, as AJ locked in the Black Widow and that was all she wrote.
- NXT Champion Bo Dallas def. Rob Van Dam at 12:39 after the roll-up. The NXT Champion was surely not expecting an easy match against the former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam, as the WWE mainstay superstar brought the fight to Bo Dallas, often more than not causing Dallas to resort to ringside. The fans were unimpressed as was Van Dam, which led to RVD coming after him, whether it was a senton plancha or simply to shove him back into the ring. Dallas inconsequentially went after the leg of Van Dam, trying to do a number on the WWE superstar. However as the match reached an end, RVD went up for the Five-Star Frog Splash - but Bo crotched RVD up there, allowing Dallas to powerbomb RVD from the top and roll him up with the tights, leading to yet another cheap victory for the NXT Champion. That all changed after the match, as NXT General Manager Dusty Rhodes made his way onto the stage and announced that the next number one contender to the NXT Championship would be none other than Sami Zayn. Zayn came out to stare down with Bo, who seemed to try and mask discontent with an awkward smile. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - Renee Young interviewed the Ascension after their beatdown of the NXT Tag Team Champions Corey Graves and Adrian Neville moments ago. Rick Victor commented that he has had enough of politics and enough of mind games in the time that they have been in NXT. Connor O'Brian concurred, talking about how they don't need to prove that they are worthy of a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship shot by beating Graves or Neville. They said that the end comes next week, because they will win the NXT Tag Team Championships - and from there, they will dominate.
- Later on in the night after the assault they received at the hands of the Ascension, Adrian Neville was being checked on in the trainer's office, as Corey Graves shouted about how he couldn't believe that that happened. Graves was hot, as he talked about how they cannot allow this to happen again. Graves said that he was not happy about Neville being his partner in the first place - but tonight proved that Neville is the weak link in their tag team. Neville rebounded, asking Graves where he gets off saying that. The two had an intense staredown before Graves walked away.
- After Bayley's match with AJ Lee, Sasha Banks and Summer Rae were shown in the backstage area complaining about their lack of a short at the WWE Divas Championship. Sasha tried to say that she deserved it especially, before Summer acted superior and mentioned that she is actually on the WWE Divas roster. She talked about how Sasha would get her chance to prove herself next week however, when Summer and Sasha take on Paige and Emma.
- In what led up to Enzo Amore's match with Scott Dawson was shown, as Enzo and Colin Cassady were confronted by Sylvester LeFort and Dawson, as LeFort attempted to recruit Amore and Cassady to their alliance to try and knock Mason Ryan down once and for all. Enzo and Colin declined, the two sides arguing when Dawson threatened to knock Enzo's lights out tonight. - A video package aired, reviewing the match of the year contender from last week on NXT, where Antonio Cesaro was able to defeat Sami Zayn narrowly in a two-out-of-three falls match.

| WWE Superstars - August 29, 2013 - Phoenix, AZ - US Airways Arena (#230) | RESULTS - Big E Langston def. Brodus Clay w/Tensai and the Funkadactyls at 4:38 after the Big Ending. The 'Funkasaurus' had the fans in the palms of his hands, and rightfully so, as this attention caught Big E Langston off-guard. Langston was riding solo tonight, seemingly distancing himself from Divas Champion AJ Lee, after losing to Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn back at SummerSlam. Big E proved to be a threat on his accord however, and this was proven in this match, as he somehow powered Clay around and powered the big man up in the air and crashed him down to the mat with the Big Ending. Tony Dawson and Alex Riley bigged Langston up as an uprising star to be messed with.
- Wade Barrett def. R-Truth at 8:15 after the Bullhammer. A hard-fought bout between the unofficial lackey of the Authority and the tough former Tag Team Champion, R-Truth. R-Truth was in full swing tonight, as Barrett repeatedly managed to cut him off and beat him down. The Englishman was out to pound away at Truth, which is what he did for several minutes before the ever-energetic Truth made a comeback and attempted to nail the 'Bare Knuckled Street Fighter' with the Little Jimmy just for Barrett to cut him off, nailing him with the Bullhammer giving Barrett the three. | NOTES - SmackDown this Friday: WWE Champion Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam; The Big Show vs United States Champion Dean Ambrose; CM Punk addresses the WWE Universe. - NXT next week: Adrian Neville & Corey Graves vs the Ascension for the NXT Tag Team Championships; Sami Zayn addresses the NXT Universe.

I thoroughly enjoy the format you use for your shows. It comes across as sort of reading the summaries from WWE.com and that's never a bad thing. I was a little worried about how this diary was going to br after the first RAW for 2 reasons. One being the fact your RAW had like 10 matches mostly with what seemed to be throwaway filler matches and the 2nd being it felt faaaar too close to what was actually happening in the WWE the Raw after Summerslam but I feel like you've brought it more into your own style and ideas and looking at it now it was genius to have it that way because it gives a flavor of how you would have splintered things off after Summerslam

| WWE Friday Night SmackDown - August 30, 2013 - Las Vegas, NV - Thomas & Mack Center (#732) | TOP STORIES - The 'Viper' was the first to make his presence felt in the Thomas & Mack Center on tonight's edition of SmackDown, as the WWE Champion came to the ring to discuss the recent changes in his life leading towards becoming WWE Champion. Randy Orton talked about how he's happy with what brought him to the dance, he's happy with everything he's been given - but it wasn't getting him to the point that he needed to be: and that is being the man on top of the mountain, the WWE Champion, the ruler of the WWE Universe, and more importantly, the Face of the company! Orton was taking 'selling out' to a whole new level tonight on SmackDown, as he talked about how he sided with Triple H, his previous mentor for many, many years. The COO said that he didn't want Daniel Bryan to become WWE Champion, or even John Cena for that matter. Orton proceeded to claim that he was the man fit for the job, to actually carry the WWE Championship with pride and dignity - unlike a man like Daniel Bryan, who would simply destroy what it meant to be the man on top of the WWE. The 'Apex Predator' got confident as he continued, talking about how he knows what business is all about, he has the right passion in his blood, and more importantly - he sells tickets! Orton said that he is the biggest asset in recent memory for the WWE, and that nobody could stop him. That is until Daniel Bryan graced the stage, a parade of YES! chants taking Las Vegas by storm, Bryan confronting Orton. Orton said that this was typical Bryan, a man that doesn't know when no means NO! Bryan told Randy that tonight he was not coming out to attack him like he did on RAW. He's just instigating a challenge to the 'Viper' - because he feels it and the WWE Universe feel that he deserves a rightful rematch for the WWE Championship. Bryan said that he may not be a worthy Face of the WWE in the eyes of Triple H, Stephanie McMahon or Randy himself - but the facts are the facts, and that is that Bryan did beat John Cena to win the WWE Championship. Orton smirked, as he reminded Daniel of the claims that he is nothing more than a B+ player - and there is no room in the WWE for a B+ player main eventing pay-per-views like an A+ player like the 'Apex Predator' himself. Orton told Daniel that if he thinks he is going to get a shot at the WWE Championship, he'd have to think again: because the answer, is NO! The fans booed, as the WWE Universe returned to YES! chants, Bryan shaking his head. With that, the former World Heavyweight Champion dove at Orton with the knee to the face, taking Orton down! Bryan had the fans chanting YES! alongside him, as Orton bailed to ringside, similar to last Monday night. Meanwhile, Orton had more things to worry about as he took on Rob Van Dam in the main event. RVD took Orton to work in a competitive main event, pounding away at the WWE Champion and putting him in his place: but that would not last for long, as Orton managed to get the win with an RKO out of nowhere. The three mercenaries in Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins then made an appearance, pounding away at Van Dam, a triple powerbomb taking Van Dam right to the canvas! The four men stood tall over an unconscious RVD before Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show and Mark Henry hit the ring, the battlelines opening up once again as eight men brawled in the ring - just for the 'Viper' to strike, an RKO for Bryan and an RKO for Dolph Ziggler! Suddenly, Wade Barrett joined the fray, taking out Mark Henry with a huge Bullhammer! The Shield and Orton were joined by a new ally, the Shield standing tall with Orton and Barrett to finish the show, but you had to believe that none of this would stop the anti-authority, five WWE superstars unhappy with the way that things were being ran, demonstrated tonight by Orton, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns!
- With Ricardo Rodriguez announcing Rey Mysterio as his client to challenge Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions, the 'Mexican Aristocrat' decided to take the night off tonight on SmackDown, simply watching on from the back as he watched the veteran little man of the WWE square off in his return to SmackDown tonight - Mysterio going one-on-one with Mr Money in the Bank, Damien Sandow. The 'Intellectual Savior of the Masses' had previously tried to get under the skin of Cody Rhodes earlier on in the night, as he came out after Rhodes' match with Drew McIntyre of 3MB and commented on how Cody may be a solid talent, but that he was nothing compared to the brilliance of the next World Heavyweight Champion. After these comments, Sandow had a lot to prove as he took on the number one contender in Rey Mysterio, in what was an incredibly diverse match with the styles of Sandow and Mysterio clashing: But the experience factor gave Mysterio an edge in this one, as Ricardo watched on in awe at ringside, Mysterio connecting with the 619 at one point - but as Rey was going in for the kill with Dropping the Dime, it would be Alberto Del Rio himself who got involved in the match, the 'Mexican Aristocrat' slipping into the ring and drilling Rey with the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Del Rio and Sandow continued to double-team the much smaller Mysterio, before Alberto locked in the Cross Armbreaker and refused to let go! But that would all change moments later, as Cody Rhodes hit the ring, a Disaster Kick to Sandow, causing Del Rio to bail. Rhodes aided to Mysterio as Ricardo talked trash to Del Rio as well: but did this strategy performed by Del Rio work, in harming Rey before their match at Night of Champions?
- After the savage beating that he received last Monday night on RAW, it was impressive to see CM Punk grace the WWE Universe with his presence tonight on SmackDown. The 'Best in the World' limped to the ring still a bit sore from the assault he received from the Singapore cane last Monday night, as Punk said that he knows many people are surprised that he is still standing, and he knows that people are surprised that he was beaten down to a bloody mess last Monday night on RAW. Punk said that any other normal guy would probably just take the beating from Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel, but unlike those people, he is a normal guy that is determined to get revenge. Punk said that it is a funny story how a man that once had his back in Paul E. Dangerously can come out and stab him in the back, and try to hide behind his clients: like Brock Lesnar, a sheer dominant shark with no passion and no love besides money and his reputation. Punk said that it does not surprise him how Heyman can be such a gravedigger, and try to claim money from his past successes. And it does not surprise him that an average Joe like Curtis Axel can get off with making a name for himself by attacking the 'Voice of the Voiceless'. Punk said that he knows one thing and that it is him and Axel facing off at Night of Champions, and whether or not he takes the Intercontinental Championship - it doesn't matter. Punk said that he came back to gain respect, and the WWE Universe will bare witness to the annihilation of Curtis Axel at Night of Champions, and once he is done beating Axel to the pulp that he himself resembled last Monday on RAW - he will focus on getting his hands on that crooked, old manager, Paul Heyman. Punk had addressed the WWE Universe with intentions of revenge on Axel and Heyman, and was now awaiting their reaction to his comments this coming Monday night on RAW.
| RESULTS - The Big Show def. United States Champion Dean Ambrose at 5:23 after the WMD. The 'World's Largest Athlete' was getting a big opportunity tonight on SmackDown in this match against a member of the Shield, as it was announced that Dolph Ziggler would be challenging Ambrose for the title at Night of Champions in two weeks. But tonight, Ambrose tried to cut down the Big Show but it proved to be too much. So much, that the Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, previously conspicuous by their absence made their way down to the ring and stalked Show, leading to Dolph Ziggler and Mark Henry making an appearance. As the four men brawled on the aisle and back up to the backstage area, Big Show laid Ambrose out with the WMD, leading to the win. The former United States Champion may have another opportunity at the title in his sights following an impressive showing tonight.
- The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger) w/Zeb Colter def. The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) at 6:27 after the Gutwrench Powerbomb by Swagger on Jimmy. A competitive tag team match to kick off SmackDown tonight, as the tag team division was once again seen to be getting heated up, over two weeks away from Night of Champions. Jimmy and Jey proved to be a standout tag team on the rise, but the teamwork of Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro proved to put the Samoans in their place. After the match, Zeb Colter had the fans in attendance chant 'We the People' in association to how the Real Americans need to represent the United States as Tag Team Champions opposing the ridiculously goofy combination of Darren Young and Titus O'Neil of the Prime Time Players. During the match it was announced by Michael Cole that the Prime Time Players would face the Real Americans this Monday on RAW.
- Cody Rhodes def. Drew McIntyre w/3MB at 3:10 after the Cross Rhodes. Cody Rhodes was able to pull out another win despite the interference by Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal in this match. Rhodes still seemed completely interested in the antics of Damien Sandow, who was on commentary during this match, running down his former tag team partner. Rhodes won after the Cross Rhodes, but after the match Mr Money in the Bank got on the microphone and ran down his former partner, talking himself up as the next World Heavyweight Champion, and how he will truly represent the WWE as the 'Intellectual Savior of the Masses' - the smartest man in WWE history to be World Heavyweight Champion.
- Big E Langston def. Sin Cara at 1:49 with the Big Ending. The powerhouse has official separated from Divas Champion AJ Lee, meaning that a path of destruction was about to reckon the course of the WWE in the name of Big E Langston. Langston took apart the Mexican luchador Sin Cara despite Cara's best efforts, but in the end Langston quickly put away Sin Cara with the Big Ending.
- Rey Mysterio w/Ricardo Rodriguez def. Damien Sandow by disqualification at 9:30 after Alberto Del Rio attacked Mysterio. Before the match, Ricardo Rodriguez performed the formal ring announcing for Rey Mysterio's return to SmackDown. Mr Money in the Bank tried to cut off the momentum of the number one contender in his first match back on SmackDown in quite some time, but the former World Heavyweight Champion used his agility to get the better of Sandow. The 'Intellectual Savior of the Masses' tried to cut off the ring and slow down the luchador, but the Mexican fired back with hurricanranas and dropkicks flying everywhere, as the masked man soon nailed the 619 and went to Drop the Dime on Sandow, just for Alberto Del Rio to hit the ring in the nick of time and drop Mysterio with the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Del Rio and Sandow proceeded to continue the beatdown on Rey until Cody Rhodes made the save for his former rival.
- The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) w/Bray Wyatt def. R-Truth & Kofi Kingston at 4:22 after the Lariat by Harper on Kofi. This was technically the first time that the WWE was host to witnessing Erick Rowan and Luke Harper in action, and they made an impact, taking on the two men that have recently had their fair share of problems with Bray Wyatt, the leader of the Wyatt clan. Kofi and Truth tried to work away at Rowan, but the much larger and bizarre Rowan fought back and in came Harper, who made short work of Kofi in an impressive debut, putting him away with the spinning Lariat. After the match, Bray Wyatt stood tall over Truth and Kingston and continued to talk about the line of destruction that the Wyatt army would bring on the WWE. He said that the chaos never ends, whereas programming may do. He claimed that he will bring down the "machine".
- WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Rob Van Dam at 13:22 after the RKO from a Five-Star Frog Splash attempt. A competitive main event, as 'Mr Friday Night' Rob Van Dam was attempting to show Randy Orton of the sins he has committed in past weeks, taking the 'Apex Predator' to work in the opening moments with his diverse utilisation of kicks and agility. Van Dam almost had the WWE Champion pinned for three on several occasions, just for Orton to kick out at every attempt. After Orton got into control, he worked over RVD, specifically the head of Van Dam, but the ECW Original managed to make a comeback yet again, getting ready for the Five-Star Frog Splash - just for Orton to be playing possum - which led to the RKO devastating his opponent, giving Orton the win. After the match, the three members of the Shield hit the ring and continued to gang up on the fallen Van Dam - which brought out Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, the Big Show and Mark Henry however, this would not last as Orton and the Shield were victorious - alongside new found ally in their base, Wade Barrett! The five men stood tall as SmackDown drew to a close. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - In an interview with the Divas Champion AJ Lee, Renee Young commented on AJ looking a lot more confident tonight than she has done in a while. AJ commented on the deterioration of the Total Divas cast, how jealousy has gotten the best of them. AJ said that all she has to do now is watch the carnage and destruction that the prima donnas leave themselves in on RAW this Monday and pick up what is left.
- Renee Young interviewed Big E Langston, who talked about how he has decided to take his success to new heights, despite the respect he has for AJ Lee. Langston talked about how he is here for one reason only: to make an impact - and that nothing would stop the Langston Powerhouse with him on the warpath.
- After witnessing the Real Americans defeat the Usos, the Prime Time Players were shown in the backstage area chatting about Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, joking about Zeb Colter. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young seemed determined to get the job done and get one step closer to the Tag Team Championships this Monday night on RAW when they face the Real Americans.
- A vignette aired, promoting the debut of Los Matadores, two Spanish bullfighters out to make an impact in the WWE.
- The RAW Rebound video package aired, reviewing the rivalry between CM Punk and his former agent and best friend, Paul Heyman. After SummerSlam in being assaulted by Brock Lesnar, the 'Best in the World' was attacked by the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. Last Monday night on RAW, the two men squared off in non-title action, a huge step up for Axel, who previously defeated Triple H before him. Punk pulled out all of the stops and got the win - but that's when Heyman struck Punk with a Singapore cane. Heyman and Axel destroyed Punk and busted him open with the Singapore cane, delivering a beating as Punk was handcuffed. With a match announced for Night of Champions, Punk was expected to have some choice words in his appearance tonight on SmackDown.
- A graphic revealed the announcement of Dolph Ziggler vs Dean Ambrose for the United States Championship at Night of Champions.

Smack Down....
Liking the sharpness of the colours.
Think I've turned the corner on the layout you've won me over. You cater to everyone's type on here now you can either read the long description at the start or zip down To the quicker results.
Must be a ballache to write though?
Smack Down was a good show liked the Orton promo to kick off, hope Bryan/Orton gets put of a little while longer at least. Always good to see the Champion coming out of the Main Event strong helps the story a lot of people forgot touches like that. Barrett tying up with the authority is a decent idea.
Mysterio/Sandow would have been fun. I like Sandow he could be a good Smack Down champion down the road.
Ziggler/Ambrose feels a little rushed not sure why, maybe because I've just read Ziggler:Ambrose in another diary.
Also your slowly building the tag division and Big E while Punk/Heyman continues to boil well. Good solid show you clearly see your starting to put your own twist on things.

| WWE Monday Night RAW - September 2, 2013 - Des Moines, IA - Wells Fargo Arena (#1057) | TOP STORIES - With shots fired from Daniel Bryan last week on Monday Night RAW and then SmackDown, from him and his fellow superstars opposing the Authority, it seemed like the power couple of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon would have Bryan and his alliance at the ready as RAW went on the air: but this was not the case. Instead, the 'King of Kings' and the 'Billionaire Baroness' were reportedly "stuck in traffic", and Bryan's stubbornness caused him to bring his rebellion out to the ring to kick off RAW instead. Bryan, alongside Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, the Big Show and Mark Henry filled up the ring and talked about what they feel they deserve in the form of equality against those in which the Authority have lined up for them. RVD said that he was annoyed at how his friend in Bryan has been treat, and how he has been treated as a result of not agreeing with Triple H and Stephanie's opinion. The Big Show said that what happened to Bryan at SummerSlam was a miscarriage of justice, and that if he got chance he would still happily knock the COO out cold. With the superstars rebelling against the Authority, Bryan alongside his peers all led the fans in Des Moines in a massive chanting of 'YES!' to a rematch for Bryan. Understandably, when 'the Game' and his wife Stephanie arrived at the building, they were not happy whatsoever with what they had heard, and immediately went to look for Bryan. When they finally found him, he was being interviewed by Renee Young about what led to his actions in recent weeks. After some arguing between the two sides, Triple H declared in the end that tonight Bryan would have to prove himself worthy of a WWE Championship shot - by defeating all three members of the Shield in a gauntlet. With the gauntlet set, it was up to the submission specialist to deliver, as the 'Apex Predator' Randy Orton watched on - telling Josh Mathews earlier on that he didn't care whether Bryan would be his opponent at Night of Champions or not, stating that he would make an example of Daniel and wipe the floor with him. Firstly, Bryan had to face Seth Rollins, as the 'YES! Man' and the high flyer of the Shield traded action competitively, an evenly matched fight between the mercenary and the contender. But after much effort from Rollins to get the job done against Bryan, Daniel managed to catch Rollins off-guard with a huge running knee to the face! With one down, Bryan was blindsighted by the ever-unpredictable member of the Shield, Dean Ambrose - who aggressively stomped away at Bryan and turned this gauntlet into a free-for-all fight; Ambrose with his crazed energy becoming unleashed almost putting Bryan away with the Headlock Driver, but unfortunately for the United States Champion; Bryan managed to slip out and lock in the YES! Lock. With the YES! Lock tightly locked in, Ambrose was about to tap out - if not for Roman Reigns to intervene, getting Ambrose disqualified and advancing Bryan to the third stage. The referee struggled to get Ambrose out of the ring to start the third and final stage of the gauntlet however, as Ambrose and Reigns continued to put the boots to the now badly hurt Bryan, a damaged shoulder as a result of undergoing two matches prior to this with no rest period. But that's when Dolph Ziggler, the challenger to Ambrose's United States Championship at Night of Champions hit the ring, the 'Show Off' trading blows with Ambrose and brawling with him out to the floor. With the two superstars brawling into the crowd and away from the ring, Reigns had Bryan set and went for the impactful Spear; but Bryan dodged it! Daniel gave it all he had in the closing moments of the match, as Reigns continuously went to work on the bad shoulder of the underdog - but just when everyone thought Bryan was done as Reigns charged at Bryan with a second Spear, Bryan caught Reigns with a huge knee to the face, and that put the third and final member of the Shield away! Bryan had finally sealed himself a deal to meet the 'Viper' at Night of Champions in two weeks time, and as Bryan celebrated with his supporters in attendance the WWE Champion himself came out to stare down Bryan - the not-such- a-rematch encounter was going down in two weeks time at Night of Champions, and you had to imagine that nothing would stop Bryan this time around.
- Last week on RAW we witnessed one of the vilest attacks in recent memory, as CM Punk emerged victorious against the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. What happened after the match was Paul Heyman, Punk's former manager and current rival striking Punk in the spine with a Singapore cane. Axel and Heyman continued to assault the 'Best in the World' with a Singapore cane, torturing him with Punk being handcuffed from the ring ropes and beaten to a bloody pulp in the ring. Punk later refused medical attention however, and Punk demanded that he gets Axel in a one-on-one match come Night of Champions. Last Friday night on SmackDown, it was announced that the Intercontinental Championship would be on the line, and that Punk only wanted two things: to return the beating and put Axel in his place, and to get his hands on Heyman once and for all. Tonight, it was Paul Heyman's turn to fire some shots in the direction of CM Punk, as the 'Twisted Genius' came out to the ring armed with Curtis Axel by his side, and began to tirade about how tough a man CM Punk was, sarcastically quoting the things that he came out with last Friday night on SmackDown. Heyman addressed how CM Punk fires shots that can break bones using only his voice: but he learned everything he has received from Paul E. Dangerously. Heyman said that he was the man that opened the door for Punk when nobody else would - he got him here, and there is nothing that Punk can say to counteract that. Paul said that in two weeks time he is confident that it will be the 'Chosen One's chance to shine, and once again for a third month in a row we will see the carcass of the 'Voice of the Voiceless' laid out on the canvas broken and beaten down - and it's all because of the genius of Paul Heyman. Heyman continued, stating that he is so confident about this match in two weeks time that his client Curtis Axel has put the Intercontinental Championship on the line, and he is so confident that he is willing to put another cherry on top of the cake that is CM Punk's demise: that if it does happen, and the 'Best in the World' manages to beat Curtis Axel one-two-three - then he can have another match, with Paul Heyman himself. Paul said that Punk can try to say that Paul Heyman is hiding behind his clients is completely hypocritical of everything Punk has done for the past nine years, and when it comes down to it on Sunday, September 16, 2014, we will see the entire future change forever: and it's all because of what Curtis Axel will do to CM Punk, CM Punk's past, CM Punk's future, and CM Punk's entire legacy and purpose in the WWE. Heyman was passionate about this, wanting to wipe the stain that is CM Punk out of his life and out of the WWE forever.
- With Ricardo Rodriguez making it official last Monday night on RAW for his former ally Alberto Del Rio to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against an old enemy in Rey Mysterio at Night of Champions, the 'Mexican Aristocrat' also had problems when it came to Cody Rhodes, who made the save for Mysterio from a two-on-one beatdown at the hands of Del Rio and Mr Money in the Bank Damien Sandow. Vickie Guerrero proceeded to make the match official, a tag team match tonight on RAW as it went off just prior to the end of the second hour. With the World Heavyweight Champion teaming up with Mr Money in the Bank however, Del Rio was suspicious of the 'Intellectual Savior of the Masses' - which could have been bad for their alliance in this outing with two rivals, Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes. In a competitive tag team contest, Rhodes and Mysterio shone against Del Rio and Sandow, which forced the Mexican to form an alliance with the intellectual - Sandow and Del Rio making a pact to go after the arm of Cody Rhodes and ground him away from the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Rey had the fans in rhythm however, as he tried to get Cody back into the match and a position to make the tag - and he finally made it. Rey dove in and immediately threw himself at Del Rio with a fast array of offense, Mysterio reminding Del Rio about the kind of WWE superstar he is: originating from lucha-libre. Mysterio soon was intervened as Del Rio made a hot tag to Sandow, and with Mysterio not realizing, Sandow came in to beat away at Rey. The fans were hot for Cody to get back into the match, and he did shortly after, but it was not to be as he went for a diving crossbody on Del Rio just for Del Rio to kick him to the canvas in mid-air. The wise World Heavyweight Champion followed up quickly, locking in the Cross Armbreaker and stealing the win from Rhodes. The fans in Des Moines were unimpressed, but then this escalated as Del Rio suddenly kicked Mysterio upside the head as he tended to Cody! The assault continued as Del Rio pounded away at Rey - whilst Sandow had his Money in the Bank briefcase and repeatedly slammed it down onto the arm of Cody! Rhodes was in a bad way as Ricardo Rodriguez could not do a thing about it - and then Sandow placed Cody's injured arm over the steel steps before slamming the metal briefcase over the arm repeatedly! This caused Cody to cry out in pain and have to be helped to the back by officials and Ricardo. Del Rio and Sandow stood tall tonight, but could they co-exist knowing that Damien was now free to get in the way of the 'Mexican Aristocrat'? | RESULTS - Wade Barrett def. Dolph Ziggler at 8:45 after the Bullhammer. The newly announced challenger to the United States Championship had a chance to get payback on the 'Bare Knuckled Street Fighter', who joined the Shield and Randy Orton in their beatdown of the anti-authority superstars last Friday night on SmackDown. A back and forth battle, which the 'Show Off' almost had won with a fameouser, if not for the pesky Dean Ambrose coming out to distract Ziggler: which led to Barrett knocking Ziggler out with the Bullhammer, giving the Brit the win. After the match, Barrett continued to put the boots to Ziggler, if not for Rob Van Dam to make the save, running Barrett away from the ring.
- The Funkadactyls (Naomi & Cameron) def. The Bella Twins (Brie Bella & Nikki Bella) at 3:10 after the Rear View by Naomi on Nikki Bella. With these two teams of Divas feuding in recent weeks, the four members of the cast of Total Divas had escalated problems as Naomi and Brie Bella prepared to challenge for competition for the Divas Championship in two weeks at Night of Champions. Nikki and Brie worked together to work away at Cameron, before Naomi got the tag and managed to get the spotlight win over Nikki. Brie was vexed after the match, as it seemed another match was on the horizon for the two teams from Total Divas. On commentary, Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield touted Divas Champion AJ Lee and Layla taking on Natalya and Kaitlyn on Main Event this Wednesday.
- Ryback def. Christian at 4:04 after the Shell-Shocked. After managing to get a win against the big bully last week, the 'Human Wrecking Ball' was even more aggressive tonight against 'Captain Charisma', seeking retribution for the win Christian got last Monday night on RAW. Christian put up a fight, but it was no match for the big guy as he continued to beat away at Christian, eventually putting him down with the Shell-Shocked. After the match, Ryback continued his attack on the veteran; slapping the former World Heavyweight Champion around and powerfully gorilla pressing Christian over the barricade onto concrete.
- Big Show & Mark Henry def. 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal) at 1:40 after the World's Strongest Slam by Henry on McIntyre. It seemed like a challenge initially for the 'World's Largest Athlete' and the 'World's Strongest Man' to get the job done in putting down three men - but with the reputation that 3MB have been given in the last six months made for a one-sided affair, as RAW General Manager Brad Maddox had caved in and given Show and Henry a shot at the Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions. Show and Henry dominated, gaining an easy win to ignite some fear in the camp of the Shield.
- Kofi Kingston w/R-Truth def. Erick Rowan w/Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper at 3:20 after the sunset flip. This was our first opportunity to get a look at Erick Rowan, the ginger mammoth of the Wyatt Family in a follow-up of the issues running high between the Wyatts and Kofi Kingston alongside R-Truth. Last Friday night on SmackDown, the Wyatts were dominant against Kofi and Truth in tag team action, but the West African put up a lot more of a fight tonight as Bray Wyatt spectated from his rocking chair in the aisleway. Luke Harper tried to lend Rowan a hand during the match just to get intercepted by R-Truth, leading to a sunset flip by Kofi getting a huge upset win. However after the match it was the Wyatts mounting an assault on Kofi and Truth, as Bray laid Kofi and Truth out with a Sister Abigail each. The Wyatts seemed to be in full control once again tonight.
- World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio & Damien Sandow def. Rey Mysterio & Cody Rhodes w/Ricardo Rodriguez at 12:23 after the Cross-Armbreaker by Del Rio on Rhodes. This was a dramatic bout that intensified after Friday Night SmackDown, all leading to this match. With Rhodes previously feuding with Sandow and having a competitive match last week on RAW with the World Champion, they were tied into this situation between the 'Mexican Aristocrat', the veteran luchador Rey Mysterio and Del Rio's former personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez. This was a tense bout, as the World Heavyweight Champion seemed suspicious of Mr Money in the Bank Damien Sandow - but the two got past it and maintained a decent partnership, going after the arm of Cody Rhodes. The two worked on it effectively before Mysterio got the hot tag and targeted Del Rio: just for Sandow to intercept. Rhodes made the tag and after a botched diving crossbody, Del Rio locked in the Cross Armbreaker and refused to let go for the win. After the match though, Sandow wanted to do some more damage to Rhodes as he took the Money in the Bank briefcase and slammed it over Cody's damaged arm as it was placed on the ring steps.
- The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil & Darren Young) def. The Real Americans (Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger) w/Zeb Colter at 5:22 after the Clash of Titus on Swagger. After several weeks of the Real Americans targeting the fraternity boys in the Prime Time Players, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young wanted to prove themselves worthy as future contenders to the Tag Team Championships, which they did firstly by cutting off Zeb's pre-match comments to non-Americans in the arena. Although Cesaro and Swagger put up a fight, in the end of the match it was the Prime Time Players prevailing victorious.
- Daniel Bryan def. The Shield (Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns & United States Champion Dean Ambrose) in a Gauntlet match in 27:10. This match was for another opportunity at the WWE Championship for Bryan, as the 'YES Man' went up against all three members of the Shield and had to defeat them all just to get a shot at Randy Orton at Night of Champions in two weeks. During the match, the 'Apex Predator' was seen watching the bout on a television alongside Triple H and Stephanie McMahon watching the bout. After a highly competitive battle with Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan put Rollins away with the running knee to the face at 12:21. In came Dean Ambrose, and the United States Champion was aggressive in targeting the arm of Bryan worked away at by Rollins beforehand. After another competitive bout between Ambrose and the former WWE Champion, Bryan locked in the YES Lock just for Roman Reigns to attack Bryan, causing the disqualification against Ambrose at 23:05. Fortunately for Bryan, Dolph Ziggler came out to brawl with his Night of Champions opponent Ambrose, giving way for Bryan to face Roman Reigns in the third and final stage. After much more work from Reigns over the shoulder of Bryan, Daniel managed to make the comeback, blocking a Spear and nailing Reigns with his knee to the face, giving him the win at 27:10 overall. As Bryan celebrated in the ring, out came Orton who stared Bryan down from the rampway, the WWE Championship match official for Night of Champions. | OTHER HAPPENINGS - After the tag team bout between Alberto Del Rio and Damien Sandow with Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes, the cameras went to the backstage area where Cody Rhodes was shown to be in complete agony over the condition of his arm as a result of the metal Money in the Bank briefcase being slammed down repeatedly over his arm and the steel steps moments ago. Rey Mysterio and Ricardo Rodriguez were with him, as Rhodes was told he would need to go to the hospital immediately with his potentially broken arm.
- Prior to the tag team bout, the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio was warming up in his locker room before being approached by Damien Sandow. His partner for tonight, the 'Mexican Aristocrat' was reminded about how Sandow was Mr Money in the Bank and could cash in at any time he pleased. Del Rio tried to laugh off his reminder, before telling the 'Intellectual Savior of the Masses' that while that was true, he wanted to clear things up in that it better not be tonight where Sandow chooses to cash in his briefcase - because bad things would happen. Sandow told Del Rio that he was listening, as the two continued to talk strategy prior to their match with Cody Rhodes and Rey Mysterio.
- Prior to the main event Gauntlet match, the Shield tuned into the RAW stream using their handheld camera as the trio discussed everything that was going on tonight on RAW. Dean Ambrose started off, stating that it seems as though things just got interesting with so much going down in the WWE today. The United States Champion addressed Dolph Ziggler and called him 'flamboyant' in an inappropriate place, because he did not yet realize what kind of an individual he is - describing himself as 'dangerous', 'resilient' and more importantly for the 'Show Off' - 'real'. Seth Rollins followed up, as he said how cowardly it is for Big Show and Mark Henry to gang up on a corporate servant like that. Rollins said that nonetheless, it doesn't bother them, because they have a lot more wit than Big Show and Mark Henry, and that they would shock the world when they successfully defended their Tag Team Championships in two weeks at Night of Champions. Roman Reigns finished off, discussing the actions of Daniel Bryan, and how Bryan wants to become the little man peaking at the top of the mountain: but that if he really wanted it that way he would need to get past three of the toughest, most vicious men the WWE has ever seen: Reigns said that they follow Triple H's orders for no reason other than because they want to, because it is exactly what justice should be: served brutally in the eyes of Daniel Bryan. The three concluded, stating that tonight would be Bryan's final goodbye at challenging for the WWE Championship.
- In the backstage area, RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was still in charge of directing WWE production staff backstage awaiting the arrival of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. That is when the Big Show and Mark Henry cornered Maddox, continuing their rebellion against the Authority. After some threats, the two larger superstars told Maddox that they could play things the nice way or the hard way - by giving them a shot at the Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at Night of Champions. As Maddox was hesitant, Mark Henry grabbed Brad by his collar and raised a fist - causing Maddox to cry out in fear and giving them the match! Show and Henry left a frightened Maddox alone in near tears - but you could imagine that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon weren't happy about this later on when they arrived - giving Maddox a verbal lashing backstage and telling Brad to do something about this immediately: giving Show and Henry a punishment for their actions. Maddox was scared of losing his job and told the power couple that he would do anything to help their cause. They seemed irate at Maddox's actions.
- Prior to Erick Rowan's match with Kofi Kingston, Bray Wyatt and his Wyatt Family were shown in the darkness, as Wyatt cut a promo on Kofi and R-Truth, calling them brave, brave little boys in a big man's world - his world. Bray said that everybody is yet to witness his master scheme to take control and unleash Erick Rowan and Luke Harper onto the world. Bray said that people may intercept, people may resist his words and comments and pass them off as mythology - but there is nothing mythic about what he is saying when it gets down to it. Bray said that soon enough, their rise will take place - and when that rise happens, it will be everybody else's fall.
- The Miz was shown walking down a corridor getting ready for action against Fandango tonight alongside Rosa Mendes - that is until Fandango appeared and attacked the 'Awesome One' as Summer Rae joined in, a pull-apart brawl between the four ensuing, seemingly effectively calling off their match tonight.
