I appreciate what Kane has done of the business, but to me, the character has run his course and anything he's done recently is doing nothing but tainting his legacy. It's so immensely hard to care about him as a character. There's nothing special or menacing about him anymore. Team Hell No is the first time he's been legitimately entertaining to me since 2003, and even that ruined what little luster there was left to his character because he was entirely comedic.
You can't just take the guy off TV for a couple of weeks, then have him show up again and start the "monster" gimmick all over again. It doesn't work, but that hasn't stopped them from trying non-stop for years.
Kane is one of those guys that makes me groan every time his music hits. There's just nothing left for him.

He is possibly the greatest worker the company has ever had and he does anything that is asked of him. He is 100% selfless and constantly puts over young guys and to be truthful the WWE should try to hold on to him as long as they can because they will never have a guy like Kane again.
However the way he is being used on tv is appalling. What is the exact reason for him being HHH's lackey and what happened to him when the Wyatt Family kidnapped him? Not of that has ever been explained very bad booking indeed.

Hopefully soon. He was legit one of my favorites back in the day, but I have come to just despise seeing him recently. Same. As a child he really scared me when he debuted, now it's just sad to see him not be even half of who he used to be.

I enjoy Kane, always have and always will. There are only SO many things you can do with this guy and the "E" has pretty much done them all. I'm guessing he'll retire soon enough. He just opened up some finance company or insurance company and that's going to keep him active for the rest of his life.
Kane is a great worker and probably one of the top 5 "business" guys the WWE ever had. Meaning they will do whatever is asked of them for the business.

I love Kane, I always will. His character is one of the best from the WWE Machine. He was one of my favorites with Jeff Hardy. I wasn't a fan of him unmasking, but it kept his character fresh. I was a fan of Team Hell No. I wish they would've stayed a tag team for a bit longer. I didn't mind Coporate Kane. I actually liked bits and pieces.
Recently when he became "The Demon", which by the way is the DUMBEST nickname ever, he has become so stale, and I'll leave it at that.

I wish. But just like The Undertaker, he can't defeat father-time.

He's a versatile performer who has lasted way longer than expected. He's been given some of the worst angles ever to work with, but he does his best and has been very successful. That being said, he doesn't belong in the title picture right now.

I wish. But just like The Undertaker, he can't defeat father-time Brock Lesnar. Fixed. Father Time ain't the 1 in 21-1.

I can't take him serious as a monster heel anymore after the hell no angle. Speaking of that, I'd love to see him return to being that type of face. His angles with Daniel and the therapist were someone of the high lights of 2012- 2013

Brock will be the 4 in 7-35013503850138058130958309t485948589820958320573754* *(going over Kane's entire run as Kane though his WrestleMania record is not much different)

I was a huge fan of Kane from 1997 until 2003.
then came the Shane McMahon feud where the "monster" struggled against dancing Shane O Mac(and his planet sized ego).
The Kane character NEVER recovered from that. Any chance of recovery when he regained his mask was obliterated by Cena.
The man has flipped flopped from Comedy act to "grr bad guy" way too often to be credible anymore.

His testicles were electrocuted, he was attacked in hospital and Kane defeated him on 2 PPV's. Yes Shane got the upper hand at times but so has everyone that has fought Kane, even from 1999/2003 look at X-Pac for example.

Am I the only one to cringe when Stephanie calls him "The Demon Kane"?

Hes just not convincing nowadays. He lost to The Shield at Wrestlemania in three minutes, Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules and Cena in a Stretcher match on Raw. Hes been called "The Demon" (which is cheesy as ) but can't get any wins. I can't buy him saying that he can win the championship at Money In The Bank or Battleground.

Holy sh*t.......Shane was NOT a wrestler. its ok for X-Pac and whoever else and to get the upper hand. The fact you think Shane should be treated like a full time wrestler probably makes my response a waste of time.....but Ill do it anyway. It was Shane McMahon....... he should NEVER have been presented as Kane's equal......therein lies the struggle. And he DID struggle with Shane. How did they hope to preserve his monster aura when Shane was such a challenge to him? obviously a wrestler should have been Linda's champion and fought heroically not the dancing clown Shane O mac.....I remember reading he wouldn't get color in the ambulance match either.......further diluting the concept.

Hopefully soon. He was legit one of my favorites back in the day, but I have come to just despise seeing him recently. That's far too extreme to my estimation. Him not wearing the mask any more might make him look a bit less silly, and more viewable.
