He should train Wrestlers or work backstage when he hangs up the boots just to still stay around and make occasional appearances, but now he's just pretty dull and boring.

Team Hell No was his last hurrah. I accepted him in the corporate Kane role and it would've been nice for him to gradually fade away after a while and finally retire. But this last run with him back in the mask has ruined the whole character worse that Triple H screwing a dummy ever did.

When you have a masked wrestler, be it Kane, Rey Mystero, Vader, and they take their mask off and wrestle without it and then come back with the mask, their charm is lost. The fact that following Team Hell No, he just took his mask and hair off, did the Corporate thing, and then put it on easily is a tough pill to swallow. There's no charm to it, the fact that its interchangeable so easily killed it.
That being said, he still has some left in him, and he's a good presence if used properly, which following Team Hell No hasn't been utilized well.
I think the prime age a wrestler should stop in ring action is about the 50 year old mark, which he is approaching. After that, you just physically can't keep up with the younger guys. He shouldn't retire and disappear however, just take a non-active role.

I'd be okay if he were to retire after a feud against Luke Harper.
I need that feud to happen.

^ At 30 now, he's pretty much the sole reason I still even bother to continue keeping up with WWE. For me, I haven't enjoyed the product anywhere near as much as I did in the 90's to maybe 2008 or so. I'm familiar with the majority of the current roster but I still don't get the same feeling as I did years ago and don't watch anywhere near as religiously as I once did in the past. At least with him still around it actually gives me a reason to still care to tune in. Once he's gone the more I'm more than likely not going to care about what's going on in the WWE. Loyal, hardworking, dedicated to his line of work and under appreciated is a ****ing understatement... To me, he's my version of the greats like Shawn, Bret, Taker, Flair, Rock, Stone Cold, etc, etc, etc. My absolute favorite wrestler and character of all time. I'll be sad as hell when he's gone.

The trouble with Kane is, they still bill him as this Demon or Monster, but he's just your average guy in an outfit. He simply doesn't have that presence to him anymore, which probably wasn't helped by his ridiculous comedy acts he done with Daniel Bryan, Hurricane and other Tag Partners over the Years. The unmasking didn't necessarily damage him IMO, as I loved his first run in 2003 without the Mask, and his more recent World Heavyweight Championship reign was some of his best ever Work. This may sound stupid, but for me a lot of his aura went as soon as his mask changed from covering his whole face to just his eyes.

No other wrestler has been able to survive for almost 20 years with so many horrendous story lines and gimmicks.
