i am second guessing his elite 30 figure as well, but i might just buy his guardians of the galaxy figure, they nailed the  out of that one, but bluetista is a definite buy |

LOVED GotG! I changed my mind about E30 Batista when I saw it at SDCC. I might paint his attire, but the tattoos are perfection.

Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing!! I bought the marvel legends as soon as they became available! Also, E30 Bastisa looks awesome!

Yes I live by a strict guideline of rules and that is one of many. No I'm just not into this decade long superhero movie fad whatsoever. Saw the first couple and that was that. Not into that crap at all. |

Saw the first couple and that was that. Not into that crap at all. I mean what movies did you watch though, superhero films have evolved a ton since the early 2000s? To each their own but plenty of the greatest movies of the last decade have been superhero films, specifically what Marvel/Disney has done and is doing. Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America 2 are two of the best films I've ever seen, comic book genre or otherwise. Batista was absolutely sensational in Guardians. He nailed Drax, which is a comic book parallel that you're probably not interested in if you don't like the films, let alone the actual comics. His comedic timing was pretty impressive. His finger to throat joke towards the end was one of the funniest lines of the entire movie, which was a film filled with funny moments. I've always been really hard on Batista, and I'll likely never like him too much as a worker but he really shined in Guardians. I was already planning on buying his Bluetista figure because I think it's hilarious, plus the Shield vs Evolution matches were amazing imo, but I've definitely got a new outlook on the guy. I watched his Beyond the Ring bio last night on Netflix too and started looking at older Mattel figures to get of him, since his Guardians figure was the first Batista I've ever owned. I think it will be a lot easier for me to look at Batista the entertainer over Batista the "wrestler" moving forward. He was good in Riddick too, so this might start becoming a trend for him. I was already invested in the idea of Brock vs Batista, but I'm now looking at it as a feud where I would support Batista as a big returning babyface. I'm willing to apologize to Batista if I ever meet him, I feel like a d*ck. |
