I saw this posted on Reddit and it was just too good not to share:
They showed a backstage skit last night where Adam Rose looked into the Oculus mirror, in which he saw himself as a guy in a suit with a briefcase. Here's a video of that same skit with what he SHOULD have seen and trust me... we all would've freaked if it had happened:

I've said this on Tumblr before but I'd love Rose to slowly transform into Leo Kruger week after week. Like slowly snapping and beating up Rosebuds, getting less colorful gear each week, not feeling the crowd-dive before a match...eventually Kruger comes out in him.

Love it. I think the ceiling for Leo Kruger is FAR higher than that of Adam Rose.

Love it. I think the ceiling for Leo Kruger is FAR higher than that of Adam Rose. I'd agree, especially considering it would appear as though the ceiling for Adam Rose has already been reached. And then the support let go and it lowered a few feet. |

I would have loved this but I can't imagine we'll ever see the Leo Kruger character on WWE TV. I think in a sense, it's a little too close to the Bray Wyatt character.

He should've seen Big Johnny wishing him his best in his future endeavors, because that really appears to be the only thing for Rose to look forward to.
If they just left him as Leo Kruger in the first place, he'd probably be much better off.

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't see the appeal of the Leo Kruger character. I don't know a whole lot about it, honestly. It does seem a little reminiscent of Wyatt, at least enough so that WWE wouldn't want to have them working the same shows at the same time. My feelings more or less come from seeing this guy bust his ass with a gimmick that's clearly failed already. I'd just like to see him given a chance to prove himself with something else. |

Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't see the appeal of the Leo Kruger character. There is NO room for comedy characters in the IWC's world of wrestling. So by default a former gimmick that was nowhere near being a comedy act is more favorable. Ta ta lemons. |

I think they are replacing Santino with Rose.
Which is cool, Rose is fun, I just wish the crowd would react to him more.

Screw it, I'll say it.... I love Adam Rose. I've loved him since his NXT debut, but he hasn't been working on the main roster. I don't know if it's just a case of "works in smalltime wrestling, doesn't work in big time wrestling" like Gail Kim had, but he just isn't catching on in the major leagues. |

I think his biggest problem right now is that he's just a fancy entrance and not much else. Hopefully these backstage segments will help flesh him out and people will start to get to know him better. I don't hate him or love him but I want to see more to him.

I agree, but I think WWE is to blame. I wish he got to keep the same rosebuds from NXT. They had a better feel to them. And I wish WWE would give the fans a reason to get behind him. All he's done is dance out to beat Sandow & Fandango within minutes. Hard for the fans to care if they aren't given a reason to. |
