I'm a collector, but sometimes feel like a hoarder, especially considering the fact that as a customizer I started getting carried away with the idea of having the same superstar in various outfits, including obscure attires. Long story short, I'm in the process of streamlining, and I have struggled with the idea of having just 1 of each superstar in my collection, which is tough considering the time period of my collection 84-89 possibly to 92.
Issues I have are :
Adorable Adrian Adonis
Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Don Muraco
Greg Valentine
Brutus Beefcake
Haku
Andre the Giant (face or heel)
Haku
Shawn Michaels
Macho Man (face or heel)
I'm sure there are many many more examples, I'd love to see some more, and also hear opinions, and suggestions.

I would choose 1 guy to be an exception, say Andre is your favorite wrestler, so you can get all his versions, and I would just get different versions of guys only if it were a gimmick change such as Hulk to Hollywood Hogan for instance.

It's hard for me to make exceptions, because I keep trying to make them for others, like having Strike Force because they were champs, and then still having Tito as IC champ, and Martel as the Model.

It's hard for me to make exceptions, because I keep trying to make them for others, like having Strike Force because they were champs, and then still having Tito as IC champ, and Martel as the Model. Exactly ! and it can drive you  June and you gotta avoid all the tie ins as funny as that sounds so Im focusing on 85 to 87 ish WWF and staying pretty focused on the whole Piper and Orton and the pit , Bad Andre , Hulk , onederful and even a dash of Fuji and Muraco and all the managers . What can you say about that timeline for tag teams and I really wanna create a Can/Am connection as I have no use for the Model but Im staying focused on my ring with the SNME theme and MULTIPLES of all my wrestlers in that era for great variety of attire but all and all you gotta do what makes you happy and not crazy  Remember I get first crack at your Johhny V  |

Here are some examples I my dilemma: -Jesse "The Body" Ventura Color Commentator or Wrestler?  -Don Muraco Heel or Babyface?  -Tito Santana This ones a bit tricky, because since I'm stretching this to 92, I can include my El Matador custom to the pic below  -King Haku or Haku & Tama "The Islanders"  |

June thats all fine its just multiples but if your gonna try Martel as a example thats to many different ties , Model , Can Am , Strike Force ect . IMO Haku is one of the best sculpts Jakks ever did

June thats all fine its just multiples but if your gonna try Martel as a example thats to many different ties , Model , Can Am , Strike Force ect . IMO Haku is one of the best sculpts Jakks ever did Martel is a tough one, because I loved the early days of the Model gimmick, but he held tag gold in Strike Force, and was enroute to it with Can Am Connection. My impulse is to go with Can Am Martel just to include Tom Zenk into my streamlined collection. |

I think I can Mod a Zenk and Ralphs with make me some Jackets , Ringside is fixing the Andre order 5 o clock shadows Andres are on there way and please check my Jakks thread in a few minutes as I need your opinion on my Kids in the crowd situation thanks PS : what a waist on strike force and Brain busters at least they could have made the jackets removable , so one dimentional |

I think I have just re-written a bit of WWF history.
Rather than have Lucious Johnny appear as a jobber, or manager of the 2nd rate Dream Team, I'm going to have him lead the Original Dream Team.
Since there will be no Brutus "the Barber" Beefcake in my display, and since Piper will be a heel (as he should be) that pretty much makes flamboyant Adorable Adrain Adonis obsolete in that gimmick, which allows Dick Murdoch into my display along with the biker version of Adonis.
Now the tough decision of The Genious over Leaping Lanny Poffo.
