He's good, but he needs to change things up. His promos always revolve around the same stuff.

Wyatt is very talented on the stick.....no two ways about it but sometimes he needs to focus and not wander as much. Variety is also becoming an issue.
I wouldn't put him in Foleys league yet mind you....but the man is on the right path.

Bray Wyatt is just another example of how wrestling isn't ready for intellectual content. I know fans on the internet always say they want more adult content and more developed stories but the WWE demographic isn't conducive to that kind of content. Fans, in general, need something that's simple to follow, that fundamental good versus evil. When guys come along like Jake, Raven, Foley, Wyatt, and they cut these metaphorical masterpieces, that are often times long winded, fans lose interest, primarily because they just don't have the tension span to sit through it. Wrestling has always been "dumb fun" and these intellectually psychotic characters blow by that stereotype. Also, think about your younger audience. 10 year old me wouldn't have the slightest ing idea what Bray Wyatt was talking about. I think last night was brilliant. Bray was gushing emotion. I didn't know if he was going to cry or stab Jericho's eyes out. I have nothing but great things to say about the guy. He's quite easily the best character on the roster right now imo, and he seems to eat, sleep, and breath that gimmick. I'm just trying to appreciate every second of it because the fans are fickle and you really just never know when a guy like him will be totally taken for granted. I read in a magazine a few weeks back that he actually got certain tattoos because he thought thats what a guy like Bray Wyatt would have.

That's what I'm referring to when I say he has Mick Foley's gift.
Do I think he's as good as Foley yet? No.
However, he has one hell of a way of getting his character over and thinking outside the box to make his character so much more interesting and give it more depth than whatever the writing team could come up with.

I enjoy Bray but I feel that he gets you a little lost in his promo's, to the point where you have no idea what he is talking about. Gets to where I dont even pay attention cause I'm so lost. Does Wyatt work off a script or does he make the stuff up himself?

Yeah, that's ing nuts and exactly what I'm talking about haha. I didn't even know that but I think you can tell he has that kind of commitment just by watching him.

Everytime I see Bray with a mic, I get excited. While I agree that his promos tend to be predictable and lack much variety, he delivers them so well that I cannot help but be a huge fan. Wrestling needs more story tellers, this guy will go places and be remembered for years to come even if he never wins a title. With Vince and Triple H in charge? Not happening, they'll stick to their boring yes men who don't stand up for themselves when they get told to do something stupid. Which is why a phenomenal talent with Vince's ideal look was let go, he tried to act up. They'll toss money out the window to prove a point. I wish WCW was still here. I enjoy Bray but I feel that he gets you a little lost in his promo's, to the point where you have no idea what he is talking about. Gets to where I dont even pay attention cause I'm so lost. Does Wyatt work off a script or does he make the stuff up himself? No, and notice the quality difference. You think this creative team could write anything close to this? No, they write "I'll see you Sunday! We're going to fight!". Which is why ratings drop, sub count won't go up and the business is on the decline.

Not the biggest fan of Bray. Charismatic, but he doesn't really have substance. I hear him, I don't listen.

That's at least an entire step further than CM Punk was willing to go for creative haha. That's why it's good though. Letting these guys develop their own content is going to be better 9 times out of 10 when the guy doing the talking is capable of getting it over. No one understands a gimmick better than the guy playing it, and that's something that is so sadly lost in the 2014 world of WWE.

Honestly, and I may get hate for this, but that sit down promo was egh at best. He instantly lost me. "You're a disappointment to your old man, Chris." ...How? By being the first Undisputed Champion ever? The record holder for most Intercontinental Championship reigns? Multi-time tag team champion? Successful rock star? Actor? Yea, Bray, he's a real let down. When the foundation for you promo is made of tin foil and you're delivering a 3 ton promo, the base crumbles, and it means nothing. I think Bray is very talented, but that segment on RAW, specifically, wasn't great. Exactly. Bray is hit or miss for me. His delivery is great, but the words often lose me. Foley's delivery and words were always spot on.
