That Blackman theme is the best piece of music WWE has ever produced if you ask me.

That Blackman theme is the best piece of music WWE has ever produced if you ask me. It's a good one. It was actually used as a theme for one of the in Your House events (I believe) before they gave it to Blackman.

I thought this was going to be about themes like The Rocks biggie smalls rip-off theme.
Those were all great themes though.

Very interesting. I don't even remember this one. If it wasn't for WWF Attitude I wouldn't have remembered it either

Yep, Badd Blood (IYH:18) - one of the reasons why that PPV is one of my all-time favourites

Not from 1998 but I'd say this theme is pretty forgotten

I don't remember this being the Acolytes theme, I remember this being Kurrgans theme though. Also agree that Steve Blackman's first theme is one of the greatest pieces of music ever produced. Not from 1998 but I'd say this theme is pretty forgotten I actually remember this, I still think this gimmick could have gone somewhere, probably nothing above IC title level but Snow did a great job playing the jealous 3rd wheel to the Rock n Sock Connection in late 99. Unfortunately right after this he became part of Head Cheese -_-

The Acolytes used it initially when they were with the Jackyl in late 1998. It was just before they joined the Ministry of Darkness. I think it's sort of just "Jackyl's Clients" theme.

That Blackman theme is the best piece of music WWE has ever produced if you ask me. The WWE didn't produce that Steve Blackman theme. It was a production song called "Groundshaker" and it was from Focus Music. Prior to Blackman using it, it was used as the theme to Badd Blood: In Your House and then Aguila used it on the November 3rd, 1997 RAW. Blackman didn't debut "Groundshaker" till the December 15th, 1997 RAW.

Dan Severn's theme to me, was always bad ass. I wish someone who was more over or was planning and being with the company for a while would of had it.

When Severn's theme hit, you know someone's bones were gonna snap. Shame they never did more with him vs. Shamrock.

Whilst not forgotten, I still say Gangrel had the best theme in the Attitude Era (followed by 'Takers ministry theme).
I always liked the Brawl For All theme, the only good thing about that tournament.

I always loved Steve Blackman's 1998 theme song. Was a lot better than his 2nd theme, but that one was pretty cool too.

I always thought Dan Severn's theme song was just the DX theme song slowed down and with no words to it.

Here is some solid information on some of these themes above:
- "Rough Rock" from Abaco was first used as the Halloween Havoc 1996-1997 theme. Marc Mero later adopted it was his WWF theme on the October 6th, 1997 RAW - Dan "The Beast" Severn's theme was used as Dr. Death Steve Williams' theme in WWF Attitude for the PlayStation/Nintendo 64/Dreamcast. A variation of this theme was used by Tajiri on the October 20th, 1997 RAW - There is nothing much to say about the Brawl For All theme. It became the basis for the XFL theme as well "Domination" which was used by Ezekiel Jackson - The Acolytes' first theme was originally used by Kurrgan on the December 8th, 1997 RAW. It is called as the Jackyl Theme because nobody knows the official title. The Acolytes began using this theme on the December 6th, 1998 episode of Sunday Night Heat
