I think it's pretty awesome. He seems cut out for that kind of thing and I believe it's a good sign they are willing to let him do something like this so early in his career.
He wasn't coming out on top of the Rollins feud. It just wasn't going to happen. So I think removing him from TV during the fall to shoot the movie and then having him return to a huge return around Rumble is probably a great move. You want to leave the audience wanting more, like with Jericho, and that's something they can do with Dean right now. Plus, if Rollins is still holding the case by the time he gets back, he can return in a huge spot when Rollins tries to cash-in. Ambrose likely would of had a filler feud from Rollins to WrestleMania season and some times it's better not to give WWE a chance to let a guy get lost in the shuffle imo.

Nooooooo! Not Dean! Since Xavier is apparently off TV again Dean Ambrose is my guy to root for. If he's off for months then.... WWE will shove the Bella-McMahon fued down our throats..... I'm pretty sure that the Bella-McMahon feud is going to be a focal point regardless of Dean Ambrose being around. Damn. WWE sucks. Take the over guy getting crazy pops off tv. Uuggggghh! Damn the WWE for allowing a guy to earn some more money and try something new on the side! THOSESONSABITCHES! They completely FORCED Dean Ambrose to step away from the ring to make a movie. God they're selfish. At least YOU agree with me. Makes me feel a little better.

Ted DiBiase took like two months off for The Marine 2. If this movie starts shooting this month, I think Ambrose will be back for Survivor Series.

I like how some people are upset. It shows that the "E" has faith in Ambrose. He's getting a freaking staring movie role, something I'm sure je didn't expect to happen when he was on the indy circuit.

It's just the less is more theory imo. If they take him away, and then have him return in an important spot, it's going to get more of a reaction than if they had him floating around doing meaningless matches for 2 months.

Although the pessimist in me can see him coming back and just going straight into meaningless rematches with Del Rio Cesaro every week.

Looks like he'll be written off soon then.
Imagine how crazy the crowd will pop when he comes back...

I hope it doesn't tank and its blamed on him.
Either way I'll watch. Dean is that good I'll check out a wwe film starring him and I've only enjoyed two so far which were The Marine and 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded.

Also love that this a big " you" to everyone saying WWE doesn't care about Dean and he'll get lost in the shuffle. The only guys to star in a wwe movie and flop were Kennedy (due to injuries and politics) and DiBiase (who couldn't get over).
