If there is one thing that last night's show taught me, it was that Roman Reigns is NOT someone I want to see as the number one guy. That match with Orton was boring, and I don't blame Orton alone. I don't believe in Roman Reigns. He needs a lot more time and seasoning before he has any business near the belt.
To answer the question, I think it will either be Cena in the rematch or Batista. If Cena gets it, then I could see Rollins cashing in afterward. Couldn't Rollins theoretically cash in during the rematch? If both guys are out, couldn't Rollins run out and pin Cena to prevent Brock from taking a loss? That might be an interesting angle.
Edit: I know its physically impossible, but I would mark out until I cried if Hogan was somehow physically able to unseat Brock and avenge the 2002 massacre. Ditto if it somehow ended up being Kurt Angle.
yeah, 2002 was one of my favorite years in WWE history.

I'll get back on topic of Brock destroying your boy. Yup. Absolutely demolished him. Now we can get on with the countdown to #16. No, it's predicting who will beat Lesnar. Do you really think it'll be Undertaker? I think there's an outside chance, but it's much more likely to be Reigns, Cena, Bryan or Batista. Didn't Hogan say he is training for one more match? Hulkamania is coming for you Brock! Hulk still needs to get that win back from 2002...

Hard-fought win for Cena at Night of Champions, then Rollins cashes in and takes the title. I'd be quite excited to see how Rollins fares at that level. I don't think he's there yet, but sometimes you don't know how they'll do until they actually get the title.

This is one of the times where not only Do we not know but I don't think the WWE themselves even have a clue how to book someone to beat Lesnar at this point.
I say they either A) have him" retire" with the belts (of course until mania )
Or B) pretend his diverticulitis is back and have that plus a run in have him lose.

They've built him up this way for someone to defeat him. It seems custom-made to put Reigns over the top, but I don't think they'll have the patience to wait that long.

I want it to be Undertaker because A) It would somewhat avenge his loss and B) It would give him the proper sendoff of retiring as champion.

They're building up this unbeatable king just to finally have the next young big thing dethrone him. But who is the next big thing? I thought reigns but boy is he dying quickly. Bryan is the only other viable option by the time he's ready to come back they won't have as much faith in him as the top guy as they did in April. The only other guys even close to Brock's level right now are The Rock and Steve Austin (if he decided to come back for one more) that's how huge he has become. He has become superior to JOHN CENA AND THE ING UNDERTAKER. I mean that is just insane!!

That's what makes me think it'll be Reigns. I can't see them sacrificing Undertaker and Cena to Lesnar just to put Daniel Bryan or The Rock over. They did sacrifice Ryback to put The Rock over a couple of years ago, but I think this time it's all about laying the foundations for a new star rather than a returning one. And I can only see that being Reigns at the moment, or maybe Ambrose as an outside shot.

I think if they had him do something like beat both Orton AND HHH at Summerslam then maybe people would still be freaking out for him. But for some really odd reason he has lost his buzz and FAST. Sad because I was really high on him. all this nonsense. Let's push DA BIG GUYY to the moon !! have RYBACK be the man to take out Lesnar! FEED ME MOREE

(Made me giggle to say it about Cena ) Between April-Aug 2014 in just two matches Lesnar has become the biggest wrestler on the planet.

Brock vs Ryback in a stretcher match... who legitimately injures the other first.... you can have Swagger as the guest referee
