I think its for the best that AJ leaves. Seems like she will only be known as the wife of CM Punk. Every time she is there thats all fans chant, wouldn't surprise me if it was getting to her.

I will say this, AJ Lee dug herself in a grave by marrying Phil Brooks. There is nothing she can do to eradicate the "CM Punk" chants. If it is true that AJ is leaving, thank goodness. Truthfully, they could get more out of Paige then with AJ.

AJ had a good run the last few years. She's done everything there is to do. Seems a good time for her to go.

whatever she does, wish her the best.
I think she still has a lot to offer in the ring though.

I think her and Paige are gonna do a "Loser Leaves The Company" type match pretty soon. It'll be a way for AJ to put over Paige one last time before leaving.
I'll be honest, AJ is probably one of my favorite diva's of all time but if she's ready to go, then who am I to bitch about the way she wants to live her life?

If there were CM Punk chants last night, they didn't last very long. I hope for Paige's sake, the feud with AJ continues.

Basically since AJ returned, all the crowd were chanting is CM Punk, even if they were brief. Its been a while since WWE booked a decent Divas feud for the title, but all fans can think about is CM Punk just because his wife is involved and they want to show how smart they are. She's been branded as "CM Punk's wife" now and will end up coloring her career the longer she stays under its shadow.

I would hope the chants would go away over time. Unlike many of the models turned divas, I would think it would be harder for AJ to walk away from her dream of being in the WWE - especially when she is on top.

It seems likely that she's on the way out.
It just seems incredibly strange to me. She's still so young, and this was her dream. You'd think she wouldn't have "gotten over" the business so quickly, so to speak.
Honestly, if this is truly what she wants, then good for her, I wish her the best. But if this is influenced by Punk, ehh.

This is probably the worst news there could have been for the divas division. Paige/AJ feud was just breathing new life into it, and if the plug is about to get pulled on it then I see the divas division sinking back to the craphole it was before AJ came back.

she didn't do herself any favours by adopting cm punk's promo stylings - the over enunciation, hell even the gimmick, her gestures. was like cm punk had possessed aj.

I really enjoyed her match with Paige last night. AJ leaving really hurts that division imo. I agree there isn't very much left for her to do, but, if true, at least she's going out on one of the better feuds she's had over the last couple of years. I think she's really talented, particularly on the microphone. Her heel stuff really worked for me.
I think the CM Punk stuff was pretty deliberate on her part. She's drawing those CM Punk reactions out of the crowd, or at least encouraging them from what I gather. I mean she copied his t-shirt haha. She knows exactly what she's doing.
It's very strange to me that Punk and AJ are such big fans of the business and they would be comfortable just hanging it up. I can understand wanting a family, obviously, but if they never return to WWE, or anywhere else, I'll be absolutely shocked. I think most wrestlers go through that phase where they want to show their kids what they do/did too. So I think that will come into play down the road for them as well.

Heyman mentioned that Punk lost his passion for the business and its not like he will take several months off. When he wants to leave it would be YEARS for him to get that back. I wouldn't be surprised if AJ feels the same. I don't see Punk coming back anytime soon. Definitely not this year and maybe not even in 2015.

As you know I am an A.J fan but... As much as I don't want her to go if she wants to its her choice but it will be a shame because in the past 2years (2012/2013) We've lost Kharma, Beth, Kelly, Eve, Kaitlyn, Aksana, Maryse, Melina, Maxine ect. And losing A.J will most likely sink down the division HOWEVER we still have the likes of Naomi, Nattie, Brie, Nikki, Alicia, Rosa, Emma, Layla, Tamina and even though I don't like her we do have Paige that can still wrestle sure Cameron, Eva & Summer are not the best but there improving and hopefully we see some NXT girls like Sasha, Charlotte, Bayley, Alexa too but I wish A.J the best ever if she does leave and it will be such a damn shame!

I think he's going to need that from a physical standpoint as well. It's only natural to get burnt out when they travel and work the way these guys do and Punk really never had a break prior to 2013. I do expect them to both return though, at some point. Punk needs to go do him for awhile and experience life outside of wrestling. It's always going to be there for him to comeback to at the end of the day.

Aw man, well at least she came back for one more run.
I hope she stays around a little longer, but that's up to her, she is deffintly one of the most over Divas in recent history.
They need to build up some of their other Divas (Naomi for example)
