Just came across these animations, so I gave Pivot and Dustin's folder a download, opened up a random file and started messing around. This is the end product and it's not good at all, especially looking at more and more of the animations on here but I figured I'd post it anyways because I had a blast making it. Hopefully this won't be the last one I post here and I'm looking forward to improving!

I'm reluctant to see so many who've gone astray after their endeavored trump card make a brief return. The animation was quite nice from my perspective. At the start, I really like the movements from the blue stick on the top rope. It was a little stiff in mid air and could have quite possibly used a few more frames during the moonsault but it in essence maintained flow and had a certain standard of smoothness to it and the spacing wasn't particularly bad either. The table break was ok, but it was a little choppy during impact. The blue stick leading up into the diving front flip senton was a bit fidgety but for what it's worth it undoubtedly had the potential exposure given the length of time. The front flip senton was good, the movement was alright but there wasn't really any impact or reaction. A fine addition with the pin count though.

Lol, I'm not entirely sure if that first sentence was intended to be an insult or not but thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree on the table break being pretty rough. It took me a bit to get used to manipulating its joints. Also, I started off using way too few frames and ended up going back and adding more frames while also tweaking positions on the moonsault so that probably added to it's slight awkwardness. The blue stick pretty much just floated in mid-air for a few seconds before I tweaked it, haha. I also see what you mean by the blue stick looking a bit fidgety leading up to the front flip senton. I only intended to do the moonsault at first but the blue stick ended up looking a bit weird coming up and so I just went with it. Also, I'll make sure to work on the impact/reaction aspect of my animations in the future. Thanks again for the feedback.

Being introduced to various SFAB members from back when really enthralls me. Thank you for taking the time to post in our little backwoods here.

Thank you for taking the time to post in our little backwoods here. Ah, fair enough. While I did post on these forums quite a bit back in the day, I never actually got into the stick figure animations. I believe I may have done a few animations taking photos of wrestling figures, but no stick figure animations. I recently got back into wrestling after having not watched for a number of years and started remembering all the old sites I used to frequent. I remembered awhile back there was a lot of animations going around using Fire Pro Wrestling sprites and I started searching around for those when I happened across this forum and it seemed like fun so I gave it a shot. By the way, is there any way to copy and paste sprites in Pivot Animator? I was working on table breaks and impacts while trying another animation and I went back to tweak the table a bit and then deleted the table in every frame forward from that frame thinking that I'd be able to copy and paste the table into the frames but I can't quite figure out if that's possible or not.

I completely understand, I originally came aboard WF on account of stopmotion (steady-shot photos w/wrestling figures into animation) then gradually transitioned into pivot. If I were to compare how much interest reflects from either of the two, i'd say they balance out quite nicely. In regards to sprites, unfortunately the only possible method at the moment revolves around re-editing every frame including sticks and sprites which varies upon what you intend to make. Copy and paste would be a superb implementation although neither the current nor previous versions offer this.

Here's another animation I did. Figured I'd post it in here rather than starting a whole new thread for it. Any and all feedback is welcome.

I'm glad to see that a new member is trying out Pivot. It's also rare for "Beginners" to do this kind of animations, i mean you can give alot of effort to your animations. I kinda like the Moonsault animation but its kinda Choppy and really Stiff. JUST LISTEN TO WHAT WE SAY AND COMPLIMENT and you'll be a good animator just like us. Welcome to Pivot Wrestling btw and be sure to join in Matches and PPVs.

The steel cage animation wasn't bad at all for what it's worth. Without the conclusive halt, it's a expedient but an uncommon feat to produce ani's that pertains to this concrete extent which is exceptional to have TX. The kick going into the ani was a little stiff and could have used a few more frames during movement into the transition. The taunt seemed a little to swift perhaps just to follow the equilibrium which further extends into the ani.
The lift up going into the powerbomb could have used more frames along the lines in which the black stiff was stiff during lift, essentially what is illustrated during this move is a slight bend of the knees and a arch of the back forward to show power within the upward thrust of the move. The powerbomb itself had nice air time and the spacing was relatively decent but a little choppy and stiff in mid air. The impact through the table was good although their could have been more of a reaction.
The second animation was enhanced a great deal as far as quality from what I can tell. At the beginning I really like the lift up and movements between co-existing sticks, that in of itself was very nicely done. The sitdown piledriver itself was smooth, flowed well and didn't incorporate to much stiffness which is nice to factor in. The speed really suited the ani in sequence with the move imo.
The impact through the table was just a little choppy along with the reaction with the blue stick but overall they was one of the few but minimal things that could use improvement on. Good animations here TX.
