There are FAR, FAAAAAAAAAAAAR TOO MANY Booker T and Teddy BAFs out there for you guys to even think about Paul Bearer right now. They'll flood them for X-Mas but no sooner. I promise that. TRU HAS DONE EVERYTHING they can to get rid of the previous sets (even just outright giving them away) and I personally think the previous sets were way over-produced.

My tru hasn't had BAF Teddy or Booker in months now. I really don't buy that. So BAF Booker didn't shelfwarm in Canada and UK? Even though your local TRU doesn't have them, that doesn't mean that the majority of stores across the US still has those sets collecting dust. |

I went to 3 TRU stores today and each had 3x5 rows of pegs with 5-6 Sheamus or Del Rios each, and thats only the BAF. They also had 15-20 elites of them also at each store. Its brutal. Surprisingly though CM Punks BAFs and E29 were warming hard too. I feel like him being off TV is going to make those sell slow. Del Rio being off TV means they wont sell.

the idea of a basic BAF set isn't good anyway....because theres so many other competing sets. usually TRU has 1-3 elite sets on the pegs at a time with 1 of them being whatever BAF is out and shelf warmers from the previous set. basics just have more pegs and more space, parents arent spending $15 on a basic del rio with figure parts that will be thrown out when there's a $12 del rio sitting right next to it. or whoever else is in the sets. there arent enough collectors in the world to depleat the full supply of BAF, plus mattel short packs certain ones for whatever  ing reason that doesnt make sense, so in the end you end up with way more of the guys even kids/parents dont want to buy im sure Bearer will be around soon. pegs are slowly starting to empty at TRUs and they'll want to get warehouse product cleared out for the christmas season |

I would love it if they either dropped the price of the BAF's to standard elite costs while selling them in at least 2 different retail stores like target/TRU, or kmart/TRU, AND/OR sold the BAF as an online exclusive for like $25-$30
I love hunting, but hate hunting for these... And we always get them WAY late

I don't believe that TRU stores are simply just waiting for previous BAF basics sets to sell. My TRU was overstocked with Cena and Sheamus figures from the Big Johnny BAF set around the time the Heyman set came out and I thought there was no way the store would ever get them in. Well, a week later nearly all those Cena and Sheamus figures were removed from the shelves and they had the Heyman set out. There's gotta be more to it then the fact that older sets aren't selling. If they waited for previous sets to finish selling out before putting new assortments on the shelves I'm pretty sure some stores would still be stuck on, like, Elite 17 or something. Well, I know for a fact that Target doesn't order new shipments of toys unless they have 3 or fewer of an item (depending on shelf space). The only exception would be if they were so overloaded on stuff that never sold and did a send-back, which is kinda rare. I realize this is TRU we are talking about and not Target, but I can't imagine it's that much different. |

Maybe they should just drop the BAFs altogether. But then Mattel would say Paul Bearer wouldn't sell enough on his own. Arrggh. They could have just put him in a 2-pack with a classic Undertaker. We never had these problems in the Jakks days.  |
