Seriously, enough of this sh*t. People need to stop ing dying right now. Longest Yard, Bond, Pale Rider. He was a big guy though so 74 is probably a pretty good run but still a shame to see anyone pass away before 100 as far as I'm concerned. Guns don't kill people, I kill people...

I'll admit I only know his Bond flicks and Happy Gilmore, but there isn't a character I quote in that movie more than him, and he's only got like six lines.
"I beg to differ. Happy Gilmore accomished that feat no more than an hour ago."

R.I.P
Heres something about Richard Kiel not many know. He was the only other actor to star as the Incredible Hulk in the old 80s show with Lou Ferrigno. There was a small scene in one of the early episodes where they used footage of Kiel as the Hulk. I think he was the original choice but it didnt work out and they went with Ferrigno.

Damn, I just read this news on TMZ and was immediately shocked and saddened. I will remember him most from Happy Gilmore. Too many celebrity deaths this year...One after another, after another....Never ending it seems. Very sad....

This sucks ass. Jaws was always one of my favorite Bond villains.
Good for Happy GilmoMYGOD!! Would've been badass to get to hit a ball off Frankensteins fat foot.

This year has sucked with people dying. I remember him mostly as Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me & Moonraker, I also remember him teaming up with Jackie Chan in Cannonball Run & Happy Gilmore.
It also sucks he passed away just before his birthday on the 13th September, same day as mine.
Damn this year has really sucked with celebrity deaths.

One of my Fathers favorite all time movie line was Kiel as Samson in the longest yard " I think I broke his F***ing Neck!" Was a very good actor for someone who was viewed as a gimmick actor. He will be missed.

Sad to hear. He really did good in the comedy roles like Happy Gilmore and Cannonball Run 2. Always liked his role in Pale Rider too. Honestly, it's not as surprising as some other deaths, since as he got older, it seemed like his health slowly was going down hill. Still a sad loss, none the less.
And Adam Sandler's response to Kiel's passing from Twitter:
Richard was a special man. My thoughts are with his family.
Richard Kiel was one of the nicest, funniest guys I've ever met. I'll never forget hanging out with him & how good he was to everyone.

Believe it or not, I actually saw him in person once. He was sitting down and was still almost as tall as me! Shame to hear of his passing.
