Nah, I make fun of them for being socially backward idiots who thinks it ok to call someone gay in 2014 for liking a respected Olympic sport that has been around since the dawn of time.

In elementary and early middle school, I was all about it. My friends and I used to bring figures to school and play with them during lunch or something. Then I started getting to the awkward teen years where everyone is worried about image and that was when wrestling wasn't as universally accepted as it was in the late 90's. I stopped talking about it as much but I never stopped being a fan. I didn't talk about it much during high school but now I don't care. I tweet about it all the time and have my blog.

You'll always get some douche who's like oh isnt that fake, I just bring to their attention that last year they found Cricket players, football players, horse jockey's ALL taking a back hander to throw a match / race, so yeah wrestling is fake but so is whatever you watch

One of me friends likes ice hockey and watches hockey stuff. No issue. Another likes cars, no issue there. I watch a 20 second WWE clip.
"OH IT'S FAKE! IT'S NOT REAL! HOW CAN YOU WATCH? IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU?"
Yet they end up watching with me O.o o.O
Love it when I get the fake and it's not real comments and they see Abyss go flying off a ladder through a barbed wire board or Bram with thumb-tacks stuck in his back. They naturally go oh well maybe there is some realism to it. The best one was watching IMPACT a few weeks ago when Angelina Love went against Gail Kim, it might've been a fatal 4 way and one of me friends said it was real because women were in the match.

I'm 22 years old. I occasionally wear wrestling related shirts; hell sometimes I'll wear Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers shirts. I have a job. I own a car. I finance my interests with my own hard earned money. If people want to grow up and get boring, and abandon everything that once brought them happiness in the past, then so be it. I'll buy/wear/collect/play with whatever the I want because I payed for it and it makes me happy.

I'm not embarrassed but I don't talk about it with non wrestling fans. I just don't see a point. It's either going to be a weird look from them or repetitive questions because they don't get it.

never been teased honestly.
Whenever I mention wrestling, people just start to reminisce about the good old days and comment that it sucks now.

Some of my friends give me crap for still watching it regularly because I am almost 40. Then I make fun of them for watching Project Runway, or something else, then we laugh and drink our beer and move on. Funny though, when Microsoft lets me use their suite at Philips Arena for wrestling events, suddenly they want to go...

As I have always said, and it has been discussed here before, wrestling is a form of entertainment. Some people like to watch other television programs or movies, but they are much more scripted (Yes, even including the reality shows) than wrestling. The wrestler has to work in his moves and his opponents moves before the proposed finish.
Sports are not scripted (hopefully, but you sometimes wonder), but teams run plays that are scripted or perform skills that are worked on or rehearsed in training camps.
My response is that it is my choice of entertainment. It does not have off seasons or reruns and I can plan my schedule accordingly. I do not have to wait several months for it to pick up again and have to locate it on the schedule. It is going to be there week in and week out.

Never really anything serious. Just some stuff from my friends in jest. It's strange, nowadays, more than ever, my friends are more open to it. That all happened around the time Punk got popular. Punk brought an edge back that made people at least not see it as a total joke.

My friends all give me sh** about it, but that's what friends do. We all make fun of each other for what we like. I was a fan before everything, and they know it won't change.

Only once, in high school. I managed to turn it against him, and ran MMA into the ground too XD. I don't dislike MMA, it was just brought up as an alternative I should watch, so I put it down.
