It's a pretty neat figure but..
It's yoshi. Just a random jobber
I wouldn't pay more then 15 bucks for it, regardless of how it looks.

I got him for $40 last year..but I never pay more than $40 for a single figure. I've seen Yoshi listed MOC for as much as $80..that's steep. If you want him that bad, go or it!

This figure is one of the few elites that didn't come with an accessory and there's a reason why: it's one of their best and most detailed paint jobs. Go for it.

I was all about my basic Yoshi when I first got it, but now I almost feel like I should check on it to make sure I even still have it.
Steep price and Yoshi Tatsu shouldn't go together.

It's a steep price, but he's obviously never getting another figure again and the detailing on the tights is absolutely incredible. Makes the Basic look like some bootleg.

If you are a fan of his, or just like having really great looking figures in your collection, yes. I was lucky and snagged him at retail. The price on the some of the older elites that once warmed shelves can be crazy. It's all about your priorities and what you want in your collection though.

Jobber or not, the figure is fantastic. Great details on the tights. If you want a an awesome looking figure for your collection, this one will stand out.

It does have one amazing attire and in green, my favorite color, no less. I would say that under 50 moc is fair asking price right now and loose I wouldn't pay more than 25 to maybe 30 tops. No figure, regardless of how nice it is, is worth more than 50. I'd wait and see if they go down. Mattel figures are at a crest of popularity and that IS a bubble that will burst. The problem is when? Could be next year or it could be years.
In the meantime, I actually like the basic 20 figure better. It isn't as detailed but the attire and the half-facepaint is awesome. Surely that one is cheaper. His first basic isn't bad either, it is just bland compared to these two.
