US n Canada are both the same region, though, aren't we? Europe/Asia are different, I believe. I suppose, I never thought about it that way.

Says it's only valid in the US ): Thanks anyways Worked here in Canada. Yeah, I just tried a different code and it worked. I took Amazing Spider-man 2. X-Men first class was the code that didn't work

That's the only thing I can figure is they use different numbers for different regions. Not many people are buying DVDs in America, and flying home to Zimbabwe with them.

Redeemed Catching Fire, thanks bud! I would love to see your blu-ray collection sometime. I posted mine in the Last Bought thread a few days ago. I'm at 541 blu-rays now.

I don't have nearly that many. I'm probably rockin' around 60 BDs, or so. I usually only buy 'bigger' movies (Godzilla, Pacific Rim, superheroes, etc) on BD, and still buy most comedies/dramas on DVD. There are exceptions obviously, but -- yeah, I probably wont make the full conversion to BD until I absolutely have too, which I don't believe will be any time soon. The only other thing I've been focusing on is upgrading the movies that had a real impact on me as a filmmaker, converting to BD. Like Jaws, JP, T2, Ghostbusters. I wanna pick up Casper, and the first two TMNT live action flicks, I saw Casper for 10 bucks this morning at Best Buy, and the TMNT movies are in the clearance barrel at Walmart, just -- haven't dropped the money on em yet.

I know the feeling. There are probably a good dozen movies in my collection that I just -- DESPISE. Way more than that which just aren't very good. People are like "Well, why do own them?" -- because watching a movie IS film school. Good/bad, right/wrong. You can learn something, and then apply it, from every movie. Even if that's "how not to do something". Enjoy the Masters' classes. Film school was forgone in favor of business school, for me. Working on getting set up to go back for my MBA, myself, as well.

I try to avoid the bad ones or ones I don't like, though I am a completionist, so stuff like TMNT 3 has to be in my collection lol It was funny, in undergrad the department had a terrible library and the professors always borrowed movies from me for their classes XD Best of luck to you sir!

Thank you so much for doing this. I grabbed Wizard of Oz and The Conjuring.
Really appreciate it! I'll have to post some of the ones I have that I never used soon so others can enjoy. Again, thank you.

Again, thank you. You are very welcome. Keep in mind when you watch Oz (if you haven't watched it on BD, or in theaters recently) -- it's not "true" HD, as we recognize it, now. It's just how they remastered it, to keep the quality, so it will likely be boxed off, as opposed to widescreen. At least that's the way it was on the most recent Blu Ray. It's still a GORGEOUS remastering. Don't get me wrong. When the door opens into Oz and those colors hit. Seeing it in HD is a treat. I just don't believe they remastered it in 4k like they did with Ghostbusters.

Very very cool of you to do this. I'm a digital copy fanatic. I have most of them but I grabbed Oculus. Very kind and much appreciated.

Lurkers are taking these. Moneyball and Jaws are both gone. I would expect it to happen to some extent. Not really a major problem. At least nobody is rolling through and taking them all.

For the rest, I'd recommend asking the classifieds mod if you could post it there so only members could get them.

although I am not using any of the links, it's a very nice gesture from you. Nice to see there are still good people around here

I tried to use Ghostbusters but couldn't get it to work. I'll probably end up buying it for the digital copies and the BR version of GB2 anyway. Everything else I either already own or would rather let someone who is more interested grab it up. I really appreciate the thought though. It's a really nice gesture.

That may mean Ghostbusters was swiped up, too.
I JUST found it today.
If you're GB fan, I actually do recommend picking up the special edition book they just released. The 4K remasters are beautiful, and there's some cool bonus stuff with it, and it's only 20 bucks for both. Good deal, if you ask me.
Glad people are enjoying/appreciating it. It's really no big deal, at all. They were very literally going to go unused, so -- why not get the full money's worth for the product?

There's also a $5.00 off coupon which would make at around $11.00 at Wal-Mart, or 12.00 at target. ghostbustersmovie.tumblr.com/coupon---- I grabbed Cabin In The Woods and Evil Dead. Should make for a good/weird double feature. Thank you for doing this. I really appreciate it.

Cool of you to do this, and glad to see some fellow Blu-Ray collectors as well. I hit 735 Blus this week. Movie collecting has been something I've absolutely loved for the last 12 years or so.

When I was collecting, I was probably buying 10-15 DVDs/BDs a month.
I've scaled it back considerably. Truth is, making movies takes a whole lot more money than watching them. I had to prioritize.
Cabin in the Woods/Evil Dead should make for a great double Feature. I seem to be in the minority, but I liked the remake. That may just be because I HATE the original. No idea. But -- enjoy!
