Bobby Roode beat Lashley to become the new TNA champion on what appears to be the go home edition of iMPACT before Bound for Glory!!
Interesting to see what happens with BFG because Full Metal Mayhem is also scheduled to be taped this week.

-sighs- So this is how they sell Bound for Glory, their biggest PPV of the year? They have Roode beat Lashley on the show BEFORE the PPV? This is as bad as when WWE had Reigns and Rollins on Monday before the PPV. Oh, and Full Metal Mayhem before BFG as well? Now they gave away about 4 matches that could have been used on PPV, but instead they use it for the TV Show and now they have no matches at all for the PPV that I'm interesting in watching. I wouldn't care if TNA had TNA vs. WRESTLE-1 matches, I really am not interested in watching Bound for Glory anymore. They had matches I was interested in watching at BFG, matches I would have spent money on watching, and now, I really doubt I'm gonna buy BFG.

Read a report since which thinks the title change will take place on the first iMPACT following Bound for Glory!
Suspect your idea of TNA v WRESTLE 1 maybe the direction their going in. Which is a mistake and makes their biggest show of the year no bigger than one of their one night only PPV's

Bobby Roode as champion is fantastic, but the execution and timing is God awful, regardless of when the episode airs. They already gave the match away on the No Surrender broadcast because I'm assuming that they were unsure if they would even make it past September. So now, they know that they will be able to hold Bound for Glory. Great. WHY NOT HAVE THE TITLE CHANGE THERE?!?! Having it on either the go home show or fallout edition of Impact Wrestling is horrendously horrendous.
I hope TNA dies. I'm sick of this bullsh*t booking.

I'm disappointed as well at the booking of this, which both the match and the title change should have taken place at Bound for Glory. What a great moment that could have been if Roode won at BFG. I wouldn't go as far as to say I hope TNA dies, cause I hope they succeed, but they're making it hard for me to become a fan again. I'm liking the shows they're putting on, but I feel they're putting on these types of shows just for the heck of it. I never hear ANY match being built up for BFG. Sure they can play many commercials about BFG in Japan, but why should I give a crap if the PPV has the look that it won't even follow what's going on on the TV programs. The booking is weird and the only thing TNA has going for them is the good matches they're putting on lately. The only three things I am liking about Impact is the Tag Team series, Havok and the booking of Lashley as TNA World Champion, even though I'm not even a big Lashley fan.

I'm glad that Bobby Roo is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but he should have won the title at BFG.
The video below should explain why this title change at a TAPED show that will air AFTER Bound For Glory, which takes place in JAPAN was a stupid idea.

Oh TNA. It reminds me of that old Animaniacs skit.
Good idea - Put the World Title on Bobby Roode Bad idea - Do it on the go home show and not your biggest show of the year
