I feel like there should just be 1 official Ambrose thread. It seems like there are constantly a bunch.

I thought this was going to be about Titty Master. I wish that joke would die, so tired of it. I figured the name came from Michael Cole and Vince's nickname generator.

I've been wondering where the Titty Master monicker came from, and this thread prompted me to search for it. At least now I can laugh at it with some context. As for Lunatic Fringe, I think you're looking into that too much, OP...it's a fairly common phrase.

I just assumed Ambrose was a Red Rider fan.

There's an old song called Lunatic Fringe that is a lot more famous than that radio station. Also, it's just a pretty common phrase that's been around for a long time. To just assume that Michael Cole calls him that because of some radio station is like saying Seth Rollins is "The Architect" because of the character from The Matrix.

Yep and that song is in a wrestling movie that inspired almost every wrestler (both pro and amateur) and MMA fighter in the world. Vision Quest.

That black rubber does scream "Matrix" though.

Sigh
Ever hear of Vision Quest? A fantastic movie about high school wrestling. One of the main themes from this movie was "Lunatic Fringe" by Red Rider. It went on to become somewhat of an unofficial theme for wrestling everywhere. Even Kurt Angles current theme samples "Lunatic Fringe"
