Jesus Christ quit bitching. You're bitching about WWE using him wrong before he's even debuted based on some dirt sheet. If you hate WWE so much then stop watching and go ahead and stop posting here.

I kinda like it.
And we've seen all kind of awful names and people still make the most of it. I have no doubt this name will not hold him back whatsoever.

Honestly I like the sound of Finn Balor better than Fergal Devitt. Probably the only one but meh. Fergal Devitt is his real name(and a very strong Irish name) so I prefer that. Fergal/Fergus are traditional Irish/Gaelic name's........ its not made up.....just in case anybody thought that. Now I'm not saying you did Ryback but some of the posts that followed did. Vince made Sheamus work as a name......and Sheamus is simply Irish for James. Vince added the H for the correct "pronounce"

Wahhh someone is getting their name changed.
It's not a great name, but I've seen much worse.

I don't understand why this is a surprise to anyone. Everyone changes their name, except for CM Punk. Get used to it and get over it. He'll be fine and if he does fail, it'll be because of a lot more than his name.

A name change is definitely to be expected. However after careful consideration? I feel they can do better.

Finn: The name Finn is an Irish baby name. In Irish the meaning of the name Finn is: Fair. Mythology; Finn Mac Cumhail was legendary Irish 3rd century hero similar to the English Robin Hood. His warrior-followers were named Finians.
Balor: in Celtic mythology, chief of the chaotic race of Fomoire—the demonic race that threatened the Irish people until they were subdued in the second great battle of Mag Tuired (Moytura). When Balor was a boy, he looked into a potion being brewed by his father’s Druids, and the fumes caused him to grow a huge, poisonous eye.
so yeah, that name is pretty bad ass.

Well done man....liking this once just isn't enough It seems that maybe Devitt had some input into this after all.

Yup. Fionn agus Na Fianna is one of my favourite Irish Legends. The one about Tir Na Nog especially.

I wish they would've just kept him as Devitt.

That's one example, and look how that name worked out for him. Because it was totally the name and not his lack of motivation or willingness to work out and keep himself in good shape that got him fired. I don't know if you really don't get it, or if you're just arguing to be an ass.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the name, but I said the same thing about Sami Zayn, Kassius Ohno and I ended up getting used to the name. I would have come up with something similar to Prince Devitt, but hey I'm not gonna come on here and say, "Oh, WWE is gonna ruin this guy with that name and blah blah blah". I'm not gonna say that WWE is not gonna use him right, because it's obvious that they have big plans for him. If they weren't, they wouldn't have made his signing such a big deal like they did Hideo Itami and Kevin Steen when they were signed. Let's all just wait and see what happens with Prince Devitt/Finn Baylor on NXT before we all panic.
